A Fool. What a story you've created Saiyu... so much angst... so much intensity... the helplessness... the desperation... the redemption... WOW.
Was reading it from the beginning from last few days... and trying to write a decent comment for last few hours... but seems like words left me... i dunno myself what I wanna say... whatever i say, won't be enough to express how much i loved AF... Last time when i was reading, i was liking it really a lot... but when i read it again, all of it at once, i got the impact of its intensity better... This is really overwhelming.
I really really loved Arnav here... yes, he was a fool, what he did was terrible, maafi ki layak nahi thay... but the way he repented, how he redeemed himself, the guilt, to the extent of not feeling himself worthy enough to ask for forgiveness... gosh, this was super intense...
throughout the story, i kept falling in love with him... from his flirting to his breakdown, i loved it all... this man is really admirable... a perfect brother, a perfect grandson, nd then a perfect husband... his means may not be always right, but his intentions were... nd this matters a lot...
he's so responsible, so thoughtful, then again in some instances he's like a kid, sometimes stubborn ones, sometimes afraid of losing something precious...
i dunno where i loved him more...
when he repented from far, so much that we can feel the pain...
when he decided to stop being a fool nd win her back...
when he flirted with her...
when he treated her family with so much respect & care...
when he trusted her in a blink...
when he tried to give her time & space...
when he reunite her mother with her lost son nd made her family complete...
when he declared the world about them nd stopped the evil remarks about her nd her family...
when he stopped her from going away...
when he left his heart bare in front of the girl he wronged so much...
when he went to her parents to ask her hand...
when he finally introduced her to the world...
When he took care of her with utmost care and affection...
or when he finally confessed his love and then declared her more than just his family...
I simply loved each and everything, like EVERYTHING of him.
Then its not only him, i equally loved khushi a lot... she's so loving, so caring, so compassionate, and most importantly, sooo strong... loved her sense of self respect... so protective she is to her family...
once ASR has made a fool of her, and she was determined to never let her guards down around him, ever...
she hated that man, yet she couldn't stop loving him... naa paas aasake, naa dur jaa sake... Agar pyaar innko kheeche, nafrat innko roke... how confusing things can be for her... yet she stood strong... and proved herself...
The farmhouse scenes were too beautiful... and that kiss... her initiating it made it much more beautiful...
i loved how repeatedly she made it clear that she doesn't want his guilt... how she agreed to get married only after she's sure of her feelings for him. And tell him in clear words what she thinks, what she wants...
Also she knows so well how to handle her Arnav ji... when to give space, nd when to draw the line...
that scene in last chapter, his manofying khushi after he hurt her... and how khushi forgave him saying he's only thode bure... its superb.
I really loved the understanding between them... they make a perfect couple together.
Another perfect couple are Mr & Mrs Shenoy... they both are amazing people... so cute and so loving... you haven't planned them beforehand!!! Thank god you make them a part of it, without them A Fool would've been incomplete.
As for Anjali, she was utterly selfish for her chote, but still we can relate... her brother means the world to her, and when it comes to his happiness, right or wrong doesn't matter to her... understandably so... What matters most is her heart is at the right place, she never mean harm for anybody ever... the ever so loving Di... And a good understanding wife too... she's a treat to watch...
Your shyams are always good, when i started the story i knew I'm gonna see a good Shyamji... but this shyam is much much better than only good... the way he found his mother after all those years, and eager to have a part of her family, this is really admirable... also his sense of responsibility, his care for his dear ones... his protectiveness for his family... he's a strong yet compassionate man... liked him a lot.
Now naniji... i simply adore this old woman... she's an amazing person... her love for her children, ability to understand them without words, and giving them the assurance they need at times with her wise words... loved it all...
Also the Gupta clan... they're ever so supportive and understanding... they always stood strong for their children, this is lovely... khushi really is lucky to have such an amazing family... and garima ji... my heart goes for the lady, her apprehension of accepting shyam was natural, i get it... loved her protectiveness for her daughters...
Enjoyed mama ji-mami ji's subtle presence, they might not always talked, but their presence were equally important with their time-to-time meaningful moments... nd Akash-Payal... how cute the kids are... they are adorable... it was fun to read about them.
