Colors races ahead; Sony on upward path

Zee TV at No. 3 has a relative share of 17.7 per cent, and is separated by merely 7 GRPs from STAR Plus.

Sony, which is at No. 4 in Week 46 with 14 per cent channel share, is on a growth trajectory. Before the revamp, Sony's relative channel share was around 7 per cent. Though the launch of new shows did not exactly accelerate the channel's growth; over the last few weeks, the channel's GRPs have increased from 108 in Week 27 to 198 in Week 46.
CID is the most watched show on Sony, garnering 3.5 TVR. Its newest addition, Aahat has also got an opening TVR of 3.5. In week 46, Sony aired the movie, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, which recorded a TVR of 3.2.
NDTV Imagine is at No. 5 with a relative share of 8.6 per cent. SAB follows with a share of 5 per cent, followed by DD1 with 4 per cent share. STAR One and Sahara One have garnered shares of 3.5 and 2.2 per cent, respectively. STAR Utsav and 9X have clocked a share of 1 per cent each.
On the list of top 10 programmes, Uttaran on Colors has recorded its highest ever TVR of 9.6, making it the most watched programme on Hindi GECs. Na Aana Is Des Laado is at No. 2 with 6.5 TVR. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Balika Vadhu follow with a TVR of 6 each. Chhoti Bahu figures at No. 5 on the list with a TVR of 5.7.
The other shows in the top 10 are: Bidaai, Pavitra Rishta, Bairi Piya, Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo and Jhansi Ki Rani.
