I know it's a term coined to represent the greatest warriors. Star plus's factually incorrect Mahabharata clearly stated it. They also clarified that the three men i.e. Bhishma, Arjuna and Drona fall under this category.

@thewatcher meaning this atimaharathi term is created ss fanatics? no base? also from where this four atimaharathi concept originated? any idea?

Ati-maharathi is the combination of Atirathi and Maharathi.

@shruti I meant to ask I heard abt four atimaharathis-bheeshma,drona,arjun and karna always! but as watcher stated there is no duch word in translation so meaning this term too came out of nowhere and became so popular
