Samridhii Shukla is an Indian actress and voice-over artist. She started her career as a dubbing artist and her noteworthy projects include lending her voice to The Kissing Booth 2 (Hindi), Gunjan Saxena (English), Project Power (Hindi), and Netflix's 13 Reasons Why. Her acting journey commenced with the Kannada film "Taj Mahal 2," but she garnered popularity as the female lead in the Colors TV serial "Saavi Ki Savaari."

Samridhii Shukla is currently the lead actress of the fourth generation in the popular Star Plus show "Yeh Rishta kya kehlata hai". She is playing "Abhira Sharma", the daughter of Akshara and Abhinav Sharma, continuing the legacy of Hina Khan (1st generation), Shivangi Joshi (2nd gen), and Pranali Rathod (3rd gen) in Yeh Rishta.

The Sharma family stands out for their simplicity, mutual understanding, love, and profound respect. Love in their world isn't about instant attraction or Bollywood-style grandeur, it is about care, respect and always being there for each other through thick and thin. Their story starts after Akshara's husband divorces and abandons her after her miscarriage. Alone and with no place to call home, she climbs on a bus, where fate introduces her to her future husband Abhinav.

On the day Akshara was to deliver, heavy rain and thunderstorms struck, leaving them without a ride to the hospital. In a heart-touching act of selflessness and goodness, Abhinav strapped a chair to his back, gently securing her, and walked carrying Akshara, all those kilometers on his back through the storm to the hospital. His act of kindness extended in the birthing room, where he nurtures baby Abhir, despite not being the biological father. The most beautiful bond in this show was the bond between Abhinav and Abhir that redefined fatherhood, surpassing biological ties. Abhinav, an orphan unfamiliar with parental love, became the best father to Abhir becoming the very home and sanctuary every child yearns for.

In a tragic twist, Abhinav met his end on his birthday, falling from a cliff just hours after Akshara conceived their daughter, Abhira Sharma. The cruel fate denied Abhinav the chance to know about his biological child.
