CHUBBY Mom or BOLLYWOOD Diva?

šŸ˜† Sure, it is important to be a mom like Aish and several other Bollywood actresses (Karisma, Kajol, Juhi, Madhuri, etc.) have done the same thing. But, they have given up the title of Bollywood diva and the glamorous lifestyle. Many celebrity moms have also proved that they can shed those extra pounds, still being fit and stylish.
However, with the exception of Kajol, many new age moms have not maintained their careers well. Sridevi, Madhuri, Juhi, Karisma disappeared into thin air. Karisma might have a comeback movie, but will people care now? Hopefully, the same thing will not happen with Aish.
Can these women still be a source of inspiration for women all over the world? Can Aish get her hour-glass figure again? I guess we will have to wait and watch. In the meantime, please share your thoughts. 😊

It's upto them how they feel about themselves and their bodies or if they want to be fit and stylish or just happy with weight which is not bad thing either, it depends what they are comfortable with rather being an inspiration to everyone else as long as they inspire their own families and close one.
Kajol is lucky i think she wasn't special in Fanaa, We are family was a flop, but i give credit to her for trying

Karishma Kapoor is a mother of two and has never looked better! šŸ‘šŸ¼ I don't know abt others but I cant wait to see her onscreen again! She is my absolute favourtie!!
In terms of work Kajol has Karan and SRK, who've offered her films after she became a mother... I liked her a lot in Fanaa and MNIK.. She is vlearly very selective with her work and doesnt do too many films now.

It's also up to us the audience what we want to see and just what message we want to give the world about ourSELVES.
YES, we ARE women, and like it or not having children and being a "mom" does make our bodies change from those of an untouched 15 year old.
Yes indeed.
The question is do we go to films to have our noses rubbed into the fact that some people are more in keeping with the fashionable ideal of what is sexually desirable...or do we go to films to see people like US glorified that we might vicariously live our dreams and see ourselves as heroines; as people who are multifaceted and whose entire souls and personalities don't suddenly change to some cliche of all suffering parenthood, simply because we gave birth and outgrew our teens.
In all actuality personalities stay largely the same---habits may change and so may goals but the basic YOU stays the same. So what the hell is so WRONG about a "chubby mom" still having spirit, and spunk and curiousity?
Now, I am assuming that few of the people reading this are teen or twenty-something guys who basically want to see a woman who is "do" able on screen and think that if they don't want to have sex with a woman she has no right to exist unless she's their family.
That's total crap. Everyone is someone's family and obviously everyone who DOES exist has a right to do so...and wa ALL have personalities. Even people who don't decide on an abortion and therefore become "moms" and even those who aren't physically built to be on trend with the fashions for boyishly thin and tall women.
So hell yeah, I want to see someone like ME appreciated. In fact, I'll go you one better. If you DON'T like people like me...chances are damned good I won't like you and your films enough to bother to waste money on them. Insults cut both ways.
Tha's why where I live we try (not that we succeed all the time) but we TRY to also show people who don't look like Jennifer Anniston in a good light. Everyone wants to feel worthy and worth while. Incidentally that's why I LIKED Bollywood films in the first place. I got fed the heck up with the idea that I had to look like Gwyneth Paltrow or some other tall, raw-boned blond white woman to be worthy of screen time.
Diva is an attitude, and not tied to age or stage of physical development.

Kajol was always an exception. To begin with she was never as pretty or beautiful as Juhi,Mads,Karisma..To add to this she had zero style sense..Will always turn up shabbily dressed in all awards/parties..About her selection of movies less said the better..She selects the silliest scripts at times..Actresses think ten times about risking their career before getting married..Kajol simply doesnt care and got married at the peak of her career..Least passionate about stardom hence no versatality..STILL I love her to bits so do many others..She has some magic on screen and also the 'SRK' factor is the greatest advantage(thank you SRK for that lol)..But she doing justice to her talent and putting in effort seems like a far fetched though

Ash is totally different..She is so career oriented and passionate about her work..Her beauty will always be appreciated and diva status will live on for years.Definitely will follow route of lolo and maintain her figure

Ummm...Aish never had an hour-glass figure so I don't think she has anything to worry aboutšŸ˜•. Karishma was the only one who had an amazing firgure during her last few movies and now she looks mind-blowing. I am personally a Madhuri fan and I think she glows even after being a mommy😳
Kajol is an exceptional actress..personally Ash is nothing compared to her. Kajol was amazing in Fanaa, U, Me and Hum, and of course My Name is Khan - these were all movies she made after she became a mother. In the past few years, I can't remember an Ash movie which made me go wow, so hopefully when she does return after motherhood, she'll give us something worth watching.

Kajol's mostly only worked with Dharma and YRF after marriage i think, so she had great support. Others not so much. Juhi is doing it on her own now, but i doubt about the others. Yah one leaves and are respected, but they're never loved as much as they were when they were at the peak. New craze keeps on popping in. Whether it's with hollywood or bollywood. Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake were such famous disney stars, yet today they're almost forgotten to be a part and it's more about Selena and Miley. Similarly, it's the case in Bollywood. We still love them, but no matter what it's more about Ranbir, Imran, or Ranveer today. So many ppl are sick of the Khans (not me, i love em) however it's a fact. I don't think people wanna see these girls again because everyone thinks oh they're married isne kya movie karni hai yaar, amma lagti hai (literally ive heard that typa language). Theyre more interested in sexy young chicks. I watched Murder 2 and boy the sounds in the theatre... Everyone was going crazy for Jacqueline and the sex scenes... It was uncomfortable! But when these girls were fit and young back in the days, everyone was crazy for them too, so i guess it balances out. New fads come out old ones disappear. A few years later, these same girls will be remembered as the waheeda rehman, rekha, zeenat aman, etc.

You make it sound as if it's the end of the world if women become mothers

And last I checked, I thought Katrina was the only one with the real hour glass figure...the rest of them are sticks and I don't think Aish ever had that body type even when she was skinny

I don't know why people consider Kajol's career a success after marriage. All she does is do the same thing over and over with her cronies. I'm sorry but someone like Juhi who at least attempts to do different type of work is a much better example of a successful married actress. Kajol is not even commercially successful, her notebook inspired film sank without a trace, WAF -> same thing. No critical or commerical success for either. As for the other two Fanaa and MNIK, we all know the credit goes to the Khans and the Chopra/Johars for the BO success.

Who is Kajol appealing to anyway? She is neither a Katrina nor a Nandita Das. Beats me. šŸ¤”

I think the biggest challenge for married actresses or actresses who are mothers is getting good roles. Most of them don't get good roles and that's why it appears as if they have got 'selective'.

I mean, sure they have to take time out for their kids, but the real reason for cutting out on work is the dearth of offers. Not everyone has a KJo or an SRK y'know! šŸ˜†

Aishwarya never had an hour glass figure to begin with, in fact she never worked towards achieving one. She never exercised all her life except for a couple of months for Dhoom 2 (that too because she had to shed off those extra 20 pounds she'd gained for Bride and Prejudice). She has always been slim and had a good healthy body, always!

Coming to her career. I think Aishwarya delivered some great performances after marriage, like - Guru, Jodhaa Akbar, Sarkar Raj, Raavanan, Guzaarish - for which she was highly applauded as well. She is very passionate about acting, so she has already planned on doing two films next year. So I think she is will still remain the Bollywood diva that she is! 😊
