It was already mentioned that he would do it for 2 weeks - somehow an oppressive contract...and it seems that he succeeds - at least for the moment. His connections seem to allow him such shady (criminal?) proceeding - one of others he already got away with.

I largely prefer a movie where love is shown not as a kind of powerplay but as a force that is beneficial to a person's progress. In Tere Ishk Main, it was one - for a certain time - but only for one of the characters... in this movie, here it has that force, too, but in another way (although both are drama movies).

In ISHQ movie, Kajol was carrying a young Fatima in one scene.

Weekend box office figures

According to early estimates from Sacnilk, ‘Gustaakh Ishq’ opened with Rs 50 lakhs on November 28. On day 2, with a fall of 10 per cent, it went down to Rs 45 lakhs. Now with another big drop, on Sunday, day 3, it collected Rs 21 crore, as per the early estimates, in the domestic market. The total collection of ‘Gustaakh Ishq’ stands at Rs 1.16 crore

The movie has better ratings than Tere ishk mein on imdbq

It is - as far as I know - a better film in terms of storytelling, well thought through development of the emotional part and with a very esthetically made rendition of the subject. However, from the get-go, I was sure that the movie won't get its due (its due, imo) just because of the beauty of the subject. If one looks at the way the life in India has changed in the last ten years, certain movies (not only this one) don't get a big audience anymore after the Pandemic.

I don't know about Fatima but I'm sure that Naseer's and Vijay's performances are top-notch
