Raman Kumar Bhalla: He is the CEO of a multinational company. He is the 29 year old single father of Ruhi. He puts up the face of an arrogant and uptight person to the world. But in front of his brothers and daughter, he shows his sweet and caring side. He only loves 2 things in the world; his daughter and his work. Raman was also once best friends with Ashok & Ishita, but now he hates them and avoids talking to them.
Ishita Khanna (nee Iyer) She is a dentist who runs her small clinic. She is an innocent and sweet person who wants to live a simple life, but isn't able to. Ishita is a very beautiful 29 year old woman. She has been married to Ashok Khanna for 4 years. After getting married to Ashok, she went to live with him in America. She seems like a very happy person on the outside, but is a sad and lonely person on the inside. She secretly wishes that her 2 best friends Raman and Shagun would talk to her again.
Ruhi Bhalla: Ruhi is the sweet and innocent daughter of Raman Bhalla. Ruhi is a sweet angel in front of her dad, but is a mischievous and naughty prankster when her uncles and friends are around. She loves her dad and doesn't like her mother.
Shagun Arora: She is an aspiring model. She is the 29 year old. She wants to life a very fancy and high class lifestyle. Shagun lives for herself and can go to any extent for money and fame. She was Ishita's best friend until Ishita married Ashok.
Ashok Khanna: He is the CEO of a multinational company in America. Ashok has a habit of winning and getting whatever he wants, when he wants it. He wants to live like a king. He is 29 years old and has been married to Ishita to 4 years. He was a huge flirt before marriage and although he claims to be a changed man, he can still be found in clubs flirting with young girls. He and Ishita are currently settled America. He was once really close to Raman, but now the two can't stand each other.
Mihika Iyer: She is Ishita's younger sister. She is 23 years old and is currently secretly dating Mihir. She cares a lot for Ishita and feels that Ashok isn't right for her. She hates Ashok, but can't say anything against him because his company has invested in her event management business.
Mihir Bhalla: He is Raman's younger brother and his manager as well. He is 24 years old and is Mihika's boyfriend. He cares for Raman a lot and can't go against his brother. That's the reason Mihir hasn't married Mihika yet.
Romi Bhalla: He is Raman and Mihir younger brother and the youngest of the Bhalla siblings. Romi is a young and handsome 19 year old college student. He is a huge flirt and hardly respects women. He is very attached to Raman and looks up to him as a fatherly figure. Romi wishes to see his brother happy and wants him to get married.
Madhavi Iyer: Overprotective, but loving mother of Ishita and Mihika. She just wants her daughters to settle down and be happy.
Vishwanthan Iyer: Understanding and loving dad of Ishita and Mihika. He wants to see his daughters become independent and successful. He supports his daughters in all of their decisions.
It was just another rainy Tuesday evening in Delhi. Tired from numerous contracts, multiple meetings and piles of paperwork, Raman Kumar Bhalla was driving to his small house from his huge office. He was waiting to walk home and get a huge warming hug from his daughter that would drive away his exhaustion. He was happily driving when his phone started ringing. It flashed - Home. Raman knew it was Ruhi calling. She always called him at this time. Raman pulled his car over to the side and picked up the phone.
Raman: "Hi Ruhi"
Ruhi (on phone): "Hi Papa, how do you know it's me?"
Raman: "I just do. Anyways what are you doing?"
Ruhi: "Watching T.V. Papa, please hurry up and come home. I am tired, but I can't sleep without you."
Raman: "Just 15 more minutes Ru."
Ruhi: "Okay only 15 more minutes. I am counting, so hurry up."
Raman: "Okay now hang up the phone, so I can drive and come home faster."
Ruhi: "Bye Papa!
Raman started his car again, but just then through the rear view mirror he saw a woman completely drenched in a red saree running in his direction. She came to his car and knocked on the window. He rolled down the window and saw her.
Mrs. Ishita Khanna, the woman who ruined his best friend Ishita Iyer. Ishita Iyer; the woman who he could turn to for help, the woman who understood him, his best friend, and his first true LOVE. For the world there was not much of a difference between Ishita Iyer and Mrs. Ishita Khanna, but to Raman it was like the distance between the ground and the sky.
Ishita: "Raman!! It's you! Please help me Raman. Please."
Raman: "But how can I help you...Mrs.Khanna?"
