"I hope you do not have a problem with our marriage." Yuvraj said to his would be wife Twinkle.
Their families have known each other for decades and they decided to turn their friendship into relationship by getting their children married.
Yuvraj is a 26 year old business tycoon who helps run the family business with his mother whereas Twinkle is 23 years old and had completed her MBA from IIM Ahemdabad.
"I do not have a problem with this alliance Yuvraj. I have faith in my mother and know she will always choose the best for me." She said, somewhat shyly.
Yuvraj smiled and said "Do you have any conditions or wishes about the marriage? Or anything you would like to do after the wedding?"
"I do want to work even after marriage. Not in Luthra Industries but somewhere where I can make my own identity, some place where I can stand on my own two feet."
Yuvraj was happy that his future wife wants to be independent but was doubtful of his mother's consent. However, he agreed to her wishes.
Twinkle was happy that she found a guy who understood her wishes. Although their relationship seemed to be lacking that swooning romance one often experiences at the start of any marriage, they both were happy and content. Their family's happiness mattered a lot to them.
"So shall we break the news to our folks? They must be waiting eagerly." Said Twinkle.
"Yeah, let's do it. Its time." Yuvraj said.
