Ishita's POV

Lighting ho gayi...

Tables?! Aiyoo murgan... abhi tak saari tables pe covers nahi chade..

(Lightings done.. tables?! aiyoo murgan... the tables are yet to be covered..)

"Ashim! Ashim!" I called out.

"Yes, ma'am!" Ashim replied as he appeared from somewhere behind.

"Yeh kya? Abhi tak sare tables pe cover nahi chade...mehmaan aate honge! Jaldi kare..." I said.

(What is it? tables are not ready yet! guests can come any moment.. finish this faster)

Ashim looked around, "I am sorry... main abhi karva deta hu... paanch min lagenge bas! Achha aap please ek baar caterers' se baat kar lein." Ashim said as he moved towards his team.

(I am sorry ma'am.. I will make sure this is completed soon..! it will take not more than 5 mins... can you please go and talk to caterers?)

Ashim, yeh janaab manager hai uss event organizing team ke jinhe humne hire kiya hai, khair hire karne ka koi fyaada nahi hua... balki mera he kaam ulta badd gaya...

Kasam hai, agli dafa kuch bhi ho jaye.. main event management katai nahi karungi...

Chalo abb caterers' ko bhi dekh lete hai..

(Ashim, he is the manager of the event organizing team which we have hired.. anyways it was of no use..! Seriously, I wont take up this event management ever again... its a pain.. come on.. lets check on the caterers as well)

"Haan jee! Kya pareshaani hai?" I asked as I reached the spot where the manager of caterers' was standing along with few of the chefs. Apparently he was scolding the chefs there.

(Yeah.. whats the issue?)

"Kuch nahi ma'am bas chef ne dessert ke liye choco-vanilla cake bana diya hai, jabki maine inhe saaf saaf bataya tha ki choco-chip brownie banegi!" manager replied as he glared his team of chefs.

(Nothing much.. the chefs have prepared choco-vanilla cake instead of choco-chip brownies... although my instructions were very much clear!)

"Yeh toh problem ho gayi... aapne pehle dekhna chahiye tha na? Abb kya karenge?" I said with creases of worry.

(Oh no.. its a matter of worry now..you should have checked it beforehand.. now what? )

"Kuch nahi ma'am aap chinta mat kariye...choco-chip brownie he serve hogi...yeh log bana denge!" he replied.

(Please don't worry... we will serve brownies only... they will prepare it!)

"Aur jo ban gaya hai uska kya? Rehne dein... Choco-vanilla cake he serve kar dijiyega... khamakha waste hoga warna!" I replied.

(And what will you do with the cake then?! leave it.. serve the cake only.. there is no use of wasting the food)

The manager nodded as mumbled a sorry and directed his chefs' to be more careful in future.

I looked around, sab thik lag raha!

Murgan bas aaj ka function thik se karva de...uske baad kuch nahi chahiye...

(Everything looks fine...Murgan just make sure.. things go smoothly today.. I don't need anything after this!)

Aap log soch rahe honge ki main yeh kis party in tyaarion mein busy hu.. hai na?!

Main batati hu...meri company, yaani jis company mein main kaam karti hu, ussne ek bahout badi deal crack kari hai... yeh celebration issi khushi mein ho raha hai...

Humari company ke saare sponsors, high profile clients, management sab aayenge aaj... issiliye main nahi chahti ki koi bhi kami reh jaye..

Aur Raman sir ne itne trust ke saath mujhe yeh responsibility di hai... I don't want to let him down!

(you must be wondering with what all i am busy... okay let me tell you.. the company for which i work has cracked a big deal.. so this celebration is for that! all the sponsors, high profile clients are gonna be here.. that's why i don't want any kind of issues..and Raman sir has laid so much trust on me.i don't want to let him down..)

Then suddenly my eyes fell on a girl standing near the candles, Yeh yahan kya kar rahi hai?

(What is she doing here?)

"Anamika?!" I called her out!

"Ishita! Tum kitni pyaari lag rahi ho" she complimented me.

(Ishita you are looking so pretty!)

"Khair abb main itni bhi achhi nahi lag rahi tum batao, tum abhi tak tyaar kyu nahi hui?" I asked.

(Oh please.. its nothing.. why are you not ready huh?)

"Arre yaar.. these candles!" She said as she showed her the unlighted candles around.

"Chhodo isse yeh main karti hu... tum change kar aao!" I replied.

(Ohho... leave them.. i will do it! you go and change..)

"You sure?" she looked uncertain.

"Haan yaar... come on go!"

Ishita's POV

Murgan!! How can sumone be so handsome...?!

She saw him as soon as he entered the venue along with CEO... he was looking dangerously handsome in that white shirt and black trousers paired with a blazer.

She couldn't take her eyes off until she saw that he was too looking for her... she won't be able to meet his melting gaze!

Raman's POV

He was thanking everyone as politely as he could... But now it was getting on his nerves... he really needed to talk to her!

He finally managed to shoo everyone away... and started approaching her.

Ishita's POV

Kya woh meri taraf he aa rahe hai?

(Is he coming in my direction only?)

She asked herself as she saw him approaching her. Her heart began beating faster and faster and faster...

She could never realize when he had stated to affect her so much...

Raman's POV

He could sense her nervousness as she played with the corner of her dupatta...

I love it!!!

He finally reached near her... but he didn't want to spill the beans...

The proposal would be a surprise...!

And definitely not now!!
