Talented actor-filmmaker Divya Khosla Kumar walked the Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) here for "Garo by Priyangsu and Sweta" on the final day of the gala's summer-resort edition here.

She looked no less than a diva in a floor-length kalidar with patchwork and embroidered peplum top with a sharara.

The collection was titled "FEMMES di TAHITI' and took its inspiration by native Tahitian prints, colours and motifs. The designs also saw the incorporation of beautiful floral landscapes and bohemian style of Tahitian women with an eclectic French Polynesian flavour.

The garments were easy flowing silhouettes having a soft handloom chanderi, cotton matka, woven bapta silk and chiffon textures with vibrant colours straight out of works of the master of avant-garde Paul Gauguin.

Of the showstopper dress that she flaunted, Divya said: "It is a beautiful dress which is wearable at any occasion. It is a very light-weight outfit and the designers, Priyangsu and Sweta of Garo have made the entire collection with a material which is so easy-to-wear, soft and easily likable."

Launched in Kolkata, Garo by Priyangsu and Sweta is an Indian luxury brand that creates and designs contemporary Indianwear for women. It is named after a tribe in Assam.
