Kushagre Dua calls his ACP mother His “Superwoman”on Mother’s Day

Kushagre Dua, who is currently winning appreciation for his role as Vikrant “Vicky” Thakur in Kyunki Rishton Ke Bhi Roop Badalte Hai, opened up about his close bond with his mother ahead of Mother’s Day.

Kushagre Dua, who is currently winning appreciation for his role as Vikrant “Vicky” Thakur in Kyunki Rishton Ke Bhi Roop Badalte Hai, opened up about his close bond with his mother ahead of Mother’s Day. The actor spoke emotionally about how his mother, Mrs Chander Kanta, an Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) with the Delhi Police, has played an important role in shaping both his personal life and his professional journey.

Kushagre shared that having a senior police officer as a mother has always filled him with pride and admiration. According to the actor, his mother has been his biggest inspiration and a true superwoman for balancing her demanding profession with family responsibilities.

Speaking about her, Kushagre said, “Having a senior police officer as a mother brings unique pride. She is my inspiration and superwoman, viewing her as a strong, dedicated figure who successfully and very easily balances protecting the community with raising us and taking care of the family.”

The actor further explained how his mother remained deeply committed to her duties despite the challenges that came with her position. He shared that her profession often involved late-night emergency calls, high-risk assignments, and long working hours, yet she always made sure to spend quality time with her family.

He added, “She's always committed to her duty, the demands that comes with her post—such as late-night emergency calls, high-risk assignments, and long working hours but still she makes sure to spend time with us and make us feel loved.”

Kushagre Credits His Mother for His Strong Values

Kushagre also revealed that there is still a lot he wants to learn from his mother. He spoke about how she raised him with discipline while always motivating him to chase his dreams and live life on his own terms.

The actor shared, “There is a lot I'm yet to learn from her. She raised me with high discipline, but always motivated me to live a life and achieve my dreams.”

Speaking further about the values his mother taught him, Kushagre expressed gratitude for the strong foundation she provided him as he grew up. According to him, her teachings about resilience, kindness, gratitude, independence, and self-love continue to guide him in life.

He said, “I'm thankful to her for providing a foundation for a happy life by teaching essential, long-lasting values like resilience, kindness, and self-love. Her guidance likely emphasizes independence, gratitude, and nurturing strong connections, which experts identify as core pillars for lasting happiness and mental wellness.”

The actor also admitted that the lessons and discipline his mother instilled are helping him manage life in Mumbai while pursuing his acting career. Kushagre shared that her teachings made him hardworking and taught him never to give up, which continues to help him overcome personal and professional challenges.

He explained, “She made me hardworking, never give up attitude, she raised me with a lot of good teachings and the ability to navigate complex challenges, though I have tweaked few things in my life with keeping her values my primary agenda which is why I'm more of a street smart.”

Kushagre further added that his mother’s upbringing prepared him for success in every aspect of life. He credited her for helping him become mentally strong and emotionally balanced while chasing his dreams in the entertainment industry.

He said, “I would thank her for ultimately preparing me for both personal and professional success.”

Kushagre Reveals His Mother’s Day Plans

Talking about how he plans to celebrate Mother’s Day, which is observed on the second Sunday of May, Kushagre revealed that despite living in different cities and being busy with work commitments, he and his mother make sure to stay connected every day.

The actor shared that his mother is currently in Delhi while he is in Mumbai, making it difficult for them to celebrate together physically this year. However, he plans to make the day special through a surprise video call celebration.

He revealed, “She is in the capital and I'm in mumbai and both of us are busy with our commitments and cannot afford off from our work. That's why like everyday we will connect on video call. I will surprise her with a cake, flowers and sweets.”

Apart from Kyunki Rishton Ke Bhi Roop Badalte Hai, Kushagre Dua has been part of several television shows including Naagin 7, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Yeh Hai Chahatein, Divya Drishti, and many others.
