With MPB Flopping , Pari's career is in a very bad phase , Shraddha is never a great actress but her luck with box office has taken a back seat .

Among other b listers who debuted with her illeana, Huma or Yami , their career never really took off .

Is it some conspiracy of Kjo or Their bad luck they are Alia's contemporary because Alia is such a great talent ?

This is no bashing thread , I Personally loved her in DZ

i know this thread will have pages and pages of alia bashing

but kjo is not the reason behind parineeti receiving mixed reviews for her acting for MPB..majority of reviews did not find her acting upto the mark

also kjo is not the reason the movie opened at 1.75cr..i am sure he didn't pay audience to not see pari that too after 3 years

he is also not the reason for her to pick MPB with a half baked role..she was waiting for 3 years..could have waited more than choosing a movie where she barely had a role

he supports alia..i agree..he has massive contribution to her career..i agree..but he is not the reason alia has acted the way she has in movies like UP or DZ..and he is also not the reason the audience are liking her..no one till date has had that kinda power or else arbaaz and sohail be superstars today..

alia is way ahead and may be 10% of that credit should also be given to her acting and the fact that audience like her..give 90% to kjo..i said it..but parineeti has more to blame herself and losing her marbles and focus than any one else..

I completely agree with you , But all these actresses are doing whatever is left out of Alia

K Jo or any one else for that matter cannot bring audience to the theatre

At the end of the day, it all boils down to who the audience likes to watch. Kjo can only help Alia get a film but he cannot possibly bring the large number of audience who enjoys watching her on screen! Not denying that he favors her but also we cannot undermine Alia's talent! The girl is great at what she does, has amazing screen presence & ACTS well!

MPB is a really bad film. N Pari seems to have lost her track unfortunately.

Shraddha is a pathetic actress though she is beautiful looking. But she is totally bland on screen!

So among all of them, Alia is clearly miles ahead!

As an audience, I buy tickets for ALL Alia movies and no one else from the current lot.

And KJo has nothing to do with that decision. Alia's screen presence, acting and story is what I pay for. Yes occasionally I regret watching movies like Shandaar, but that's about it.

For other heroines, I have to really do a lot of research before buying tickets. And this credibility what Alia has now, is earned by her, not bought.

She is way way ahead of her contemporaries even the likes of Deepika/Anushka. She has a long way to go and I am sure she wont disappoint 🥳

Nobody has ever denied that alia is talented... I'm one of the Loud ones when it comes to nepotism... But no one has ever denied that alia is very good...

As for contemporaries, we sorely need more talent... Its obvious the current lot is not working for the audience...

But KJo offered Parineeti some film Mr and Mrs Tapori opposite Ranbir Kapoor which was his own directorial. For that Parineeti rejected UP and Piku. The actresses of both movies won Best Actress. He later never made that film and instead made that ADHM and there was no sign of Parineeti in it. Coincidence much?

Shraddha Kapoor gets really bad films...its her good luck so that they worked when no one expected them too. But how long does luck hold? Yami, Ileana never really had a chance.
