About Hansika’s marriage & troubles in it

Hansika and Sohael got married on December 4, 2022, in a lavish ceremony at Mundota Fort in Jaipur. Their wedding was a big hit on social media, with fans sharing lots of photos and videos. Before the wedding, Sohael proposed to Hansika at the Eiffel Tower in Paris in November 2022. She posted pictures of the proposal on Instagram with the caption, "Now and forever," making their relationship official.

Rumors about trouble in their marriage started in 2025 when Hansika removed wedding photos and pictures with Sohael from her social media. Reports later said they had been living apart since July 2024.

According to Hansika's lawyer, Adnan Shaikh, the couple filed for divorce by mutual agreement. He mentioned that Hansika didn't ask for any alimony or maintenance in the settlement.

It is pertinent to clarify that our client has made no claims whatsoever for alimony or maintenance, as her sole intention was to bring a dignified and peaceful closure to the marriage. Our client now wishes to move forward with her life and professional commitments, the lawyer said.

The divorce filing reportedly said that the couple realized they had major differences in their personalities, views, and lifestyles after a short time together. These differences caused disagreements, leading them to separate. Their families and friends tried to help them work things out and stay married, but it didn't work.

Professionally, Hansika's most recent appearance was in the 2024 movie "Guardian," directed by Sabari and Guru Saravanan. The film also featured Suresh Chandra Menon and Sriman in key roles. "Guardian" got mixed reviews when it came out.
