Kareena and Saif keep Jeh’s fifth birthday low key with tree planting and Naruto cake

Actors Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan marked their younger son Jeh Ali Khan’s fifth birthday on February 21 with a quiet family gathering and a small themed party later in the day.

The couple, who are parents to Taimur born in 2016 and Jeh born in 2021, chose a simple celebration this year. After the knife attack incident at their residence last year, the family kept the occasion private and limited it to close relatives and friends.

Kareena shared glimpses from the morning on social media. The pictures showed Saif and the two boys planting saplings at the Pataudi Palace with help from the house staff. Kareena was also seen joining them in one frame. The family kept their outfits relaxed and practical for the activity.

Along with the photos, Kareena wrote, “Birthday’s are all about planting trees and being free. Happy birthday Son… Jeh Baba.” The post quickly drew reactions from friends and well wishers. Neha Dhupia commented, “Jeh baba. happy happy happy always.” Jeh’s maasi Riddhima Kapoor Sahni posted red heart emojis. Several fans also dropped birthday wishes for the young star kid.

Later in the day, Saif’s sister Soha Ali Khan shared images from a Naruto themed birthday party organised for Jeh. The décor featured anime inspired elements and a three tier cake decorated with Naruto cookies. It appeared to be an intimate indoor gathering with close friends and family members including Neha Dhupia and Karisma Kapoor.

Sharing the moments, Soha wrote, “Blink and he’s five. Cake cutting photos have to be chaos. Can see the cake – birthday boy, not so much! (But we could hear him) And through it all is Bebo looking as cool as a cucumber – how”.

On the professional front, Kareena is set to appear in Daayra directed by Meghna Gulzar and Golmaal 5 helmed by Rohit Shetty. Saif Ali Khan, meanwhile, has Haiwaan alongside Akshay Kumar in his upcoming slate.
