Box Office India stated that Alone has had the highest opening of the four major films released in its weekend, opening with 50% occupancy nation wide and full houses at some SINGLE screens.[9] Daily News and Analysis stated that "Alone, on the other hand managed a decent business in the range of Rs 14 crore in the first three days itself. Made on a comparatively lower budget, the film will have another few days to bring in few more crores and trod into the hit space."[10] FilmFare also reported that the movie had a good weekend making 14.65 crores in the opening weekend, and further stated that "Bipasha and Karan's sizzling chemistry has grabbed many eyeballs and is working in the film's favour."[11]
