Appearing alongside actress Poonam Dhillon, Shatrughan lightened the mood with his words for the media present. He said, “Aap log pant bhi achhi pehente hain aur shirt bhi achhi pehente hain.” The remark, which highlighted the paparazzi’s dressing sense, prompted laughter among attendees. Poonam Dhillon appreciated his positive tone, noting that with such energy, it felt as if “the new year has already begun.”

Shatrughan Sinha, who has largely focused on politics and public life in recent years, has appeared on screen only occasionally. His last notable film role was a cameo in Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se (2018), where he played himself in a light-hearted sequence with fellow industry veterans.

She said, “Bahar drain-pipe type gande-gande pants pehen kar, haath mein mobile le kar… they think just because they have a phone, they can take your picture and say whatever they want, along with the kind of comments they pass.”
