Prologue...

Geet Handa, freshly graduated from college, no big plans of career, just an innocent girl wishing to settle down in life with a loving and caring partner of her choice while her family has other plans for her, marry an NRI of their choice.

Maninder Handa, very affectionate father, only person to support Geet, he let Geet go out to Delhi for pursuing her UG degree

Darji, Geet's grandpa, family pride comes above anything else for him, feels that Geet is a spoilt child, getting undue pampering from her father

Rano, typical Indian bahu, respects Darji but loves her daughter very much

Hoshiarpur, Handa house

The whole family is excited, after a lot of struggle they have finally found a match for their beti, that too an NRI from Canada.

He is coming to meet Geet tommorrow

Rajji runs up to convey the good news to Geet

Darji's single word makes her go silent

She moves slowly without making any noise, after entering Geet's room she closes the door and looks around for Geet

Geet is still sleeping, dreaming about her prince charming

Geet is annoyed, she is upset that Rajji disturbed her lovely dream

Geet is very excited...

Geet snatches the photo and looks at it...she keeps staring at the photo...

Mohinder comes to inform his daughter about he boy...

Geet: papaji, mujhe abhi shadhi nahi karni

Mohinder: Geet, ye ladhka bahut bade kandan ka hai, aur Canada mein uska kudh ka business hai, unke family yahi hai Chandigarh mein, aur tum wahan bahut kush reh sakthi

Geet: papaji, aap toh mere achche dosth ho, aur aap janthe haina ki mujhe ye shadhi kyun nahi karni?

Mohinder: Geet, tummare papaji kabhi tummare marzi ke khilaf koi kaam nahi karenge, samji tum? Tu bas kal uss bande se millo, baad jeeth karo aur phir hum shadhi ke barein mein baat karthe hai, teek hai

Geet: papaji, mujhe kissi se nahi milna hai, aur koi shadhi wadhi nahi karni

Rano just enters...

Rano: kyun nahi karni?

Geet: nahi karni toh nahi karni

Rano: Geet, ab tum bachi nahi ho, samji?

Geet: wahi toh mein bhi kehthi hoon, ab mein badi ho gayi hoon aur apne shadhi ke faisla mein kudh kar sakthi

Rano gets angry...

Rano: dekho ji, kaise batein karthi hai aapki ladhli?

Mohinder: Rano, bachi haina?

Rano: bachi? Ye aapko ullu bana rahi hai, hare babaji, patha nahi ki inko kab samaj mein aayega ki ye ladhki itni bhi boli nahi hai

Mohinder: Rano, tum jao, mein Geet se baat kartha hoon

Rano: koi faida nahi, aapki beti kab aapki baat ko manthi?

Geet: papaji, aap toh mujhe samjthe haina?

Rano: dekho ji, aap jao aur ladhkewalon se kehdo ki kal hum tayaar rahenge

Geet: maa?

Rano: tu chup kar, tu kuch nahi jaanthi, Darji ko patha chaltha ki tum kaise batein karthi ho toh patha nahi kya hoga, sunoji, aap sabse kehdo ki Geet bhi bahut kush hai, mein issko teek se samjathi hoon

Geet: mujhe kya samajna hai, samajna toh aap logon ko hai

Rano: Geet, iss bar tummari nautanki nahi chalegi, chup chap sojao, kal jaldhi utna hai, aur haan, koi tamasha kada mat karna

Geet thinks about her future...she knows very well that her future is not in this remote village or some distant country...her future is in Mumbai...yes, the dream city...

Next morning...Rajji comes to wake Geet...

Rajji: Geet didi

But Geet is not in the room...she has absconded...

She has set out to her dream land... Mumbai...

And the family too know that this time there is no way to stop her...

Luckily her childhood friend Pinky is in Mumbai and whenever Geet goes to Mumbai she stays with her...Mohinder calls Pinky and informs about Geet...

But Pinky didn't receive any news from Geet about her Mumbai arrival this time...and her mobile is also switched off...now the Handa family is a little worried...

Ab iss pagal ladhki ko kahan dhoonde? Aur patha nahi iss bar kaunsi nayi bhoot nikhlega...babaji, hummari Geet ka rakhsha karna...

Geet just lands at the CT station...

After he took over KC it's been growing leap and bounds ...

As you know his Dadi won't let him like this for long...

She wants him to get married and have someone with whom he can spend the rest of his life, someone to take the vacant space that Dadi would leave, she knows that though her grandson may seem to be very tough on the outside, he is still very delicate in the inside...

She knows that the outer iron armor that he uses to shield his inner self is not strong enough and that one day some girl would break it and take over his world...

She has been waiting for that girl...and now she knows she has found one...

Part - 1

At KC...

Maan is ready and is waiting for Adi...

Aaj koi important meeting hai...

Adi is still struggling to get to KM...he is strangled amidst heavy traffic...

Maan calls him...the phone rings...

Adi is scared...he knows it's his angry boss calling...

Maan hates any delay and that too when it comes to any new project...

Adi knows very well that Maan would be furious after waiting for so long...

But the long line of vehicles in front of him doesn't seem to be moving at all...

Hare bhai tum logon ko kaam pe nahi jaana hai kya?

Lucky that they don't have a boss like MSK...

So they are just enjoying the morning breeze and some are even out relishing the Mumbai breakfast...Vada pav ...

Had it been any other day Adi would have been happy munching some but not today...

And the siren is ringing...

Adi attends the call with all respect...

Adi: good morning sir

Maan: morning? Adi, where are you?

Adi: mein yahi hoon sir

Maan: what do you mean yahi? I can't find you here?

Adi: I'm here sir, just 5 mins, babaji,ye Mumbai ka traffic

Maan: don't blame the traffic, why can't you start early?

Adi: sorry sir

Maan: Adi, I'm going to KC, you bring the files there

Adi wonders that how the hell would he get out of this mess and take a U-turn to KC...

Maan: Adi, do you get it? Come to KC, now

Adi prays to god that he gets there in time...

Dadi just comes down ...

Dadi: Maan, aaj itne jaldhi?

Maan: thanks Dadi, toh mein chaltha hoon

Nakul comes with his black coffee...

Maan stares him...is this the time for coffee?

Nakul has totally forgot that Maan reminded him about his early breakfast last night...

Maan : ye tum hi aaram se beitke piyo

Nakul blinks...

Dadi tries to make some sandwich...

But Maan has already left with an empty stomach...

This didn't help his already karab mood...

He steps out of KM and the car is ready for him...

He finds the driver missing...his anger rises to new high...

He blows the horn and the driver comes running...

He doesn't wait for the driver either and leaves for KC driving himself...

The driver who had been chatting with the security already knew that this is his last day at work...

What a bad start?

Hope this doesn't affect his work today...

But it's going to be a tough day for everyone at KC...

Or maybe they are lucky for someone has come to their rescue already...Geet Handa...

Yes, it's Geet's turn today ...she had come to Mumbai just now and is already getting ready to face her fate...ill fate?

Geet is in Mumbai...getting closer to her destined love, MSK...

So, after arriving at the CT, Geet wanders in the streets of Mumbai not knowing where to start her mission...she is definitely not going to seek Pinky's help this time...

After the couple of visits she is confident that she can handle this city on her own...

Afterall she had done her graduation in Delhi and Mumbai is no different, haina babaji?

So Geet, don't you worry, you are the lioness of Punjab, you can't be scared of these Mumbaikars...

You have decided that your future lies in this very city and so there is no use getting scared of it...

If you want to catch the shark you have to get into the ocean first, haina?

And Geet is not here for any ordinary shark she is here for the killer shark...

And she also knows that it's not an easy task, she needs to be strong and determined...

Get ready guys...here comes Geet Handa ...

Maan is already crazy after that delay and the hunger fuels his anger...

He is driving like he is in a F1 race...

And his mind is occupied by the thoughts of his new project that he lacks concentration for a fraction of a second and he finds a girl straight away running into his car, Maan blows the horn as loud as possible and tries to apply the brakes, luckily he just stops the car almost hitting that girl...

Maan is relieved that he had avoided an accident...

He looks out and finds the girl missing...

Maan is puzzled and all of a sudden a huge crowd sorrounds his car...

Everyone is demanding him to get down...

Bahar aao...iss aamir logon ka toh yahi kaam hai...

Bechari ko lagi toh nahi...koi pani lao...jaldhi...

That girl has fainted and the mob is venting it's frustrations on Maan...

Maan knows that it's his fault too, had he been a little more alert he could have stopped behind...

But now that he had just stopped at the right time and still why is this girl lying still...

Is she acting? You know these people will do anything for money...

Maan is thinking on this line while someone throws water on the girls face, but she is still unconscious...

Maan realizes that she is really in trouble and he makes his way thru the crowd towards her... he finds a young innocent girl lying there unconscious not knowing what's going on around her...

The angry mob tries to hit Maan...

But MSK's glare keeps them away...

He moves closer and looks at the poor girl...

He bends down, picks her up and takes her to his car...

And instead of driving to KC MSK drives to the City hospital forgetting his important project...

Adi reaches KC and is surprised that he had made it to KC before Maan?

Everyone is waiting for Maan who is unusually late today...

Adi thinks that Maan too has fallen victim to Mumbai's traffic...

But no one knew that their boss has almost forgotten KC...

MSK has accidentally discovered a new life, entirely different from the one he lives, he is going to experience a life full of love, and would never be able to get out of this lovely world even though it's not his preference right now...

Yes, he had just run over Geet Handa, the love of his life...

And Geet is here just for this, haina babaji?

At Sanjeevani...

Maan rushes to the reception ...

He calls his friend...

Here comes his friend...surprised to see MSK here...very unusual...

MSK at the hospital...that too in office hours...

Something must be wrong...else he won't be here...

His friend is a bit worried...maybe Maan has got some problem...

"Maan, tum yahan? Sab teek toh haina?"

"woh..."

"Maan, what's wrong? Tummari tabyat toh teek haina?"

"haan"

"phir? Aaj KC ki chutti hai kya? "

"what? I'm on my way"

" toh phir tujhe meri yaad kaise aayi?"

"woh...mein"

That's when they take the girl in...

"ye kaun hai?"

"woh koi pagal ladhki hogi, she fell into my car"

"what? You knocked her down?"

"are you kidding? That stupid girl crashed into my car "

"MSK kaise galat ho saktha? Bechari ka hi galthi hogi? Haina ? Mr.khurana?"

"tum ye sawaal usse kyun nahi poochthi?"

Sameera gets angry...

Sameera is Maan's childhood friend and is a psychiatrist here...

Sam: ye bechari toh behosh hai

Maan: maybe she fainted b'coz she is frightened

Sam: MK, this is all your fault

Maan: what? My fault? Agar mein alert nahi hotha toh ye shayad zinda nahi hothi"

Sam: so you saved her, haan?

Maan: I'm getting late

Maan calls Adi...

Maan: yes Adi, I'm coming

Maan starts walking away...

But Sam stops him...

Sam: Mr.Khurana, aap aaise issko iss halat mein chodke nahi ja sakthe

Maan: Sam, my client is waiting

Sam: toh iss bechari ka kya?

Maan: how would I know? Jab ye hosh mein aathi toh apne aap ghar chale jayegi

Sam: MK, have some courtesy, you just ran over her and you should take the responsibility, come on yaar, itna insaniyat toh hona chahiye...

Maan: kya? Sam, she just jumped into my way madly, maybe she tried to commit suicide, pagal ladhki, you better be careful, aaise pagalon ka kuch barosa nahi

Sam: MK, she is not insane, I think you are insane

Maan: tum isko janthe bhi nahi aur mein pagal ho gaya?

Sam laughs...

Sam: tum bahar wait karo, mein abhi aathi hoon, tumme abhi patha chalega ki kaun pagal hai?

Maan: Sam, mujhe bahut kaam hai, tum haina, tum issko sambalo, issiliye toh mein tere paas aaya hoon, bye

Sam can't stop him...and this girl is looking good, nothing serious...

Maybe Maan is right, she fainted just b'coz of the sudden shock...

That girl slowly gains her conscious and looks scared...

"mein kahan hoon?"

Sam: halo, feeling better?

"aap? Mein yahan kaise aayi?"

Sam: tum behosh ho gayi thi

"oouch..."

She holds her head and she is in pain...She faints again...

Sam is afraid that this could be serious...

She calls the senior doctors and they suggest a CT scan...

Sam stays with her for she looks so innocent and maybe she is new to Mumbai...

Luckily everything is fine...maybe she is a little weak...

She will be fine in a couple of days...

As the girl lies on the hospital bed Sam stays by her side all the day long...

She kind of likes her and feels that she should take care of her for she has landed into trouble b'coz of MSK...so the responsibility falls on her now...

Sam waits for her to wake up...

It's been four hours and she is still fast asleep...

Sam didn't want to disturb her...

She slowly opens her eyes...

She is happy to see Sam...she recognizes her ...

She smiles at Sam...

Sam: hai...are you OK?

"haan"...she nods her head...

Sam: I'm Sam

"mein... Geet Handa"

Sam: nice meeting you Geet

Geet: aap mujhe kaise jaanthe?

Sam: woh tum meri patient ho, I'm your Dr

Geet: kya? Mein kahan hoon? Mujhe kya hua?

Sam: hare, gabrane ki koi baat nahi, tum teek ho, bas thoda sa chakkar aagaya

She holds her head with her hands...

Sam: bahut dard hotha hai kya?

Geet: haan

Sam: tum kahan rehthi ho?

She tries to recall...

Geet: mujhe kuch yaad kyun nahi aathi?

Sam: what?

Geet: hum kahan hai?

Sam: ye Mumbai hai

Gee't's face brightens hearing this...

Geet: Mumbai? Mein Mumbai mein hoon?

Sam: haan, tum yahan kissiko jaanthi ho?

Geet remembers Pinky but doesn't want to tell anything about her...

Geet: woh haan, I have friends here

Sam: shall we inform them?

Geet: nahi, mein chali jaoongi

Geet tries to get up...but she is too weak and is about to fall...

Sam holds her...

Sam: sambalke Geet, tum abhi kahin nahi jaa sakthi

Geet: par mein teek hoon

Sam: yahan mein doctor hoon, aur jab tak mein nahi kehthi tum yahan se jaa nahi sakthi, samji

Sam pretends to be angry...

Geet: tum bahut achchi ho

Sam: tum kuch khaogi?

Geet: haan, mujhe bahut bhook lagthi hai

Sam orders some roti...

They have their dinner together...

Geet: thanks, patha nahi mein tumme kaise thank karoon?

Sam: friends?

Geet smiles...haan, you are such a nice friend

Sam: toh Geet, gud night, tum aaram karo, hum kal milthe hai

Geet: gud night

Geet looks a little worried...

Sam: don't worry, yahan sab mere dhost hi hai, they will take good care of you

Geet looks satisfied by that...

At KM...

Maan is having his dinner with Dadi...

Maan: Dadi, aap koi baat karna chahathe the?

Dadi: haan bte, Mr.Khanna called me, aap ke shadhi ke barein mein kuch baat karna chahthe

Maan is not interested at all...

Maan: hmm

Dadi: toh hum panditji se baat karthe hai

Maan: hmm

Dadi: Maan bte, ye aapki shadhi hai

Maan: par Dadi ye aapki qwaaish hai

Dadi: Maaan?

Maan: I'm sorry Dadi, mujhe isske barein mein zyada jaankari nahi, aap jaise bhi karna chahe kar sakthe hai

Dadi: hum nahi chahathe ki aap apne aap ko iss shadhi se itna dhoor rakhe, come on Maan bte, this is your life, your wedding

Maan gives a sarcastic look...

Dadi: ye hummari ichcha hai, par aap bhi yahi chahathe haina?

Maan: Dadima, mein sirf aapko kush dekhna chahatha hoon, aur aap jo bhi karthe hai mere bhalayi ke liey hi karthe haina?

Maan tries to look happy...

But Dadi knows that he is still not ready for this marriage...

Kya karein? Dadi is desperate...ab Maan ki shadhi Sam ke saath nahi ho sakthi toh Maan ki shahdi kabhi nahi ho sakthi, Maan just hates women and always wants to be on his own...since Sam is his childhood friend and his only Girl Friend(?) Maan agreed to this marriage.

Sam is madly in love with him, and he had been avoiding this pyaar issue for a long time. But now neither Dadi nor Sam is ready to hear a no from him, they had took his prolonged silence as his yes and started the wedding preparations.

Dadi is more interested in this wedding than Sam for she knows Maan better than anyone else...aaise zabardasthi shadhi karwana hi sahi hai, warna Maan kabhi shadhi ke barein mein nahi sochenge...

Maan knows that though marriage is not his cup of tea ,this would bring happiness in Sam's life, Dadi too likes her very much...

Maan would eventually start loving her(?)...you know there is this love marriage and also this love after marriage, haina?

Maan would try the later as it's his only choice as of now...

Dadi looks a bit worried thinking about Maan's future...

Maan:Dadi

Dadi is still lost in her thoughts...

Maan realizes that she is only worried about him, he just wants to see her happy...

Dadi is surprised...

Maan smiles...

Maan: hare Dadi, aap fikar mat kijiye, mein Adi se kehke panditji ko bhulatha hoon

Dadi: nahi bte, ye kaam toh hum kudh karna chahenge, hum bas abhi panditji se baat karthe hai

Maan : toh Dadima, ab toh mujhe jaana chahiye, Sam bhi mujhse milna chahathi thi

Dadi is very happy now...

Dadi: OK bte, Sam se kahiye ki hum unko kal milna chahthe hai

Maan: ji Dadi

Maan wahan se escape hotha...

Sam calls...

Maan: haan bolo

Sam: tum kahan ho?

Maan: abhi abhi ghar se nikal raha hoon

Sam: tum jaldhi aao, papa tumara intrezar kar rahe hai

Maan: haan, mein aatha hoon

At Sam's place...

Sam is getting ready to go to the hospital...

She is still worried about Geet...

Hope she is fine now...

She is so scared to stay at the hospital alone...

No news about her family...

Kissiko toh uskke saath hona chahiye haina?

Somehow Sam likes her very much...

She is too sweet...and is so innocent...

Sams comes fast...

Khanna: hare itni bhi kya jaldhi hai? Abhi toh shadhi ki dates fix karna hai, aur mandap book karna hai, yeh toh bahut mushkil kaam hai, aur kitna kaam hai

Sam: Dad, aap mujhe ullu toh nahi bana rahe hai

Khanna: tum isse hi poochlo,I'm going to KM

Sam: sachi?

Sam is so excited, she looks at Maan...

Maan toh khanna ko hi dekh raha tha...

Khanna: toh mein chaltha hoon, you people carry on

He smiles at sam and leaves...

Sam: wow MK, finally tum bhi tayaar ho gaye ho?

Maan: warna tum mujhe chain se jeene nahi dethi

Sam: toh ye tum mere liye kar rahe ho?

Sam is disappointed...

Maan: aaise nahi hai

Sam: toh phir kaise?

Maan: tumme patha haina ki mujhe aaise mamle mein koi interest nahi hai

Sam: what? Mr.Khurana, ye koi khel nahi hai, shadhi hai shadhi!

Maan: see, tum log shahdi ko lekhe itne emotional kyun hothe ho?

Sam: OK Mr.Robot , ye aap ki bas ki baat nahi hai, mein Dadi se hi baat karthi hoon

Maan: ye teek hai, Dadi bhi tumse milna chahethe hai

Sam: teek hai, ab tum mujhe drop kar sakthe ho ya nahi?

Maan: waise mujhe ek zaroori kaam hai, par mujhe lagtha hai ki mein tumme rasthe mein chod saktha

Sam: that won't do, you are coming with me to the hospital

Maan: Sam, mujhe KC jaana hai, tum taxi se chale jao

Sam: what? MK, tumme patha bhi hai ki uss ladhki ki haalat kaisa hai

Maan: ladhki? Kaunsi ladhki?

Sam: tum bhool gaye ho?

Maan: Sam, mein tummare patients ko kaise yaad rak saktha?
