So will love ever happen between two souls who are bonded by punishment, overridden by guilt, inhibition and jealousy?????
"Do you Serendovez uhh..." The priest showed utter confusion on his otherwise calm and collected face. Not for long though.
"Oyee Singh... Say Singh fir-"
"No father Fernandez" The bickering parents of the bridegroom screamed trying to drown each other's voice.
"Singh"
"Fernandez..." The argument went on.
The priest looked exasperated looking at the Punjabi Mother and Christian Father of the bridegroom.
'Oh God help me...' He prayed totally tired of the bickering parents.
"Awwhh isn't that cute..." Purred the bridesmaid-in-honour, Sameera giving provocative looks to the bridegroom and his best man.
"What is so funny..???" Serendovez snapped irritated at the turn of events. His best man snickered behind him.
"You are drunk Maan?" He hissed incredulously at his best man.
"Nooo..." Maan slurred swaying in his position smiling naughtily like a small child caught while stealing his favourite candy.
Serendovez narrowed his eyes on his best friend cum best man. He was suspicious that Maan might have mixed something in everyone's drinks. That's why everyone is behaving so wierdly. First his lovey-dovey-never-bickering parents fighting over a silly matter such as his surname and now Maan behaving wierdly and then oh-
"Oh Serrryyy you look hottt..." Sameera purred seductively jumping on Serendovez in her drunken state forgetting that her best friend was the bride there. Serendovez staggered back stepping away from Sameera as she ended in a very much drunk Maan's arms.
The bride stood flabbergasted. Her dreamy moment of marriage going haywire.She looked ready to cry as her fiance rushed to her side.
"Baby please don't cry... Everything will be alright"
Tears rolled down her beautiful cheeks as she hiccupped. Serendovez glared at the priest to continue.
Father getting his cue rushed as fast as possible. "Do you Serendovez Fer-"
Again interrupted by the parents ."Singh"
"Fernandez" and the bickering went on again.
Father was regretting for conducting this marriage now as he spoke in hushed whispers so that he wouldn't be interrupted.
"Do you Serendovez Singh Fernandez accept Rose D' Souza as your wife for forever and ever?"
"I do!" Serry whispered rushing.
"Do you Rose D'Souza aceept him as your husb-"
"I do!" She cried quickly already wanting to rush away from this mad place to her dreamy honeymoon.
"You may kiss the bride..."
Serry dipped Rose in his arms taking her lips in a French kiss whooshing away her breath.
Meanwhile,
Sameera batted her eyelashes innocently at Maan. He was smiling notoriously.
She leaned towards his ear,"I am so hottt" She slurred licking his ear-lobe. Maan roared laughing.
"This oughta cool you out babe... " He slurred staggering towards the pool and dropped her there.
He howled loudly laughing as the audience gathered up around them. By now Sameera had sobered up and the gathering made her so so embarrassed.
She realized what a fool she had made out of her drunken mess. Hopefully Rose could forgive her sometime, she wished as she saw the assigned priest scurrying away out of the hall.
She looked here and there hoping for her saviour to arrive. She heaved a sigh of relief when she saw her.
She came rushing adjusting her blue specs on her nose, covered in black jeans and a white decent top unlike her now wet and destroyed gown.
"Oh My... Sameera what happened?" She rushed over to her side horrified at the mess. Like a dam broke Sameera started crying over her shoulder as she took her away to the rest-room. There was going to be a party later on for the newly married couple so they had to stay back.
Maan had sobered up by now and looked at the new entry. Simple girl with no airhead bimbo attitude, he shrugged. Not his type. He walked back to Serry who punched him on his face. He smiled at a very much pissed off Serry and flustered Rose.
"Congoozz" He smiled. Serry couldn't help but laugh at the situation. His best friend surely knew his way out with pranks.
Rose gasped walking towards her new friend and wet friend , Oops!
"Sam.. What happened?... Geet why is she crying" However angry she was, she couldn't see her bestfriend so upset.
"I am sorry..." Sam croaked hiding her face in her hands leaning on Geet.
"How-"
"You spiked the drinks on purpose! Didn't you Maan? " Serry exclaimed and Maan nodded a huge 'yeah' looking around mischieviously. Everyone had sobered up by now.
Geet was enraged. How could he... destroy such a holy ritual as marriage with his pranks Ughh. Emotionless Jerk.
"I can't say the speech I am sorry Rosey" She was really sad and called her nickname the bff's fondly used for each other.
Geet and Sameera walked away.

"What I-am-so-hot girl refused to say? Why do I out of all the people have to replace her??? Ask her other nerdy friend!!" Maan screamed irritated at Serry.
"You better do this!! It's all your fault by the way... Maan" He spoke as a matter of fact.
"And I don't want to see Rose and her friends upset... And nerdy... Don't go over there... Geet is a spitfire!! You are going to get it back soon"
"Ughh Fine!" He stomped up to the stage.
By the time he reached the stage he had a sly smile pasted on his face.
He started, "Rose and Serry are one of the finest couples I have ever seen. Serry doesn't sleep around" Maan gagged. "Rose has a fine little a--" He was about to continue when he felt a yellow liquid slidng down his face.. He held out his hand to find egg yolk on his face. He looked straight to find Geet with 2 more eggs on her left hand with her specs standing over her nose with all its pride and glory. She looked enraged yet smirked.
Maan looked like a lost puppy seeing the curls teasing around her cheeks and lips but then got hold of himself.
She egged him.
He was so so embarrassed.
Furious would be an understatement.
She was so dead!!
