Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Maira feels Abhira's absence in her life

In tonight's Anupamaa episode, the courtroom verdict finally arrives, and custody is granted to Abhira. The decision, however, brings her no peace. Instead of relief, she is left shattered, breaking down as the weight of the situation sinks in.

A year passes, but the distance between Abhira and her daughter only grows deeper. Desperate and emotionally exhausted, Abhira approaches Armaan and pleads with folded hands, asking him to let her see Maira just once. She begs him not to keep a mother away from her child. Armaan remains unmoved. He coldly tells her that her tears no longer affect him. In fact, he admits that seeing her only fuels his anger.

Abhira insists that she has not seen Maira ever since they were separated and cannot bear the pain anymore. Armaan responds harshly, saying that Maira herself does not wish to see her. He questions Abhira about her absence during the time when Maira needed her the most. He reminds her that their daughter still struggles with the belief that Abhira chose another child over her. Armaan also points out the court order, which clearly restricts her from meeting him.

In a dramatic turn, Maira suddenly spots Abhira. Overwhelmed, Abhira rushes toward her, hoping to hug her after so long. But Maira pushes her away and runs onto the road in panic. A speeding vehicle approaches, and in a terrifying moment, Armaan leaps forward and pulls Maira to safety. Abhira once again tries to get closer to her daughter, but Armaan blocks her path. He accuses her of causing further emotional damage and claims that her presence only brings distress into Maira's life. He even calls her a bad influence and warns her to stay away. Heartbroken, Abhira asks Maira if she truly feels the same. Maira, visibly shaken, tells Armaan she wants to go home as she is not feeling well. Armaan takes her away, leaving Abhira frozen in shock and pain.

Later, Abhira reflects on how her attempt to reconnect failed miserably. She approaches Vidya, hoping for some support and asking if there is any way she can meet Maira. Vidya gently but firmly explains that Maira's psychologist has advised against any more emotional triggers. She reminds Abhira of how Maira ran away during their last encounter. Abhira struggles to accept this reality.

Vidya then tells her that if she truly loves her daughter, she must think about Maira's well-being above her own longing. Sometimes love means stepping back. She advises Abhira to avoid meeting Maira for now, as another confrontation could worsen her trauma.

Deeply hurt yet determined, Abhira swears that she will never forgive the person responsible for separating her from Maira. She resolves to reclaim her rights and fight for her bond with her daughter.

Meanwhile, in Armaan's house, Maira is seen packing her bag. She realises she needs innerwear but feels too shy to say it aloud. Armaan notices her hesitation and asks what she is looking for. He assures her that she can tell him anything and he will arrange it.

Embarrassed, Maira avoids the topic and instead asks him to pack snacks. Armaan playfully says he will fill her bag with treats. Quietly, without making her uncomfortable, he adds sanitary pads to her bag, understanding her growing needs. He reflects that no matter how much he tries, there are moments in a girl's life when she needs her mother. Later, Armaan lightens the mood by suggesting an ice cream party with the family.

Maira later searches online for innerwear options, still unsure how to handle the situation. At that moment, Vidya, Manisha, Tanya, and Kajal surprise her, sensing her discomfort.

On the other side, Abhira decides to take Mukti shopping for innerwear. Mukti feels awkward discussing it, but Abhira reassures her that such conversations are natural and there is nothing to feel ashamed about. She explains that as Mukti grows, her body will go through changes, and she must feel confident and informed. Abhira makes the experience warm and supportive.

Vidya soon learns that Maira had been searching online for similar things. Realising the need to step in, she, along with Kajal, Tanya, and Manisha, decides to take Maira shopping too.

However, Maira feels uneasy and overwhelmed by the attention. When Vidya asks her to try the new clothes, Maira becomes anxious and runs off to hide.

At the same time, Abhira senses Maira's presence nearby and silently thinks about the milestones she is missing in her daughter's life. Mukti thanks Abhira for making her feel comfortable during such a sensitive shopping trip. Unknowingly, Maira overhears Mukti expressing gratitude and feels a fresh wave of sadness. She wonders why her own mother is not beside her during these important moments. Unable to hold back her emotions, Maira breaks down.
