Hey everyone. I have written a small part which will be called Chapter 13B since I don't want to be in the next chapter and I don't want it to be called another separate chapter.So it's chapter 13B. Enjoy!
Chapter 13B "Are you serious?!" she asked with a spark of hope in her.
"If I say I have forgiven you, will you leave?" he said washing away all her hopes.
"I will, only if you forgive me whole heartedly. And remember Raman I will know when you are lying."
Of course you do. He thought to himself sarcastically. There was no way he would forgive her ... or should he?? He thought calmly about when he met her a few days ago. When she had told him she had felt bad for misunderstanding him, at that time he thought it was for the small incident in that moment, but now he realized she meant something else. Then when she had found about Ruhi, she never accused him, instead she only felt bad about him moving on from her. Then after finding out about Shagun being Ruhi's mom, all she had said was she trusted him and knew he wouldn't do anything. She had also told her family the truth which she didn't have to do unless she actually wanted him to be happy and accept her apology. So wasn't it better to forgive her right now? So she could be happy in her own life and he could be happy in his?
Why should he hold so much anger in him when it was only hurting her and him? Whatever happened was the past and they were both in busy in their own lives. She was happily married with Ashok and had a career of her own, while he was also busy with his life consisting of his work and Ruhi, so shouldn't they forget everything that had happened in the past in order to live peacefully in the future? So many relationship break because of misunderstanding where no one bothers to look back and apologize like she had, so she deserved credit for owning up to where she went wrong. And now it was time for him to let go and to move on...
"Mrs. Khanna I have seriously forgiven you and I am over everything. And one more thing, I did make mistakes in our 5 years of courtship. So I am sorry for any mistake I ever made."
He looked right into her eyes as he talked. She could tell he was serious. His face showed he was getting emotional now and his words sounded genuine. She hadn't expected to be forgiven so fast, but knew that this time whatever he was saying was because he had accepted her apology and wasn't saying it just to get her to go away from him. Tears brimmed her eyes as she said...
"Thank you so much Raman! You don't know what you have just done for me. This burden of guilt I had on me for years has finally been taken off by you. Thank you."
He got himself to smile at her, but inside although he had forgiven her, it was hard to remove the hurt he had faced by her. Someone who was his life, the center of his universe and someone he loved with all his heart had hurt him in a way he had never expected and there was no way he could forget everything so quickly. So he had to tell her with a heavy heart...
"That's fine, but from now on we go our own separate ways."
She was disappointed at his words, but knew that was expected from him. Even though he had forgiven her, it didn't mean he still wouldn't be hurt by her presence. She couldn't go back to Ashok and didn't want to stay with Amma having him face her all the time, so she decided to move to another city away from Ashok, Raman and her own family.
They both knew this was the time for them to go in their own directions... only she didn't know that they were destined to go in the same direction...
They both got up to leave when Raman saw Romi running in their direction. Romi had been just been a street away when he got a phone call that made him run to Raman in a horrible state.
"Romi I told you I am coming home in 10 minutes, then why are you here?" Raman asked before he could take in Romi's state. He noticed his brother covered in sweat and his eyes were watering and he was visible tensed about something and his next words didn't help...
"Bhai...hurry up and come with me!" he said as he cried...
"What happened?!" Raman also becoming worried seeing Romi.
"Bhai...Ruhi...!"
Ishita looked up immediately as she heard Ruhi's name while Raman become anxious to know what had happened as he heard his daughter's name...
