Introduction

Akshara and Abhimanyu Birla are married (arranged) for a year now and so are Neil and Nimisha. Akshara is doing her PhD but nobody knows she is Mrs Birla. Everybody knows her by her maiden name in the university. Abhimanyu and Akshara have a cordial Relation not even friendly. They are ok with each other and not developed the bond as such. Akshara is a good daughter in law and everybody in the family love and respect her. Neil and Nimisha have a love marriage.

Chapter 1

It was a normal day in Birla House but all the family members excluding Abhimanyu and Akshara had gone out for Pooja early in the morning.

Akshara woke up and saw Abhimanyu was not there and realised he was in the washroom as usual. Akshara got up from the bed and tied her hair in a bun and moved to Abhimanyu's cupboard to take out his clothes. This was her routine. She put his clothes on the bed and moved to her closet to look for her clothes. She chose her dress and put it adjacent to Abhimanyu's suit on the bed.

Abhimanyu came out of the washroom in a vest and trouser and headed towards the dressing table. Akshara took her suit and went to freshen up. She left the dupatta on the bed.

Abhimanyu started dressing up and once Akshara came out of the washroom with hair tied in a towel. Akshara unwrapped the towel.

Abhimanyu: aaram se as water sprinkled on his face

Akshara:sorry dhyan nai raha

Abhimanyu: isn't that dupatta too bright.

Akshara put her hair to one side and picked up the dupatta and places it on her shoulder and looked in the mirror and asked "is it"

Abhimanyu: looking nice just that never seen this color on you before.

Akshara smiled and left.

Akshara was in kitchen smiling to herself and preparing coffee for him.

In the room:

Akshara: your coffee

Abhimanyu: thanks. Why is there so much silence in the house?

Akshara: Wo sab log kuldevi k mandir gaye hain.

Abhimanyu: ok. I am leaving.

Before Akshara could say bye he had already left. After that she too left for the university.

Akshara was in the university but she was gloomy not smiling as she was back in her kitchen. But then she told herself he has always been like that never saying bye to her nor giving her the time to say bye to him. She thinks he has always been busy and a workaholic but loved his family too much especially Anisha.

Her thought process was broken by the ring of her phone. It was her mother in law (MIL).

Akshara: Hello

MIL: beta how are you?

Akshara: Maa we are fine. Did you guys reach safely?Howz Anisha?

MIL: Yes she is fine. Talk to her.

Anisha: Bhabhi how are you ? I missing you both

Akshara: its ok but it was your plan only to leave without telling the two of us. Now enjoy without us.

Anisha: here talk to Nimi Bhabhi.

Nimisha: di how are you?

Akshara: we are fine but why are you people asking as if we haven't met since quite some time. Is everything okay?

Nimi: no di just asked by the way (trying to control her laughter). Bye.

As Akshara disconnected the call she got thinking why they were behaving weirdly but shrugged off the thought and went to the library.

Akshara was super busy in the university, her day was totally hectic as her doctorate degree was almost done and she was doing some penultimate things as it was her final viva tomorrow.

She opened her phone and went straight to the gallery and opened the first picture. All her fatigue just washed away just by looking at the picture. It was Abhimanyu's picture. She had taken it secretly when he was pacifying Anisha.

"Cute" Akshara said and put her phone down smiling to herself.
