After witnessing a decent first day by banking a sum of 
4.57 crore approximately, the Bipasha Basu - Karan Singh Grover starrer, Alone enjoyed a good weekend.
The film was expected to fare better over the weekend if not take a big jump and that's pretty much what happened. It managed a sum of 4.45 crore and 5.63 crore on Saturday and Sunday respectively. The total weekend collection of the film now adds upto 14.65 crore approximately.
Given Alone's horror genre, the film is targeted for the single screen massy audience and it working wondered in that domain. Bipasha and Karan's sizzling chemistry has grabbed many eyeballs and is working in the film's favour.
From the looks of it, the film is now heading for a decent weekend.
On the other hand, Shankar's I witnessed a fantastic weekend. Despite getting a lukewarm response from Bollywood audience, the film is minting massive numbers down south. A lifetime total of around 150 crore looks realistic at this point. Check em out...

-not sure as yet, according to BOI it is a flop, according to rediff it is an average, according to KOIMOI it has managed to make profit, and last week DNA said that a few more cores and the movie can be declared a hit! Waiting for more info, I hope DNA/TOI reports on it! As of now I am predicting that it is an average!
Bipasha Basu's latest horror film, 'Alone', has failed to shock viewers or the Box Office. It seems to have fizzled without a trace.
It's lacklustre opening saw it make Rs 9 crore on opening weekend.
With mixed reviews and lack of any post-release buzz, 'Alone' will go down as a frightfully forgettable flick.
