Chapter 1

The incident was taking place in a warehouse. We see a light coming from the far corner of the room, there are many men standing in a circle over there. In the middle of the circle was a man tied on the chair. Next to him was a young man standing, looking at the man at the chair. The man in the chair was a middle aged man; he looked pleadingly at the man standing in front of him. There were many chains and rings of gold on the fellow tied to the chair, indicating he was a rich fellow .the atmosphere in the room were completely silent. The man in front of him was a young man of 30 years of age. He wore a black suit and a matching tie. There was a look of elegance in his style, his face was more than just handsome, he looked like a Greek god who had descended on earth. His eyes were really mysterious. He looked down at the man in front of him. There was not even a look of pity on his face

Finally the man who was standing broke the silence

Man: so mr malhotra, it seems that you have broken many rules we had agreed upon when we signed the deal, don't you think its cheating, stealing 5 crore of the profit which was to be shared by both and cooking up a false story that the money was stolen by some thieves as it was brought to the city. Clever idea eh?

M: please udayveer, please forgive me for once. I will never ever repeat it. I will return the entire monet to you even my share, please leave me free. I promise to never ever cheat you, please

U: (very harshly) enough, I don't want to listen to more lies 😡

M: udayveer please…😕

U: I said enough, is that clear. There is only one punishment for cheating in udayveer,s life and it is death

Saying this he took a sleek looking revolver, attached with a silencer and aimed it at mr malhotra's head and BANG

Mr malhotra's body slumped back on the chair🤢

Udayveer wiped out the blood from his face and turned to one of the men standing in that circle

U: ramsingh, dispose the body. Don't leave any trace. And don't speak a word about this to anyone or…….

R: yes sir I will do it

Udayveer then left the place. 5-6 bodyguards followed him. they left the place into the dark night

Ramsingh was digging a huge hole under the bridge, by the marshy lands. It was late night. No one passed that way at this time.

The body of mr malhotra was kept in a bag by his side

He was digging the hole using the light from his cell

Manyata was returning home after her duty time.. it was a silent night without much vehicles. She asked the driver of the jeep to allow her drive. Driving gave her some peace of mind. As she was passing by the overbridge she saw a small light coming from the marshy land under the bridge. Usually this area was completely empty this time of the night. Not a sign of life would be seen lest a faint trace of light, that too from the marshy area

She stopped the jeep and asked the driver to accompany her silently as she went to investigate the matter. the police in her sprang into action . it was her nature to investigate anything extraordinary. She took her revolver in her hand ready to shoot in case of any sort of danger. Both of them silently moved down by the side of the bridge. It was a slightly slippery and they tried the best not to slip and fall. In front of them they saw the scene under the light coming from ramsingh's cell. A man was digging a huge hole. He was waist deep under the soil and he continued to dig. He was oblivious of their presence.

Next to the hole was a big plastic bag, filled with something, that looked close like a human body from outside.

Manyata pointed the gun to the man inside the hole and said

M: hands up, this is the police

Ramsingh got frightened at the prospect of being caught by the police. If he was caught then udayveer sir will kill him for sure. It was his mistake. He needed to escape. Udayveer never forgave any mistake. That too in this magnitude. The only punishment he would give was death. Ramsingh was running away not from the police but from udayveer

He jumped out from the hole and ran away from them, manyata and her driver followed him close, but he was real fast .he jumped into the river and started to swim to the other side. Manyata too followed him. they swam both were racing. One for his life and the other for catching the fellow for running away

Manyata's driver in the mean time informed the police to reach the overbridge area immediately.

As they were about to reach the bank manyata caught him by his collar and kicked him hard. He lost his conscious. She pulled him and swam ashore only to be greeted by a dozen of police officers, their guns pointing towards ramsingh. She handed him to the police . someone brought her a towel and she dried herself in it. her driver escorted her to the police control room

Manyata dried herself and went to the interrogating room. The person was already beaten up by the police officers, yet he refused to name the guy. Finally as manyata used the third degree he named the person, udayveer.

Manyata could not believe it at first. He was a reputed person. She then consulted the DGP of police

He listened to her talks without interrupting. Finally he said

Dgp: this killing is just the tip of the iceberg. There are a lot of crimes which uday and his partners committed that has not come before law. Actually there is no evidence against them. If someone does come with some evidence, Soon they find a way to make him shut his mouth and in the court the witness turns hostile, thus making us police a fool in front of the law. Udayveer and his gang has escaped punishment all these years by making a mocking stuff of the police department. So manyata I entrust you to gather evidence against udayveer by any way. Is that clear. And don't discuss this case with anyone other than i. you don't know who is a friend and who is a traitor. I will give you 2 officers whom I trust to help you in the case. One is jaggat sinha you must be knowing him

M: yes sir

Dgp: and manyata bring me back only good news. Let this be a matter of life and death for you

M: sir

Dgp: and to the outside world you will be investigating the 1 crore worth drug case. Do some rough work on it too. Let no one ever doubt that you are behind udayveer or them you will be back only in your coffin

M: yes sir. I will bring uday in front of the law. This is my word

Udayveer was sitting in his penthouse, enjoying a couple of drinks with manu Sharma his business associate

U: so let us toast this drink to the poor soul of mr malhotra😆

M: yes, he should never ever cheat anyone again

U: he deserved what he got. Anyone who cheats me will get that punishment.i will never ever forgive any one who cheats me

He gets a call . he pick s the phone and smiles

U: yes

The expression on his face turned from amusement to extreme anger. He cut the call and threw the glass on the wall

U: that bl***y ramsingh. I will kill him😡

U: that idiot was caught by the police along with malhotra's body. I want him to be silenced immediately

M: what? He was caught? Ok I will make sure he is not present to give evidence in court

U: ok but from now on we need to be careful, one more mistake. Then we all will end behind the bars

M: yes we need to be careful.

The next day newspaper had this following headline

BUSINESS MAN SHOT, UNDERWORLD CONNECTION SUSPECTED

There was no news about ramsingh's capture or the events that took place at night

Manyata asked the DGP why it was so

Dgp: we must not give clues that there is a person who is in police custody. If they know about it then we will lose our chance to bring the culprits before law. Even ramsingh's life may be in danger. So that why such a newspaper report

M: yes sir it is really a good idea

There was a knock at the door and a police officer came in and saluted . his face showed that it was a bad news

Officer: sir that ramsingh committed suicide in his cell, it was discovered today morning. He used the bedsheet in his cell to hang himself

Dgp: what? Ok you can leave

DGP to manyata : so they learned about ramsingh. Manyata you have to be really carefull. Its udayveer that you have to be careful. Watch all your steps from all sides

It was 6 days after ramsingh's death . uday was in his office watching his new PA. shreya

She looked sweet. Uday loved challenges and the mystery behind this girl was his new challenge.
