This forum is funny. People belittle the achievement of Deepika saying that she got chance because of Prakash Padukone and Ranveer's achievement by mentioning his relationship in Bollywood. Everyone in India know that no matter how hard other sports celebrity try they won't get the influential status of a cricketer or Bollywood star and if the sportsperson is from south their role in mainstream politics or cinema is very limited.

Until yesterday the claim was Ranveer got chance because he is Sonam Kapoor's cousin . Now someone done research and found that he is the grandson of some character actress who retired on 1969. People call Alia, Varun, Ananya,Arjun Nepo products because their parents or grandparents has influence on Bollywood. There was one interview of Abhishek which clearly shows how the kids of Bollywood mainstream actors practically grow up together,attended same functions, played on the same ground. The relationship they develop during this process helps them to grab opportunity with ease .

Kjo is very close to anil kapoor and his family, and the fact that kjo didn't know who ranveer was shows that ranveer is not very close to sonam and her family. Becuase kjo knew all the other close family members of sonams such as arjun and mohit marwah.

Sonam does not even refer to ranveer as her cousin when she talks about him. Whereas she calls arjun and mohit marwah her brothers. That shows the equation between them, yes ranveer and sonams family may know each other from before, but they dont have that close family equation.

Sonam was once asked about her and ranveer being related, and even she didnt sound like she was completely sure 😆

She said she thinks they are third cousins, and that he is her moms cousins son, or something like that 😆

1. Mom's cousin's son is second cousin, 2. Arjun and Mohit are her first cousins. No one calls their second cousin their brother/sister. I toh don't even know how some of my second cousins look like as a grownup, even though I used to see them often at parties. It's similar with Sonam as well. Ranveer used to attend their birthdays when they were kids then the second cousins became distant.

Yeh I'm only close to my first cousins, I dont know any of my second or third cousins properly, I have probably only been to one or two family events where my second/third cousins were present. Seems like its the same for ranveer and sonam, they may have attended some bday parties as children, but they didn't grow up knowing each other very well and weren't close

So this thread has come to conclusion that "Ranveer is a Certified Nepo Kid" 👏 👍🏼

Now that Ranveer has given back to back DISASTERs, only Kjo or YRF can save his sinking career.
