Anupamaa: Prem hides Prerna's truth from Rahi, recalls her plea

In tonight's Anupamaa episode, Gautam’s remarks leave Prem visibly disturbed. His calm exterior fades as his thoughts spiral, and Rahi immediately senses that something is not right. She gently asks him why he seems so upset and tells him how much she missed him. Prem admits that he missed her just as deeply, but his uneasiness refuses to go unnoticed. Rahi studies his expression and directly asks whether he is keeping something from her. At that moment, Prem remembers Prerna urging him not to disclose the truth to Rahi, which only deepens his inner conflict.

Rahi refuses to brush the matter aside. She says she had an unsettling feeling the previous night and is convinced that something significant must have happened. Pressed further, Prem finally confesses that an incident did take place. However, instead of revealing the real issue, he pulls Rahi into an embrace and blames his tension on the investor not responding. Rahi tries to calm him down, telling him that such business setbacks are minor and not worth the stress. Prem, however, asks her whether she truly believes it is such a small issue, hinting that there is more beneath the surface.

Rahi begins to connect the dots and wonders whether Gautam and Mahi were teasing Prem about the same matter. Determined to clear things up, she decides to confront them. Prem quickly stops her and assures her that he would never intentionally cross a line or betray her trust. He asks if she has faith in him. Without hesitation, Rahi says she trusts him completely. She requests him to explain everything clearly and even defends Prerna, suggesting that she might simply be focused on work and nothing more.

Prem admits that he does want to address certain unresolved matters but once again seeks reassurance from Rahi. He questions her about whether she truly believes he would never hide anything important from her. Rahi repeats that she has full confidence in him, standing firmly by his side.

Meanwhile, a major confrontation unfolds elsewhere. Kriti gathers Vasundhara, Parag, and other family members and displays an injury on her body. She accuses Kapil of physically hurting her. Vasundhara immediately believes Kriti’s claim, while Prem expresses disbelief, questioning how Kapil could raise his hand on her in front of everyone. Parag’s anger escalates quickly.

Kapil steps forward and locks eyes with Anupama, silently signaling that he has evidence. As Parag moves to slap him, Kapil insists he has proof and attempts to show a video recording. Parag dismisses his claim, stating there is no such video, and strikes him anyway. In the background, Kriti recalls deleting the footage earlier, believing she had erased all evidence. Anupama intervenes just in time and prevents Parag from attacking Kapil further.

Anupama then turns to Kriti and says she has never come across someone like her. Kriti, confused and defensive, asks what she means. Anupama responds sarcastically, saying she meant a woman who silently tolerates violence, and commends the Kothari family for taking a stand against abuse. She firmly states that whoever is guilty must face consequences. Kriti grows visibly anxious.

In a shocking twist, Anupama plays the video that clearly shows Kriti assaulting Kapil. The room falls silent as the truth comes to light. She reveals that she had asked Kapil to send her the recording beforehand as a precaution. Vasundhara refuses to accept what she sees and argues that she personally witnessed Kapil lifting his hand. Kriti quickly claims that the footage has been manipulated. Anupama calmly counters that a forensic examination can easily verify whether the video is authentic and questions whether Kriti assumes everyone is naïve.

Anupama then asks Kapil to sit down with dignity and not feel ashamed. Vasundhara objects, telling Anupama not to interfere in their household issues. Anupama firmly replies that domestic violence is not a private matter limited to one family. She explains that while laws rightly protect women, there are cases where those laws are misused. She highlights that men like Kapil, who endure abuse, rarely receive justice or support.

In the precap, Vasundhara continues to deny that Kapil was a victim of abuse. Anupama reveals Kapil’s injuries as evidence and states that justice does not depend on gender. She declares that wrongdoing remains wrong, whether the victim is a man, a woman, or even an animal.
