Chapter 3

Geet was transferred from one arm to the other throughout the whole day. You may wonder what such special occasion was that everyone was so happy. Well everyone except one particular grumpy man. He was shooting angry glares at her continuously first for the great humiliation at the party and his wasted white, mind you, his favourite pants.

He clutched his weapon' was securely placed inside his pockets and a sly smile appeared on his lips.

"Congrats Geet! You successfully humiliated that boy!! He definitely needs a tame" Yash spoke teasingly as Geet laughed.

Inside she was so nervous. This appeared so wrong to her. Humiliating him and all. She never intended this to happen. Already they started on a bad note. But then he touched her like that... It scared the living daylights out of her...No one had done like that to her back in home... Now that she came all the way here rebelling she was scared. She missed the safety the security of her home...her family.

A strong burning gaze fell on her and she knew who it could be. She turned to him with a pleading face but turned back as soon. He was busy' with his supposed' girlfriend sucking faces, she assumed the girlfriend' part.

She was so embarrassed to witness their private moment. Her face flushing red. She was modern in outlook but not so modern to witness people...kissing.

Maan was impatiently waiting for lunch, tapping his feet continuously... He wanted revenge soon like real soon... Grinning from ear to ear he leaned towards his present' girlfriend, kissing her lips as Geet made a disgusting face and turned away. At least he should keep the PDA out of college, she thought.

Although they had two free classes, it wasn't with her. To his surprise, he was disappointed. Considering the fact he had just met her a day ago and the humiliation and slap. He just shrugged it off as curiosity.

Finally after a long class, which he had with her although Yash roamed around her like a bee, and the teacher bored them like hell the lunch bell finally rang. Everyone ran off to the cafeteria while Geet walked followed by Yash who showed her the places around and also introduced people to her. Dropping a hint or two about his manliness. Frankly he just wanted her because she had had a spat with Maan. Anything against Maan was funny to him.

Maan strolled slowly following them.

Finally they sat in the cafeteria having bought their lunch trays. To Maan's surprise her plate was full. She is going to have it all?' He thought, amused. He just had a perception, a mere observation with Rose, Sameera and all his other bimbo perfect' girlfriends, eat less remain perfect.

He slowly walked, slyly smile as everyone had focus on Geet, pulled it out of his pockets ,slammed her Disney-ed bra on her lunch table laughing... "Hey babe you left it at my room last night..." He licked his lips "I enjoyed it by the way..."

Geet was so so so ashamed, embarrassed and what not. Tears filled her amber eyes as she froze at his last statement. It was so humiliating and insulting for a conservative girl like her. Tears spilled and sobs racked her body as all the students laughed at her. She stood up and ran as fast as she could. Away from them, away from him...faster into the women's washroom.

Rose shot hate-filled stares at him as Sameera stood there confused. Whether to feel giddy as Maan came up to their table or feel sad for Geet. Frankly it wasn't much a big deal for her. She couldn't understand Geet's point of view.

"That was such a low blow Maan..." Rose spat as the bell rang indicating the lunch break to be over. Everyone dispersed on their own ways.

Even Serendovez shot him a disappointed look and walked off.

And Maan...

He was dumbstruck!!! What the hell just happened?????? He did not expect such a reaction from her. May be a slap or a hit at his balls but certainly not this. He had been so casual with most girls in an intimate way that he actually forgot how to treat a decent girl!

Weird' He thought.

As the last class ended and he reached his bike he was met with a horrified sight.

Her face was tear-stricken...mascara running down her eyes...hair dishevelled as if someone had held her tight by it.

As Rose comforted her and led her away, Maan was confused. Sameera tailed them. No one from the group even glanced at him.

He was shocked... Now what!!

Later he knew...as heard from rumours...after the stunt he pulled... A senior had cornered her forcing a kiss onto her...deeming her to be Maan's type of woman...

Oh well now that made him feel guilty... but that was all forgotten in the haze of passion with which his current girlfriend now distracted and kissed him.

The whole day Serry didn't contact...that was bit weird considering buddies since childhood... it didn't settle too well with him...

Finally after contemplating a lot... He decided to give a visit to Rose and maybe Serry... There was this unknown excitement within him...

But well a knock at his door disturbed his plans... He postponed his plans for the next day... As his girlfriend Rina entered wearing a sexy outfit. Maan licked his lips... "sexy..."

And then they started making out. Lips plastered to lips.

The bumper came then...when Rina started opening his shirt buttons. He pushed her away... "I have work...get out please..." He closed his buttons. Rina stomped her feet and walked away... Grumbling "Bas***d..."

Well Maan had a rule... A girlfriend with a limit till making out. He slid down after closing the door. "Phew! Trouble out..."

Even next day passed the same as before.

No one talking to him straight face out of the group... Well except Sameera...in her usual flirty way... "Hey Maan... you okay? You seem upset..."

"Everyone seems to be avoiding me..." Maan mumbled.

"Oh no don't worry..."She kept her black- painted nails over his shoulder..."...they will come around... They are just upset as Geet is sad..."

Maan realized he went far off in this prank game... May be ... may be he sh-sho-uld... Damn even thinking about asking sorry' seemed so difficult... But he would!

His best friend is going away from him and it was his fault also...

Decided... he would say sorry' to Geet... In all his self thoughts he forgot Sam was standing next to him. He just walked off without a word... he never cared!

"Am I pushing away Serry from his best friend..." Geet thought wistfully... She had witnessed their interaction from the corridor... no that was wrong... She will make everyone understand. Its her own problem she has to handle it on her own...

Sam seemed close to Maan? Is there something between them?' She mused!!
