Honestly, I have absolutely no appreciation for singling out a language based box office when the movie also gets money from audiences with another regional language but of the same country.
To me, it's a l w a y s the Indian (net) box office that counts when talking/writing about bo-numbers. Of course, there are movies only from one language based filmindustry that are only released in certain Indian states, so the bo would only be about Hindi...but still... there are theatres in states where people understand Hindi very well, right? and the movies are in theatres there, too...
So, coming to War 2: everyone who only looks at the Hindi bo-numbers to judge the movie doesn't respect a significant (in this film) part of the audience... to me, that is a no-go.

Telugu numbers are mainly due to Ntr Jr
Wow adding Jr..Ntr was a masterstroke..52 net combined all versions is a big number!!

So what? What should it matter? The man was cast as a lead, right? Even though the reason might be to attract the paying audience of this South Indian star...they are also the audience of the whole movie, right? The filmindustries of other regional languages make the same and cast Hindi actors/actresses to attract the audience from the North regions. At the end, they all are I n d i a n movies, right?
The dividing spirit should end wherever possible, imo.
Mintyji,
Hrithik has become like Mariah Carey. Both are in their 50's and can't sell anymore.
I am sad for both because I love them.
But both Hollywood and Bollywood discrimate.
Mariah's album will bomb on September 26, it's inevitable.
I don't expect it to sell and I am her fan

Mintyji, it's Friday and I am praying for a miracle on War 2. Maybe if this Mariah Carey song can bring good luck to him somehow:
Mariah Carey - Someday (Official HD Video)
I am praying
But the budget of the movie increased also due to Jr NTR. Else it would have been lesser. Think he was paid around 70 crores.
Yes casting him was a good move.
That was expected
