Seher Hone ko Hai: Episode Discussion thread 1 - Page 121

May 11th Episode

This was a fantastic episode. The perfect mix of romance and their chaotic energy. The episode reminded me of the Adamganj track even here we have underlining sadness to everything. I have been hoping we go back to our Befizul era but today even the song felt filled with yearning of lost love.

I was laughing and crying at the same time today. When Mahid asked her to sit in front of him; their conversation was heartbreakingly beautiful yet somehow equally heartbreakingly tragic. It is also one of the honest conversations they have about their feelings since the age revelation. Seher's now knows that he keeps pushing this engagement to push her away; he didn't admit but he couldn't meet her eyes. She learned a lot about how her age has effected him. I think she is sensing she doesn't have much time left with him by her Freudian slip.

We all get why Mahid is doing and fully support him but why this engagement necessary? Why is divorce necessary? He obviously cares deeply for her would go to anything to protect her and her dreams so why can't he wait?

This thread that he is trying to sever refuses to break; isn't that a sign?

They were both laughing in the end and that never ends well for either of them.

The precap is interesting. Hope the police actually investigate but I have a feeling Phufi swapped the moon and will try to blame Seher.

May 12th Episode

The episode was all about revelations. I'm glad Seher told him about the diary, her reasons for not telling him were valid. I wasn't too fond of his reaction; it came of accusatory. If it wasn't for Seher; he wouldn't know any of this information. Glad once he processed it, he understood. Now the police is involved, found the weapon and will reopen Gazala's death case; hopefully the investigation will stick to a logical route.

Is it me or the episodes with MaHer in the ice room feel like the long goodbye. It feels like we are at the acceptance stage of grief. Their conversations and everything especially in today's episode felt like they accepted the end of their relationship.

I hope I'm not reading too much into this because it makes me so sad. I know the friendship will give them a deeper foundation for the future and steady shoulder of support in the present as they each deal with life's trial and tribulations.

The precap seems fun and he looks so proud when she said she will pay him back when she is a doctor. I just wish they could take their journeys of growth together.

Don't be afraid. Those scenes are to add intensity in this love story, and catch the interest of viewers. You see in the promo, Mahid took Seher and her mom with him. He is taking their responsibility. So think positively. I know it will be hard for Mufti to accept Seher's studying, and he may try to stop her. But Mahid will help her.

I know it will. It makes me sad to see them sad. I don't trust any of the promos after the honeymoon one; they are all misleading. But either the way with Kausar knowing the truth behind engagement I think she will be more open to taking help from Mahid. I'm excited for that because she will get to know him and see him the way Seher sees him. The softer side of Mahid Niyazi that is only reserved for Seher.

I actually really liked these last 2-3 episodes! Finally Mahid and Seher are talking out like they should! Idk about you guys but I love the fact they decided to be friends, and Seher being Seher approached the idea of friendship first!

Only good thing that crazy Nazima did with her crazy theme (lovely but dangerous theme for the engagement lol) is that it gave a chance for MaHer to have a proper conversation and why the seperation was necessary!

Realistically speaking, MaHer should stay friends, even after their divorce is finalized. Seher will be busy with her medical preps while Mahid will be busy in recovering fully from his past trauma and his role as future Mufti.

And then when the time is right, it can be like a journey from friendship to love again but this time both are mature.

Also Parth and Rishita’s chemistry has been soooo goood in these episodes like one of their best scenes together!
