About Pakistani dramas, I watched 3-4 popular ones, they were good.. but even though they wound up in 20-25 epis, I found them a bit slow, and most of them dealt about same family issues, so was wondering why it is so highly praised

Have never watched anime as such.. Anything u can suggest with good simple story for a beginner? 😛

pakistani drama r very same to indian ,they have in all drama dusri aurat" n " saas n bechari bahu " n we have saas bahu kitchen politics ...but our love stories r very passionate,there indian drama better.

Sony tv has good content but air at sleep time. Shows like yrkkh are praised by IF and it shows IF writers too are obsessed with shows like yrkkh naagin etc

Yes even I watch only Big Boss Marathi.The only good show on tv was Dil Sambhal jaa zara on Star plus ,but they ended it abruptly due to low trp.Even now people keep asking the cast on instagram to start the show again as it was so good,but unfortunately it depends on the channel.

Pakistani shows are crap. They are even more regressive than Indian shows where I've seen rapists being spared and women accepting infidelity with open arms. In every show, the man has two wives fixed.

the only shows I follow nowadays are Haar Saakh Pe Ullu Behte Hagi, Jeeja Jim Chat pe Hai, Bhabhi Ji Ghar pe Hai, Khichi and Marian Khan(just because the kid is really good actor, and obviously Priyanka Kandwal is such a milky cutie).
Comedy serials are at least tolerable because they have their own universe where the stupidity is deliberate and meant to be stupid unlike the shows which meant to be drama but tend to be comedy unintentionally.

POW was an indian show and I swear on my beloved novels, it was shot like an Americam one with an Indian touch to it, but unfortunately, it never got the TRP it deserved. The fault lies with the audience. New concepts have been attempted on the television industry, some of the TV channels have given a chance to fresh stories, but what can be done if these shows are not appreciated by those for whom they are made? It's telly sad.

I used to watch hip hip hooray as a kid and a couple of years ago rewatched it on YouTube (all the episodes were there then, don't know if it's still the case) and I was shocked to see the issues being discussed. There was an episode on live in relationships and children born out of wedlock and today the male lead would be talked out of honour killing the lady. Damn, times have changed.
