Sidharth Malhotra's family takes the Virat Kohli-Anushka Sharma route in requesting for privacy

Kiara Advani, Sidharth Malhotra are the latest new parents of Bollywood. She was blessed with a baby girl on July 15, 2025. The child was born at the Reliance Hospital in town. As of now, mom and daughter are doing fine. It seems like the actress will be in the hospital for few more days. Sidharth Malhotra’s mom and dad were seen paying her a visit yesterday. Today, we saw his brother who is also in town for this joyous occasion. The actor’s side also distributed sweets to the paparazzi but requested them to avoid clicking pics of the newborn. The pink boxes look super cute.

We know the paparazzi craze for celeb babies is unreal. There are some who do not mind a few pics while coming out of the hospital but SidKiara want to keep it private. Many Indian families do not want to give a glimpse of the infant before three to four months as they fear nazar (evil eye). Even if they are not superstitious, then every family has a time frame post which they do a reveal for outsiders. Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma started this trend of giving sweet boxes to paps with a request to respect privacy of the family.

Sidharth Malhotra had told Zakir Khan some years back that his mom nags him to marry and settle down. He also said that they wanted a grand-daughter as his brother has a son. His mother was keen on a girl child. It looks like God heard the prayers of the family. Fans noted how Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra are now all parents to baby girls. Varun Dhawan became a father last year. Sidharth Malhotra has a number of big projects in his hand like Param Sundari, Vvan and Race 4. Kiara Advani is also waiting for the release of the biggest movie of her career – War 2.
