Uhh Abeer, do you think the car's big enough for all of us? Leher asked eyeing the SUV Abeer rented for all of them.
Of course it's big enough! Now come, get in! Abeer replied hopping into the driver's seat.
Shaan got in the passenger seat while Khanak, Preeti and Arohi climbed in the back, leaving Arjun and Shashank and Leher to sit in the middle.
Now I agreed to take you girls to the mall, but we're not going to stay there for more than an hour, get it? Abeer said.
*Leher scoffed* With the shopping list Mahi gave me, we'll be lucky if we get everything done in 2 hours!
The guys groaned, while the girls chatted about what to buy, and where to go.

Inside the mall, the girls were busy rushing here and there to get what they needed, while the guys roamed around, often losing one another.
Arjun went into a store trying on different hats and sunglasses until he heard laughter behind him
Ladkian? Australian ladkian? Chal Arjun now's your time, one'two..three turn! He thought in his head.
He turned to see Arohi laughing at him, "I thought he looked stupid before, guess I was wrong!" she said laughing, walking away from the store.
Arjun turned around, threw the hat on the floor, and stormed out of the store, wondering why he ever met Arohi.
Shaan! Hold up! Khanak yelled, running behind Shaan.
Why do you guys walk so fast?! Gosh can't you walk like a normal person? Khanak said reaching up to Shaan.
Normal person? And us guys don't walk fast, in fact you girls walk slow, can't you walk fast? Shaan asked Khanak
Please, we walk fine, you're the ones with the problems! She replied
Whatever Khanak, Shaan said giving up.
Do you know where everyone else went, I ummm kind of lost Preeti' she said looking confused.
*Shaan laughed* And how exactly do you lose a person? He asked.
Shut up, I'm serious, I don't know where everyone is! She said.

Ooo, Shaan look a photo booth! Khanak exclaimed cutting Shaan's sentence
I love photo booths, in college when all of us would go watch a movie, we always took pictures in one just like this! Let's go na, Shaan! Khanak said dragging Shaan to where the photo booth was.
Khanak, no, we don't know where the others are.. and we don't have time' Khanaaak! Shaan whined.
Shaan, now you're the one acting like a child, now get in, she said pushing a reluctant Shaan in to the booth.
Inside Khanak squealed, as she made her choice of 4 photos, Smile Shaan! She said as the camera took their picture.
The first picture was a confused Shaan with an over excited Khanak, the next one was Khanak holding up Shaan's cheek to make him laugh, the third one was of the two looking at each other, laughing, and the last one was a normal one of them smiling at the camera.
Hey, that one's nice, Shaan said pointing to the last one, can I keep it? He asked.
Uhh, no I like that one, here you could keep this one, Khanak said handing him the second one. Now you could look at this picture and remember that sometimes you have to smile in life! She said.
Haha, very funny Khanak, he replied looking at the picture.
He looked closely and saw how close they became in the past couple of weeks. Usually he's never this close with anyone if he'd just met them, but Khanak was different, she brought the old Shaan out, and he liked that. He put the picture in his wallet next to Natasha's picture, he stared at his wallet for a moment, and for some reason moved the picture a little closer to the center, he smiled and put his wallet back into his pocket and saw that Khanak had already left, a couple of steps in front of him. He jogged towards her, realizing that now he's the one after her.

Preeti had been walking around with Khanak, until she heard Shashank call out to her, gesturing her to come over to him. She told a busy Khanak where she was going, unsure if she had heard her or not.
When she went over to where Shashank was standing, she saw that he was holding out a pair of pink, glass bangles, reaching for her hand.
Shashank, yeh saab'
Shh, he whispered, putting the bangles in her hand one by one.
Ache hai na? he asked smiling at her.
Bahut ache, she smiled, listening to the sound they made as she shook her hands.
He looked at her before heading towards the register to pay for the bangles. Once there he told the cashier where she was standing and the cashier understood what he wanted to buy.
Preeti continued to smile at herself, and turned around to see a newly married couple also buying bangles.
She looked at the girl and saw a deep maroon shade of mehendi on her hands, and saw how the girl was glowing as her husband teased her. As she looked closer she slowly tried to picture Shashank and her as the couple'
Ready? Shashank asked coming from behind.
Preeti snapped back into reality, blinking she realized where she was. She turned around and saw Shashank smiling at her.
Yea, she answered walking out of the store, leaving a confused Shashank behind.

Everyone eventually found each other, clutching shopping bags, and decided that finally it was time to go home.
*Arjun yawned* Guys, I'm starving! He whined looking sadly at his stomach.
We're almost home Arjun, Abeer said smiling into the rearview mirror.
You know Arjun, Khanak's an awesome cook! Leher said.
Really?! Arjun said turning his head to face Khanak.
Well' kind of' yea, Khanak replied.
You know, Shaan's also an awesome cook, Abeer said.
Really? Khanak said smiling at Shaan.
Then it's set Khanak and Shaan will cook dinner tonight! Arjun said looking at Shaan for conformation.
Sure...why not? Shaan said looking at a smiling Khanak in the rearview mirror.
