All Dadi wants is for her children to stay together & with her.

Kaira moved away for 30 days & she almost died of grief. Gayu's family was supposed to move to Mumbai permanently (or at least long term) & no one lost a drop of sweat over it. In fact, everyone was treating it like an upgrade for Samarth.

I still don't get why Gayu's concerns are being presented as unfair. The writing of this show has gone to the dogs.

Exactly. They never show any of the goenkas ( except gayi) care about vansh and his recovery. Krishna isn't treated well either. Infact dadi doesn't even seem to care much about Luv kush. She didn't go mad when they went to jail. But if kittu and kairav go away even for 30 days , she loses it. Dadi would have killed gayu and vansh, if kairav said that vansh pushed him off the roof. Nobody would have believed vansh then. Gayu's insecurities aren't unjustified. She should actually leave this mad family.

Dadi's overreaction is so stupid. Kaira just went to Mumbai, not to space. Why in the world was she behaving like the world ended or something? 🤪

I think the makers always planned to show Gayu's genuine concerns in a negative way. But their plan backfired and many supported Gayu. So now they are making her completely irrational so that she won't get any sympathy. Most of Gayu's concerns were very genuine. But Goenkas are behaving as if she did a sin or something.

Makers have a very screwed sense of morality. Naira running away all the time is portrayed as completely OK and she is applauded for her greatness. Whereas people who stood by the family in all the bad times are portrayed as villains. Now they will further deteriorate Gayu's character so that Naira get all the sympathy.
