Nach Baliye's comeback this week

Nach Baliye will be back with a bang on Friday with a fresh episode and a suprise package. Since the strike, this will be the comeback episode of Nach.

There will also be a puja on the sets since Nach is back almost after a month and also to end the chain of injuries.

Nach Baliye making its comeback with a new jodi.... Well not a dancing jodi but a hosting jodi. Yes you got it right. Aamir and Sanjeeda have been replaced by Ali Merchant and his baliye Sara. Their chemistry, presence and the aura of their love has smitten every single person on the sets and everybody seems to be liking them.

Chetan Hansraj set to join NB

Nach Baliye is all set to have a big twist in the recent future. After the elimination of three couples already, we hear one more is set to go. But that's not all – another couple will be given a wild card entry.

Back after a break of 15 days due to the producers' strike, the new entry will take place this week. We hear the strong contenders for celeb entry are Chetan Hansraj and his wife or Ali Merchant and Sara Khan.
Meanwhile the buzz also suggests that Ali who has wrapped his show Rubi was keen to do a reality show. Chetan Hansraj on the other hand is only doing Ekta Kapoor's Mahabharat which is said to be close to wrapping up as well. If selected this will be the first time the audiences will get to see Chetan's wife at close quarters.

A source says, "Chetan's name was in discussion for a special entry and he too was thinking positively about it. However to know whose name has been finalized you have to wait and watch this Friday's epeisode as that jodi will make entry on Frida."

So far Jatin Shah-Priya Bhatija, Tanushree Kaushal-Vineet Raina and Karnvir Bohra-Teejay Sidhu have been eliminated.

Shaleen and Daljit's "BLIND" love

As we all know, Shaleen and Daljit always surprise us with their unique dance concepts, epiosde 9 was no different. Their entire performance was blindfolded which was dedicated to a friend of Shaleen's from Jabalpur, who cannot see and has never seen the woman he is in love with.

The whole performance was incredibly coordinated with perfect sync and exact timing.
IT seemed as if they could actually see since the entire act was just PERFECT.
The judges were extremely touched and Farah gave Shaleen and Daljit a standing ovation for the SECOND TIME in NB4!!!

Moulli and Mazher's "Bachata"

Mazher and Moulli have been improving day by day and week by week.
For week 5, they did a sensuous dance to 'Kaante Nahin Kat te' using a dance form called Bachata which their choreographers, Karishma and Pallavi, painstakingly taught them. Their choreographers are like a bundle of talent which they showcase every week with unique dance forms and concepts. Moulli looking stunning in a lavender ball room gown and Mazher in a formal attire, they for sure set the dance floor on fire.
And after a very long time, Mazher actually played a man in the dance!

After Rubi, Ali Merchant turns host

After his show Rubi winding up on 9X, Ali Merchant is set to entertain his fans in a new role- that of a host. Ali will host two special episodes of Nach Baliye with his girlfriend Sara Khan.
Merchant is thrilled about the opportunity saying, "I just love hosting. It has always been my passion. This is the first time that Sara and I will be seen together onscreen which makes it even more special."
And although Ali would love to host full-time, it is Sara's schedule that did not permit them to do more episodes for Nach Baliye. He says, "Sara is doing a daily, where she has to shoot for most of the day so that, in addition to a reality show, is taxing for her. Since every 2 episodes of Nach Baliye has a theme, we are here as guest hosts."

The last time we spoke to the actor, he told us that he was very comfortable dancing. Why is he hosting then? Ali says, "That was up to the channel to decide. We were asked to host, so we went for it. Also, dancing might have been a problem as you need a minimum of 6-7 hours of practice for a single dance sequence. This wouldn't be possible for Sara."

Ali started his career hosting and is always willing to return to his roots. "Jay and I began our careers doing live anchoring for Zee's Play TV. We did that for about a year. I've hosted about 12000-15000 shows and I am just superb at it!" the actor boasts. At the same time, Ali is a little worried about hosting with his lady love. "Coordination mein thodi problem thi, but we share an excellent chemistry," he says.

Merchant says he is big Hussain fan, calling the actor 'mindblowing'. He also praises the present Nach Baliye hosts Aamir and Sanjeeda saying, "They have been getting better and better every episode."

According to Ali, there are a few qualities that every good host should possess. He says, "A host should make everybody get in to groove. He should have a lot of energy as he is responsible for 30% of the TRPs of the show. He should be trained because it is him who is responsible for holding the audience's attention. And above all, he should be a patient listener."
