I hope Manjiri will do something to make him realise that he has a wife and a personal life too that henis neglecting.

Good that Manjiri scolded Abhi, even if a little and even if it didn’t affect Abhi, she actually said something.

Is Manjiri planning on sending Akshara away from Abhi? That will be brilliant!

Chapter 5

Anisha: maa what decision?

Manjari: Akshara will not stay here now.

All are shocked and Akshara asks why.

Manjari: you have been too stressed out lately but not anymore.

Abhimanyu is sweating. He touches his forehead and thinks what is happening to him.

Nimisha: what are you saying maa? Why are you asking di to leave? How will we live without her?

Manjari: i will not listen to anyone or change my decision. I have called Manish ji, he is coming and will take Akshara along.

Tears drop from Akshara's eyes and Manjari goes to wipe them.

Manjari: why are you crying? Whatever i am saying is for your benefit only. And you are not going forever, its just a matter of one week.

Abhimanyu let out his breath which he was holding unknowingly since long.

Neil: maa you scared all of us.

Manjari: what do you guys think, I can live without her.

Akshara:but maa, is it necessary?

Manjari:of course it is necessary. Its been a year since your marriage and you haven't stayed overnight at you father's place. You always used go and come back in the evening because of your university but now you don't have any excuse. It will be a good change for you.

Akshara: maa whatever you say.

Abhimanyuwas shocked by Akshara's yes. Reason of his shock still unknown to him. And maa leaves the room.

Anisha: sits next to Akshara on bed. Bhabhi you don't like it here, that's why you said to yes to mom.

Akshara(cupping her face): no idiot. Its not like that, i just couldn't say no to her. Nimi and Neil why are you looking at me like this?

Neil: bhabhi I am trying to understand why did mom do this.

Akshara:come sit i will tell you. Do not misunderstand her. She seems to be worried about something, I could see it on her face.

Anisha(interrupting her): yes that's because Abhi bhai told her that he didn't remember his anniversary.

Akshara is shocked and gives dejected look to Abhimanyu. On the other hand Nimi and Neil give Anisha a " you can't keep your mouth shut" look.

Anisha:ok sorry, but bhabhi are you trying to say that mom wants you to go home because bhai didn't remember the anniversary.

Akshara: no not at all. Maa was right that I need a change of environment. I am too tired now Anisha. I will stay with mummy papa for sometime, I will feel better.And it seems its been ages since I have sat down and talked to Aarohi. And I am coming back in a week or 2.

Abhimanyu: what 2 weeks?

All turn towards Abhimanyu.

Abhimanyu: i mean mom just now said 1 week.

Nimi(winking at Neil): ok lets leave now. Let di take some rest.

All of them leave, leaving Abhira alone.

Akshara: if you can't give happiness to someone, don't give them pain atleast. What was the need to tell mom that you didn't remember it. She is so much tensed now. Couldn't you lie to her or change the topic.

Saying this she gets up from the bed to pack her clothes but twists her foot and Abhimanyu catches her in the nick of time. They share an eyelock and Abhimanyu notices she has become pale and still has fever. Aarohi comes to their room and knocks their door which is open.

Aarohi(laughing): jiju enough of your romance now. I have come to take Akshu di.

They straighten themselves and he makes her stand.

Aarohi: jiju you don't feel like letting her go. I know you are not used to her absence. But today is my day I will take her.Right di?

Akshara: yes

Abhimanyu: Aarohi, take care of her and give her food and medicine on time. Doctor said she is too weak.

Aarohi: ok, anything else. I am going downstairs. You guys say bye to each other and come fast.

Akshara: take my bag Aarohi.

Aarohi takes the bag and leaves them alone.

Akshara: if you would have put up this same act in front of mom, she wouldn't have been this worried.

Abhimanyu: Act??? You think I am acting.

Akshara: Mr. Birla its not your habit to take care of me or show concern. Ok tell me when was the last time you asked my well-being.

Abhimanyu couldn't recollect and realized she was correct but before he could answer she was gone.

Akshara reaches her maayka and calls her MIL.

Akshara: yes mom, we reached.

Manjari: ok take care and take your medicine on time.

While they are talking Aarohi's phone starts ringing.

Aarohi: what jiju its been just an hour and you have already started missing Di. I know why you called me because her phone is busy.

Abhimanyu: yes ( in his mind thanking God that Aarohi herself came up with a reason else what could he have said as to why he called her and not Akshara).

Aarohi: yes she is talking to your mom, that's why its busy.

Abhimanyu(surprised): why???

Aarohi: to inform her that we reached. That's why.

Abhimanyu: ok take care of her.

Aarohi: ok bye.

Abhimanyu gets thinking she called his mother and not him.

He is missing her but bolne me to image down hogi na

This one week of separation will be hell for abhi... I doubt he ll land to akshu's house also. He was used to take her for granted as she didn't say anything... Good going😀

What Manjiri did was needed... No one shld b taken for granted... Abhimanyu has to value what he has, who he has in his life... Now that Akshara is not there, he will miss her..
