We just saw the Jan 13th Show yesterday. I feel Himani performed best. Debu attempted the tough song but that was kind of gample. If you live upto the expectation you are the star and if you could not. You are disappointing your mentor and your's luck.

I would be very disappointed if Himani exits right after this performance. Every single has good or bad day but If single exits right after the top performance is kind of unexpactable.

People talk about the Nihira, Sonanda and Saribs exit-- See all of them are the very good singer. Sonanda exits was due to her throat(She had cold at that time). Nihira exit (I though it will be Debu but other contestent performed better then Nihira on that episod).

This time again I think Debu should exit based on the Jan 13th performance. But you never know. I hats off HANDPUMP (Vineet) for his guts to handle HR. He is from a small place and make HR his bunny.

HI I am new to this forum , but I do read all ur replies. I felt like adding my own view points too seeing the last week's episode.

Well about Nihira getting voted out , I feel its the choice of song , I did see someone write in this forum before also , it has to appeal to the viewer. Like her Kajara re , she sang very well but it dint appeal to us . ID has to put more effort to the choice of song for his contestants.
Looking at that I personally feel AS gives very good choice of songs to hemu and himani and same goes with HR for vineet.

As far as the qawali is concerned , at the end of the day when u are one of the contestant in top 4 , u shouldnt be seeing and singing a song . Its a competition where lot of money is involved as prize so u have to go an give ur best and should be error free. No one asked him to sing such a difficult song , I agree with one of the member who wrote this telling , its better to sing a flawless song less complicated than making mistakes for a tough song and where Debo also saw and sang the song.

I agree no one matched the original singer but their effort was seen when they came to stage and performed their best. I dont know how many read about the recent development in SAREGAMAPA , about the other 3 ie himani, hemu , vinit staging a walk out of show becoz Debo got the max number of votes for his last week's performance.U can check it out in mumbai mirror

Himani was the best. I am so sad for this. Where is this show going................. 😭 😡

Staging a walkout is such a bad thing for the spirit of the competition... I really didnt expect top participants like Hema and Vinit doing it!! I think many other gr8 singers have lost, but no one ever staged a walkout.

I think, we should all agree to the audience results, since this competition is more about audience votes... If any1 has their favorite singers in the competition, then u should send 1000 votes for them, rather than making noise that a good singer went out!!

And I think debo sang the song really very well. He definately made one mistake where his voice broke, but then I dont think others like Hema or Vinit could have sung the song better than Debo...Thats the reason even Ismail left the show...coz the other mentors showed bias towards their favorites & I see a lot other people in this forums also showing the same bias !!!

I have been following the SAREGAMA challenge 2005 from the beginning and hardly missed any show. It was really sad what these three contestants did to Debojit just because he got maximum number of public votes which they can not accept. Where were all these emotions and protests when the un arguably best contestant of all of them Nihira were voted out?
After the final five were chosen it is anybody's game as all of them are singing well. Why it was so difficult to accept Debu's getting maximum number of votes for his entry in to final three? The Show is still on and there will only two winners. Is it because somebody already decided who should be the winners and making sure to eliminate an honest and hard working competitor by any means??

I watched the episode yesterday on 17th January.I live in the US.I have started watching Sa re ga ma pa because I am a music lover.Id's choice of song for Debojit was beyond his vocal range.To sing a song sung by two yesteryear maestros was no small feat.ID misjudged Debojit's vocal range and was directly instrumental in a mediocre performance by Debojit.So him walking out was very unfair to Debojit.
HR's scoring for all the singer's has been very biased.He is trying to undermine other candidates' chance to win the contest.His quite pathetic pleas for Vineet at every instance is a disgrace.Hr should be barred permanently from Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.His obsession with Vineet is weird and makes you wonder! If he is better than everybody why beg for votes?
Nihira's exit was really very disappointing.Her angelic voice will be heard no matter what.
