Ananya, I refuse to acknowledge that what you have written here is a story.

This is sheer poetry.

It gripped me from the beginning. And its hold just kept on increasing as it progressed.

The way you described the lady-I am sorry but I have a real hard time visualizing Khushi as the lady here- was awe inspiring.

For me, she was someone who must have stepped out of a painting. Probably one of Raja Ravi Verma's Oils.

Her inherent femaleness.!! Oh God! I think I would have fallen in love with her.

I am sorry, but I can honestly, for the first time claim, that I have not really cared about Arnav.

I was completely lost in the lady's beauty.

The way you described her dancing? The closest I can relate is Madhuri Dixit's dance in Dil toh Pagal hai.

I know it is no where near her poise, but that's the closest I can think of.

You have left me speechless! What does one say when they witness something this superior that words fail to describe how they feel about it?


You have an absolutely incredible way to describe the surroundings. Heck I think I was seated behind him on one of the velvet covered seats and saw the splendid stage and was also watching this unfold before my eyes. I was running behind him while he chased the sound, I could feel his desperation, I could feel his anxiety, I was hiding behind a pillar while they talked.


You have described the mystery woman by using apt references.


And later they meet again and the only proof left to him that he met her was the paayal. I liked it how the beautiful ghoonghroo cum paayal lost its charm when it was no more adorned by her.


One adjective is not sufficient to describe this one. Take all the best wale adjectives from the dictionary for this one *claps*
