She deserves, after all, she being an influential person in the politics and media, ads will be flooded.

she is a great actress, portrays every emotion with ease, still has the ability to make audience to fall for her on screen presence, dialogue delivery, emote well, connect with every multigenerational women, she is epitome of beauty ❤️ who has lots of brains.

I’m sure her political affiliation is a factor but I believe the sponsors are also aware that regardless of her political affiliation, the show is definitely a profitable investment.

Kyunki is a legacy show regardless of what people think and say about it. People still associate Tulsi with Smriti and vice verse. They knew that Amar was also being brought back as were as many OG actors as possible.

Kyunki at the height of its popularity was commanding nearly 2.5 lakh per 10 seconds of ad space which was unheard of before for a television serial. Cricket events particularly World Cup or Test Matches especially those with India - Pakistan, yes, for the first screening of a popular movie being aired on a TV channel like say the TV premiere of Gadar or Lagaan which I believe released in the era, award shows like Filmfare, yes; but not for serials. The first show that broke the glass ceiling was KBC, but it can’t be called a serial by any definition and was the TV debut of Amitabh Bachchan, so it was in a league of it’s own too. But in terms of TV serials, Kyunki was the first one to make that kinda money even back then.

They know Kyunki as a brand still has insane recall value and influence on the market. With the OGs being back on the show they knew it would be a profitable business move regardless of Smriti’s political affiliation.

Kangana is from the same party, now even an MP, but her movies don’t get the kind of backing despite that because movies are riskier in comparison. Despite her talent, there’s no guarantee she’ll get a hit. There’s no recall value, no way to gauge market interest or impact before the release and the movie can get lost if someone releases a movie in the same window or the same day which takes off. Like for example, Dhurandhar has been such a surprise hit that many people didn’t know what hit them. Release dates have been pushed back, other movies that released around the same time are either struggling like Avatar or disappeared like Kapil Sharma’s movie without anyone even caring or noticing. This despite the fact that Dhurandhar didn’t even have a Pan India release in any other language! It was only released in Hindi!

Part 2 is Pan India and will clash with Toxic but no one even understands what that movie is about yet. And it will be hard for it to retain the hold it expects thanks to the anticipation for part 2 being really high.

Something similar can happen to Kangana as well. But they know with Kyunki there is no such risk. So even though she’s not actively a minister currently, purely from a business standpoint too it makes sense to sponsor Kyunki. These contracts can be renewed and renegotiated in the future as and when required per the findings of the sponsors at the time too.

Ofcourse Kangana is a great actor, no doubt about it.

Kangana is not at par with Smriti in the politics, just my opinion. The kind of leadership Smriti posesses, the knowledge she has and the ability to captivate audiences, the confidence and clarity she brings while speaks, Kangana lacks. Kangana needs to to the groundwork, Smriti already is doing from 2007-08 i believe.

Definitely Kyunki has been the most loved serial in the past, people will have the same nostalgia today, naam hi kaafi hai, to get the ads and revenue it generates.

Smriti is a Delhi girl. She also got involved in politics, at least openly, and joined BJP at the peak of her career during the first season of Kyunki itself. So not only did she get to spend almost all her life in Delhi, the capital, she also has got a lot more experience than Kangana.

Kangana didn’t actively join politics let alone the BJP until very recently. Smriti got involved at least 2 decades ago. The fact that she’s very articulate and fluent in multiple languages while actually being proficient enough to hold her ground in such a highly competitive field is in and of itself very telling and helps her immensely.

Kangana is known to put her foot in her mouth almost on a regular basis. Smriti is too witty and has never been caught in such a situation in her political as well as celebrity career spanning for more than two decades which is quite a feat.

First her association with Bill gates directly without Govt knowledge.

Second, her VIP culture adoption and being in Delhi, she forgot her constituency and people. Although, she has done lots of work in Amethi, her absence was the main reason for defeat this term. Visibility matters🙄.

Third, her association with KJo n Ekta for an award show probably.

There’s definitely something that went wrong there behind the scenes I doubt we will know the whole story ever so let’s see.

I think more than then reasons you mentioned it was her perhaps getting into an ego tussle with Yogi Adityanath, as is the rumour in some circles, that led to her defeat this time around. She’s assumed that her position would be secure if she didn’t seem to get too big for her boots when it came to the two biggies… but she miscalculated and forgot that UP is in a way, a mini nation within itself, by sheer size of land and population alone. You do not get to irk the crocodile in his own domain and not expect to suffer from his retaliation.
