'Kesari Chapter 2' trailer: Akshay Kumar, R. Madhavan & Ananya Panday promise a gripping battle for justice

After all the hype and buzz surrounding the film, the much anticipated trailer of 'Kesari Chapter 2' is out. The 3 minute clips gives us a peek into the striking court room drama that took place to dig out the truth behind the infamous Jallianwala Bagh Massacre.

Starring Akshay Kumar as Sir C. Sankaran Nair, the film tells the powerful story of one man's fight against the British Empire. The film is based on real events that shook the entire nation. It follows Sir C. Sankaran Nair, a fearless lawyer and freedom fighter, who took on the mighty British rulers in his quest for justice.

The trailer showcases intense courtroom battles, gripping action sequences, and a story filled with emotion and patriotism. Along with Akshay Kumar, the film features Ananya Panday as Dilreet Gill and R. Madhavan as Neville McKinley. Presented by Dharma Productions, Cape of Good Films, and Leo Media Collective, Kesari Chapter 2 is directed by Karan Singh Tyagi.

The film is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Amritpal Singh Bindra, and Anand Tiwari. It is co-produced by Marijke deSouza, Somen Mishra, and Vedant Baali, with a screenplay written by Karan Singh Tyagi and Amritpal Singh Bindra.

Earlier sharing an emotional note about the project, producer Karan Johar had mentioned how he feels that this is one of his 'proudest' project. While it took years to get on floors and turn out into the film it is, it will be worth all the efforts and the wait.
