FF- Shaadi Mubarak! NEW UPDT. Page 1

Hey Guys I love all of the FF's on this forum, so I thought why don't I start my own? So this is the first time I'm doing something like this, so please be patient with me. I'll start by giving a character sketch, and hopefully if you like it, then I'll update more!

Chapter 26

Are you sure you guys want to do this? Preeti said as she laid out two plates filled with paani puri in front of Arjun and Arohi.

I was born ready! Arjun grinned while Arohi just had her game face on. She needed to beat him, after all if she did, she'd get to decide on Arjun's punishment.

Ok, your time starts...now! Shashank exclaimed while starting the stop watch.

Arjun and Arohi grabbed for the paani puris wildly, not stopping to breathe or blink. One after the other, that was the motto. Tears were streaming out of Arohi's eager eyes, and Arjun's throat was burning from all of the excess food going down it. His stomach grumbled, and his jaw ached.

Arjun, whatever you do, tu iss ladki ke samne nahin har sakte! Aaaj tu marega! He thought to himself.

Between bites Arohi noticed how Arjun's energy had lowered, and knew that this was her chance to win in front of the "gabru jawaan" Arjun.

There was one paani puri left in front of both of them, and Arohi lunged for it as fast as she could! Arjun still had his mouth full, unable to complain. He was defeated, and boy did it suck.

Damn! Arohi! Where the hell did you learn how to eat like that? Shashank exclaimed as he slapped Arjun on the back trying to stop his coughing.

Preeti went to go get water for Arjun, while Arohi leaned back on her chair

I'm a fighter Shanky, and I wanted to win this competition, she said amirking at Arjun.

Preeti returned with water, whilst Arjun recovered from his paani puri attack.

Whatever...just tell me what I have to do, he mumbled taking the glass from Preeti.

Arohi fixed her posture leaning forward towards Arjun

You...Mr. Singhania, you have to show me around town...somewhat like a date if I may say, she said.

WHAT?! YOU, I HAVE TO TAKE YOU OUT ON A DATE? Arjun said completely flabbergasted.

Oye, I know you're dying to ok, zyaada shocked hua shakal mat bana, Arohi said.

Preeti looked at Shashank and grinned. The two were totally hopeless.

The barbeque dinner was going great and everyone seemed to have a fun time besides Khanak. She sat by herself near the tree that overlooked the garden., wondering why Ajay had such a huge impact on her. So he wasn't going to come, big deal. He rarely did what Khanak wanted him too, but that's okay right? Right?

Mind if I join you? A voice came from behind.

Shaan! Khanak said, startled to see him. Where was he all day?

Whatchya doing? He asked taking a sip from his drink.

She looked at him. He was so calm, so...relaxed. The Shaan she first met was an uptight guy who forgot how to smile. What changed him, in such a short amount of time?

I don't know...I just needed some time alone, I guess, she said.

Shaan nodded, you know tumhe yeh attitude suit nahin karta, he said.

Kaunsa attitude? She asked curiously.

Yehi, sulking in a corner when everyone else is having fun. Your name is Khanak, remember? You're noise, a playful one that rings in everyone eyes, he says looking into hers.

Khanak looked back. A playful noise? When did he get all poetic?

What? I can be poetic, I've got that side too!, Shaan exclaimed.

Khanak grinned. Shantanu Khandelwal...you are one confusing man! She said.

Not as confusing as you! He smirked while lifting her off the ground.

Now let's go, I think Shashank put something in Arjun's drink...and that's a show you do not want to miss! He said leading her back to the backyard.

Khanak laughed, and for some time that empty feeling inside her stomach vanished.

Wooow finally honestly im really happy that ur continuing because most ppl have left there ffs hanging because if they dont want to write they might as well end it but thanks for sticking with it
