Part 10 -

Shaan pulled the black convertible into the driveway of the house. It was near 5 o'clock and the sun was starting to set, creating a blur of orange and pink in the sky. Khanak was still sleeping, he was unsure if he should wake Khanak or not.

Should I wake her up? She looks so comfortable' She looks really nice when she sleeps' maybe I should go inside and ask one of the girls to come wake her up' no they'd think I'm stupid' maybe I should nudge her, wait what if she gets angry' why am I thinking all of this?! Shaan thought in his head panicking about what to do

*He turned around to look at Khanak, and smiled* She really does look very pretty *he jerked back up* Whoa what are you thinking? He questioned himself

Shaan turned around the look at the sky, while Khanak slowly woke up

Hey *she yawned* I fell asleep didn't I? Khanak asked.

*Shaan sighed with relief in his head* Yeah' but we're home now, he smiled

How long have I been sleeping for, and how long have we been home, why didn't you wake me up? Khanak asked looking confused

Ermm, not that long, actually we just arrived' like right now, he lied.

Ohkayy, well let's go home, Khanak laughed

They both stepped out of the car and walked home finding Shashank and Arohi yell at each other

Stop arguing with me Arohi, you know I'm a better dancer than him, Shashank said

Oh puh-leasee, you can't dance if your life depended on it! He's a TRAINED, PROFFESSIONAL dancer, just look at him *She pointed at the tv, where it was showing Chance Pe Dance*

Preeti smiled, sitting in the couch looking back and forth at Shashank and Arohi

*Shashank scoffed* You call that moves, I have better moves than him, right Preeti? Shashank asked.

*Preeti continued to laugh* Umm, yeah, but Shahid dances really well, She said.

See, even your fianc thinks that Shahid's better than you, Arohi said proving a point.

*Shashank looked hurt, taking a seat opposite from Preeti*

Hey you're home! Preeti smiled looking at Shaan and Khanak who was standing awkwardly at the door

What was that all about? Shaan asked Shashank taking a seat next to him

I dance well, right? Shashank asked Shaan

*Shaan hesitated* Yeahhh, yeahh you dance well, mmhmm, he smiled at Shashank.

Shashank don't listen to Arohi, you dance really well. And it's a waste of time to argue with her about Shahid Kapoor, trust me I've been there before, Khanak told Shashank.

Just then Abeer walked into the living room

Uhh girls, Leher wants to talk to you about something, he said.

Is she still freaking out? Khanak asked everyone

Yeah, I don't think I can handle her anymore, Abeer said plopping into the couch.

*The girls headed off upstairs* She's really tensed about the wedding right? Shaan asked Abeer

YES! I didn't think a wedding would require so much effort, we didn't really plan anything you know? Abeer said.

See, this is why I don't want to get married! Shashank exclaimed.

*The guys ignored him* Where's Arjun? Shaan asked.

He's upstairs working, securing a deal or something, oh and auntie called, she said she called your cell, but it wasn't working? Abeer said.

Oh yeah, my battery ran out of charge, I should go call her, Shaan said

*As Shaan got up, Abeer yelled out to him* How was the car ride with Khanak? He asked.

What do you mean? Shaan asked confused

You guys had a good time, right? Abeer asked.

Uhh, yea' I guess, Shaan said. We had a good time, he smiled and left the room

Shashank gave questioning looks to Abeer, and Abeer smiled back at him.

Leher! I got your wedding cards! Khanak sang jumping on Leher's bed.

Oh good, okay so that's one thing done, now I just need to call the cake place, and the lights person, or did I already do that? Leher said thinking out loud.

Leher, you need to chill, why don't you get a wedding planner? Arohi asked.

A wedding planner! That's what I need! Leher jumped up.

Okay good, now that that's solved. Forget about everything and talk to us, you were busy planning everything the whole day! Preeti said taking the laptop and phone away from Leher.

*Leher yawned* But there's so much to do, She wailed

Yeah, and we could always do it tomorrow, Khanak said.

*The four girls sat on the bed, like they used to do when they were in college*

So how was the drive? Leher asked Khanak

It was good? Khanak said unsure of what Leher meant

You and Shaan talked right? Leher said.

Of course we talked, we didn't just sit there! Khanak exclaimed

Are you guys starting to be friends? Preeti asked Khanak

Yeah, I guess, Khanak replied

You know Abeer told me today that Shaan's starting to open up more, he's starting to be like himself when he's with the guys, Leher said.

He's a nice guy, he sings right? Arohi asked Leher.

He's a real good singer! Khanak said.

You heard him sing? Shashank said that he hasn't heard him sing like he used to before the accident, Preeti asked Khanak

Well, yeah, he sings whenever were in the car, come to think of it we're always together in some car! Khanak said.

Really, he sang? Leher asked Khanak looking astonished.

Yeah, Arohi where's my phone? Khanak asked Arohi

Oh, right here, you left it in the room this morning, Arohi said giving Khanak her phone.

Khanak looked down at her phone and saw 2 missed call from Ajay.

@Bold Abeer wants to find someone for Shaan so he could be happy again, while Leher wants Shaan to be like how he was before, so Abeer could be happy, and she thinks that Khanak's personality/friendship could change Shaan, does that answer your question? :)

Sorry dear I know I haven't commented on a last part 😳 & very Sorry for commenting late was tied up with few things & Navratri. 😊 & than sone pe suhaaga I was not well so was not able to comment *Sorry* 😭 So here I am posting my replies for the both the parts just one request please give updates thoda jaldi if Possible 😃

Just read the updates 😃 & I am very Happy after Redaing it. I am loving this Part Ab lag raha hain ye Shanak FF hain warna they were not getting much space previously 😳 & The whole Lime light taken By Arjun Arohi 😃 (sorry if i hurt you by this )😳

But this was the fantastic update With Shanak. 😃 & I can see the Sparks between them Now. Yiiipeee.

Loved the Update As Usual Arjun & Shashank is fighting. 😆 & Shaan's Line was awesome that they are fighting like a married couple.🤣 The breakfast table sence was best, Their going for selecting the wedding card from the dealer & that guys comment 😃,.Wow U are awesome 😆 👍🏼

Lol I was seriously thinking why these two are fighting 😲 & frankly speaking read that sentence once again Coz firstly I thought Arohi yells at Arjun hoga 😕 & galti se I read Shashank.😳 But than got the whole story. 😆 Loved their convo Super Rocking. 😃 Loved khanak taking poor shashanks side 😳 😳

Awee poor lehar is so tensed about wedding preparations 😳 & Abeer is super cool .😃 he is pointing at the right places & right time confusing others 👍🏼 & getting Bang on reaction from the person whom he had asked a question.⭐️ 👏

On the other side laher asked Khanak abt the car ride 😃….& khanak tells every one that she had heard him Sing 😲…..Wow Abeer & lehar rocked the update they both wants Shaan to be normal once again 😃 & enjoy life fullest like he used to do before, lehar is a real sweet heart she wants shaan to be happy the way she reacted when she came to knew that He sand when he was with Khanak 😃 ….I mean Wow that is so visible & I can feel it from your writing.👏 ⭐️

Lehar knows Shaan is like a bro to abeer & he gets happy 😃…..Abeer will be super happy …..Wow that means Abeer & laher are going to play cupid some or the other way in Shanak's life 😍😍😍😍😍
