Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Rani Mukerji and others attend Sooraj Barjatya’s daughter’s wedding celebration

Several prominent names from the Hindi film industry were seen in Mumbai on Thursday evening as they attended the wedding reception of filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya’s daughter Eesha Barjatya. The event brought together actors, directors and musicians who arrived at the venue to congratulate the newly married couple, Eesha and Abhishek.

In a few videos from the event, Barjatya was seen posing with the newlyweds for photographs. Eesha appeared in an embellished silver saree gown while Abhishek wore a blue suit for the reception.

Videos and photographs from the reception surfaced on social media soon after the celebrations began. Among the early arrivals was veteran actor Rekha. She was seen greeting photographers while posing briefly for pictures. Rekha attended the reception wearing a green, beige and golden saree and acknowledged the paparazzi with a smile before entering the venue.

Actor Salman Khan also attended the event and was seen arriving with security personnel. He wore a royal blue shirt paired with a matching blazer and trousers. The actor briefly paused to pose for photographs before heading inside.

Aamir Khan arrived at the reception with his son Junaid Khan. Both were seen posing together for photographers stationed outside the venue. Aamir chose a blue shirt with a dark suit and trousers for the occasion, while Junaid opted for a dark blue kurta paired with white pyjamas.

Actor Rani Mukerji also attended the celebration. She wore a white and green embellished suit. Vicky Kaushal was seen arriving with his father Sham Kaushal and appeared in a beige suit. Actors Anupam Kher and Anil Kapoor were also spotted together at the venue in ethnic outfits.

Several other personalities from the film industry were present at the gathering. These included Tabu, Rajkumar Hirani, Sonu Sood, Supriya Pathak and Imtiaz Ali, among others. Singers and actors such as Udit Narayan, Sonali Bendre, Neena Gupta and Jackie Shroff were also seen arriving for the celebration.

Sooraj Barjatya, who married Vineeta Barjatya in 1986, has three children including Eesha, Avnish and Devaansh. His son Devaansh’s wedding reception in 2019 had also seen several Bollywood personalities in attendance.

Sooraj Barjatya made his directorial debut with Maine Pyar Kiya in 1989. He later directed films such as Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!, Hum Saath-Saath Hain, Vivah and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. He also received the National Film Award for Best Direction for Uunchai in 2022.
