Pretty Powerful PadMan Award: Sonam Kapoor and Twinkle Khanna felicitate hygiene champions

Mumbai: Pad Man stars Akshay Kumar and Sonam Kapoor and is set to release on February 9. Sonam Kapoor has been invited by the multiplex chain with regards to their She's Ambassador Program', launched last year in the presence of Dr. Nadir Patel, Canadian High Commissioner. Also Twinkle Khanna has attended the event with Sonam.

"Based on hygiene, health and wellbeing and using cinema as a medium for learning, the program is in tandem with the actress's to-be-released movie. In its endeavour to felicitate young girls who have championed the spheres of health and hygiene and honouring them with Pretty Powerful PadMan Award, PVR Nest fittingly invited the gorgeous actress to grace the initiative, said an insider.

Sonam's said, "These young girls who have championed the cause of health and hygiene deserve to be recognized for their contributions and I hope this sets an example

Recently, Sonam along with the director R. Balki and Twinkle Khanna visited schools to interact with school girls and distributed packets of sanitary pads among them.
