Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan is all set to meet football legend Lionel Messi during his Mumbai stop for the G.O.A.T India Tour 2025. Messi, who arrived in the city on Sunday afternoon, December 14, was accompanied by Inter Miami teammates Luis Suárez and Rodrigo de Paul. The main event is scheduled at the iconic Wankhede Stadium around 5 pm.

Amid speculation about her presence, Kareena confirmed she would meet Messi. On Instagram, she shared a photo with sons Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan, highlighting their excitement for the upcoming encounter. Taimur wore a ‘Messi 10’ jersey, while Jeh sported an ‘Argentina 10’ shirt, reflecting the family’s enthusiasm for football. Kareena, dressed in a brown blazer and skirt, kept her look simple and chic, adding only a brown heart emoji to the post. The actress was seen holding her sons’ hands as they posed together for the picture.

The G.O.A.T India Tour 2025 Mumbai leg follows a high-energy event in Kolkata. Authorities have shared detailed guidelines for spectators at Wankhede Stadium to ensure smooth operations and safety. Several items are strictly prohibited, including backpacks, laptop bags, helmets, umbrellas, bottles, lighters, cans, musical instruments, flammable substances, fireworks, weapons, metal containers, animals (except guide dogs), tobacco products, e-cigarettes, and outside food or drinks. Smoking inside the stadium is also banned. Any items found during security checks will be confiscated, as no storage facility has been arranged.

Commercial banners, flags, or clothing carrying logos that clash with official sponsors or count as ambush marketing will not be allowed. Recording or broadcasting visuals using cameras, mobile phones, or other devices is also prohibited. Violators may be asked to leave and have their devices confiscated.

Alongside Kareena, other Bollywood celebrities, including John Abraham and Jackie Shroff, are expected to attend the event. Fans and spectators are gearing up for an exciting evening as Messi takes centre stage in Mumbai, bringing global football fever to the city.
