Ahh what can I say, my computer sucks! I wrote the part, and it shut down on me and nothing was saved... well let's not talk about this until I'm compelled to throw my computer out the window 😡

Part 11-

Maybe he's in a meeting, or he's just busy… I called him twice last night, he was probably tired, Khanak thought laying in her bed. She returned Ajay's call last night, and called him this morning too. He works hard… He's busy, she kept telling herself, unsure of what the truth was.

Leher was sitting in a lawn chair outside looking at the sun rise over the ocean. She was lost in her own thoughts when Abeer placed a mug in front of her

Good morning, he kissed her on top of her head

Hi… Hot chocolate? She asked looking at the mug

Woh kya hai na, coffee isn't that romantic, he smiled taking a seat next to her.

Leher smiled, and played with the whipped cream, on top of the mug

What're you thinking? He asked

*Leher sighed* I was thinking about getting a wedding planner, it's all too stressful! She said

*Abeer laughed* God, now you sound like Shashank! *Leher laughed* You know my cousin's a wedding planner, it's funny I didn't think of that before, he said.

Seriously, which one? Leher asked.

Mahi, the one's that 2 years younger than me, she wasn't able to come to our engagement, Abeer said.

Yeah, Abeer that's perfect! Call her, I hope she's not busy… Leher said.

Shaan came down the stairs and saw that everyone had already finished having breakfast, besides Khanak. He was late at waking up after calling his mom early in the morning, she was the only one in the family who understood him.

Hey, slept in today? Shaan smiled at Khanak putting coffee in the coffee maker.

Hey, yeah, it was a bad night, you? She asked Shaan.

Same, he replied not making eye contact with her.

After breakfast Khanak left, and went upstairs to call some of her colleagues, while Shaan wondered why she was looking so upset. He head into the living room where Arjun and Arohi were sitting awkwardly, far away from each other.

So what's the plan for today? Shaan asked Arjun

I don't know, let's go to the gym or something, Abeer and Bhabhi went out somewhere, and Shashank took Preeti out to shop. Now I'm just left with this Bevakoof ladki, he said looking at Arohi.

*Shaan laughed* Nah I'm not in the mood to go, why don't we just chill at home, I sure the others wont be too long, he said.

Sure, let's just leave THIS room, Arjun said walking into the game room.

The two guys were playing pool in the game room, while Shaan was beating Arjun

Kya yaar? Aaj khelne ka mood nahin hai kya? Shaan asked.

Maat pooch yaar, Daadi ka tabiyat kharab hai, You know I always get upset if she's sick, Arjun replied.

Pshh, hamare HALTHY Chandigarh ki daadi ko kuch nahin hoga, fikar maat kar yaar, Shaan replied.

*Arjun smiled* I guess you're right, aur tu bataa, ghar mein sab kaisa hain? Arjun asked.

Aaj subha mom say baat hui, kuch khass nahin, woh karahee thi kay Natasha ke mom usse call kiya thay, aur mere bare mein pooch rahe thi, Shaan said hitting on the cue ball harder than he normally would, not keeping eye contact with Arjun.

Arjun put his pool stick down and walked over to where Shaan was standing

Yaar, tu kab bhoolaygi usse? Woh wapass lotkar aayegi nahin, Arjun said talking softly.

*Shaan looked away his eyes moist* I don't know, I just don't know… _________________________________________________________________

Khanak had spent all of her afternoon sitting in her room, claiming that she had work to do, but in reality she went through all of her messages from Ajay over the past year, which weren't that many, thinking about her future.

Khanak? Dinner's ready come eat, kya kaam karahe hai tu, sare din bhaar? Preeti asked taking a seat on Khanak's bed.

*Khanak rubbed her eyes* Kuch nahi, tu jaa mein tohdi dhair baad atee hoon, she replied.

Okayy, but come quick! Preeti replied.

Dinner had been pretty hectic, with Shashank exclaiming how big Australia's malls were, while Preeti rolled her eyes, and Arohi looked pleased. Everyone asked Abeer and Leher how their day went, creating so much noise, that they didn't realize that Khanak, the talkative one wasn't talking. Only Shaan seemed to notice this. After dinner he found Khanak sitting on the terrace looking at the moon.

Hi, you seem a little quiet today, Shaan said leaning against the balcony

Uhh no,* Khanak sighed* I'm just as I am everyday, Khanak replied.

Please, usually tum baat kum karte ho, aur barbaratee ho zyada, Shaan said smiling.

Haha, very funny, Khanak replied.

No seriously, baat kya hai? Shaan said.

Seriously Shaan, it's nothing, I'm fine, she said.

Hmm, okay, well if there is anything you want to talk about, or if you just want to talk to someone, I'm there, he said looking directly in to Khanak's eyes.

Okayy, Khanak said forcing a smile.

Shaan started to walk away when Khanak called him

Shaan! Thanks…

Shaan smiled and returned back into the house, while Khanak stared at him realizing how much he changed from when she first met him, to now.

~Yeah I know this was pretty boring, next one will be fun, I promise :) Until then Good neend in America, and Good morning in India!
