TXT leader Choi Soo-bin faces sexual harassment in fan call? Angry netizens call out 'weirdo, diabolical' OP

Fans of the talented K-Pop boy band TXT (Tomorrow X Together) are disgusted after what happened with Soobin at a recent fancall event. As we know, fan service is an integral part of Korean pop culture. Such events are promoted in advance by companies as they help boost album and merchandise sales. Choi Soo-bin is the leader of TXT and much loved for his vocals and pleasant demeanour. There was a fan call event where a fan clearly crossed all limits. Fans are angry with the company that they did not cut the call, and made him complete the rather awkward interaction.

It looks like the person was a Yeobin shipper i.e. someone who wishes to see Yeonjun and Soobin in a romantic relationship, as per what is being discussed on social media. The person apparently played a balance game and asked him sexually inappropriate questions referring to a moaning audio clip of Yeobin that is apparently doing the rounds in platforms in South Korea. It is a fake clip but it is known to many online users. Supporters of the group are livid as no one from the team stopped it. Choi Soo-bin sat through the question with discomfort on his face. We know that many fans are in a parasocial relationship with their idols but this kind of behaviour is downright degeneracy. They are not the first boy group who suffered due to such conduct of fans.
