Teaser is horrifying.
I hope ishita is fine. That idiot ashok doesn't do anything to ishita.Raman saves her on time.Does it means ur going to end this story soon.
"Papa! Come here fast!" He heard Ruhi sobbing as he picked up a call during his meeting's break.
"What happened? Why are you crying?"
"Papa! An uncle came here and now Ishita aunty is crying a lot."
"Where is Ishita?!" he asked worried remembering her reactions to Ashok before and assuming he was the man with Ishita right now.
"She is in the room with him and she's crying!"
"Ashok! Stay away from me!" he heard Ishita yell from the room on the phone.
Oh no! Ashok was in the Iyer house with Ishita and Ruhi! He knew he shouldn't have left the two alone today. Ruhi's sobs on the line made him come back to reality.
"I'm coming Ruhi, just stay on the phone and away from that man!"
He rushed out of his meeting telling Mihir there is an emergency he has to attend to. Seeing his tense face as he left, Mihir knew something was terribly wrong and didn't ask him anything. He ran out of the tall building and stepped into his car and stepping on the gas pedal as soon as the car started. He rushed through the streets of Delhi as he consoled and assured his crying daughter on the phone. He heard Ishita's scream on the other line and that was enough for him to break the traffic signal and continued driving at almost twice the speed limit.
He cursed himself for leaving the two alone as he drove. If only he had not fallen for Ishita's words that she would be okay taking care of Ruhi at her place. He should have realized it was a bad idea when Amma and Appa left for a family friend's house and Mihika headed to work. If anything got worse than it already was and Ruhi or Ishita were hurt by the horrendous animal, he wouldn't ever be able to forgive himself. He tried to concentrate on the road, but his vision was getting blurred with tears as his mind was going in other directions as he thought about Ashok hurting the two in the house.
What nonsense are you thinking Raman?! You cannot let him do anything to Ishita or Ruhi, stop crying and concentrate on getting home fast. He thought as he wipe off his tears and turned into their street. He parked the car randomly in the driveway and rushed to the front door of the Iyer house. He had managed to cover the 20 minutes distance in almost 8 minutes as he looked at the conversation time on his phone. After knocking on the door continuously and ringing the doorbell numerous times, he asked Ruhi who was still on the phone to open the door for him.
Ash the door opened, he picked up Ruhi in his arms and started to check if she hurt in anyway. And she was; she was hurt and scarred emotionally. She was trembling in his arms as she hugged him tightly and cried. He stroked her back and kept on repeating "It's okay, I'm here." and he managed to get her to tell him where Ishita was. He placed Ruhi on the sofa and asked to her wait there and not do anything until he came back. He rushed to Ishita's bedroom door and tried to open it only to find it locked.
"Ishita you are coming with me!"
"I hate you! I am not going anywhere!"
"What did you say?!"
"Ahhh! Let me go, I don't want to be with you!"
He heard the yelling from inside the room. As he heard her scream, he slapped the door trying to get it to open! He heard her yell out...
"Ruhi! Call your Papa!"
"Ishita! It's me Raman! Open the damn door!" he yelled back still banging the door.
"Oh now your sweet little lover boy is here as well, isn't he?"
"Ashok! Leave her!"
"Raman stay out of this!"
"Ashok if you don't open the damn door right now, you don't want to know what I will do with you!"
"This is a matter between me and my wife, so don't interfere!"
He banged the door with his closed fist and then ran to Ruhi quickly.
"Ruhi! Give me your hairpin. Quickly!"
As Ruhi took out one of her hairpins and handed it to him. He ran back and started to pick the lock with trembling hands. A few misses later he opened the door to a horrifying sight. The entire room was a complete mess; her clothes were thrown all over the place, some hanging out a suitcase, while others were on the floor. Ishita stood in the corner by the closet terrified while Ashok walked to him staggering and he figured he was drunk.
"YOU LEFT ME FOR THIS TRASH!" Ashok yelled out making her jump a little and shake in her spot.
"Raman-" Ishita began.
"Shut up! What are you going to tell him huh? That I am a horrible husband?! It doesn't matter to me because I am your husband while he is nothing to you. I snatched you away from him and now you're mine. All mine!"
"I'm not yours, I never was!" she yelled.
Raman looked at her and took in her appearance; her hair all disheveled, her hands fidgeting and she hid in a corner shaking with fear, her sari ends crumpled up since she had held it so tightly, and her eyes full of unshed tears from who knew how long. His own eyes filled up on seeing her state, but his attention turned back to the situation when he heard Ashok's booming voice...
"Shut up you b*tch!"
Ashok picked up a heavy novel and threw it at her. Raman ran to the curled up Ishita and stood in front of her covering her with his protective arms. The book hit his shoulder making her yelp and run her hands over his shoulders with tears in her eyes. She looked up at him and he faintly smiled at her...
"I have you safe now."
She closed eyes and rested her head on his chest as she cried quietly. He kept on stroking her back as he noticed her limping when they took slow steps to leave the room. As they got to the door, Ashok grabbed Raman and turned him around asking him what he thought he was doing.
"Doing what true men do, helping a woman instead of hurting her like you do."
"Stop preaching and leave!"
""I will leaving with Ishita and Ruhi!"
"You kicked me out of your house saying it's your property, but this isn't so don't order me!"
"I don't care! I am taking her and you can't do anything!"
Ashok pushed Raman out of the way and held her arm tightly. Raman caught his balance quickly and pulled their hands apart and punched Ashok right across the face followed by a push knocking him to the ground. He kicked him as hard as he could repeatedly. He got down on one knee and made Ashok sit up by grabbing his collar and pulling him up. He slapped him a few times before he started to punch him over and over again. Ishita was happy that Ashok was getting what he deserves, but as she saw blood on his mouth and Raman's fist having spots of his blood, she was scared that Raman might just end up killing him and invite trouble for himself. She limped towards him since her ankle was in pain from she fell before and tried to hold his arm in an attempt to stop him.
"Raman leave him!"
"Why?! Look at he did to you. I will kill him!" he said still hitting the now unconscious Ashok.
"Raman! He's unconscious, if you will kill him, you will land in legal trouble, stop!"
Not getting an answer from him, she continued...
"Think about Ruhi! If you kill him what will happen to her? Stop for her sake and mine!"
He stopped with his fist midway in hitting Ashok. He thought rational about what she was saying. Ruhi was outside in a horrible state and Ishita was next to him in a worse one. It was his job to take of them right now, not bother with Ashok. He let go of Ashok's collar letting him fall onto the ground as he got up.
"I don't want to be here." She cried to him as she crashed herself into his chest and found herself in his embrace again.
"You don't have to, come with me."
She noticed there was still blood on his hands and pulled herself out of the embrace. She held his hand and wiped of the blood on his fist with her saree's pallu. They were about to leave when Raman noticed Ishita's bangles had been broken and her wrist was bleeding, and she had bruises on her arms. He asked her to stop and looked around the room to find one of her shawls thrown on the floor. He picked it up and cleaned it off before putting it around her covering up the marks on her. She began to cry as started to remember how she had gotten hurt. He held her shoulders assuring her and supporting her as they walked out.
"Papa...aunty..." Ruhi ran over to them as she saw them walking to her with a terrified face and tears rolling down her cheeks.
"Ruhi it's going to be okay. You take Ishita aunty home and lock all the doors and windows okay? Romi chachu is coming soon to be with you two. And Papa will come in 5 minutes so don't open the door to anyone, not even me or chachu, we have our keys with us." He said he kneeled in front of his terrified daughter giving her an assuring hug before standing up to talk to Ishita.
"Ishita look at me, you're alright okay?"
She couldn't do anything and just nodded as she sobbed.
"Now Ruhi and you go to my house and please don't cry. Ruhi is getting scared."
"Raman no! Don't stay here! Come with us!"
"I need to make sure he will never bother you again, so you go now and I will deal with him!"
After seeing another horrible side of Ashok today she didn't want to be anywhere near him at all. The mere thought of him being in the same house as her sent shivers down her spine and made her tremble. And to add onto her fears that Raman wanted her to leave with Ruhi, but wanted to stay here himself to make sure that devil was out of her life. She also wanted him to leave her life forever, but she couldn't imagine Raman being here with him alone. He was dangerous right now, extremely dangerous and having Raman who was just as angry with him could never be a good idea. She saw to what extent Ashok could go to right now and Raman staying here would just put his own safety into jeopardy in case Ashok woke up which she couldn't let happen. The thought of Ashok harming Raman made her clutch onto Raman's arm tightly as if holding him from going into that room again.
"Raman no please, please don't stay here!" she said something pleading to him not to leave her alone or be alone himself.
"Ishita leave! Ruhi take your aunty!" He took her hands of his arm and placed Ishita and Ruhi's hands together and asked them leave again.
"Papa you come with us!" Ruhi also joined in with Ishita scared of her dad being with that scary man.
"Ruhi beta, trust me and go, I will be okay! Right now you have to be a brave girl and help aunty. And Ishita you go with Ruhi! " He ordered the two of them as he decided to stay back himself.
She was getting a bad feeling about leaving him alone, but could to nothing as her protests fell on deaf ears. He refused to budge and she had no choice left, but to go with Ruhi. She held Ruhi's hand tightly as she slowly limped her way to the door. Raman followed them to the door and then shut it behind them. He ran to the balcony and watched them walk across the street to his house. Before they entered the house, Ishita looked up at him in the balcony and looked at him with eyes full of concern and worry for him. He assured her with his eyes and the two entered the house quietly.
As Ishita entered the house, she had failed to see Ashok who had woke up and was behind Raman approaching him with an evil grin on his face...
