I have heard waise shooting for daily soaps in India is very tough..even older actors find it hard.

Yes it is very tough. They have to do 12-14 hour shifts every day. Most of them don't even get Sundays off. They work on tight deadlines. 5 episodes every week so that is like making a movie in a week. Very hectic and hard work is involved.

I mean ITV is not great content-wise but the efforts these people put in are praiseworthy. That's why sometimes I feel bad putting down any show even if it is crappy.

Actually its nothing new.....if you have seen sasural simar ka the lead actress avika gor was 13 i think while the actor manish raisinghani was 32 when they did the show and they played husband and wife...19 years difference
