Chapter 23

As they are driving they reach a beautifully decorated farmhouse.

Akshara: wow, this is so beautiful. Are we here for some party? What was so surprising in this? You could have told me earlier.

Abhimanyu: come on in (as he parks the car).

Akshara: but if it’s a party why isn't there any other car in the parking?

Abhimanyu: I don’t know. Can we go inside (Holding her hand)?

Akshara: yes.

They enter the farmhouse but it’s all dark and Akshara realizes Abhimanyu has left her hand and she is standing alone.

Akshara: Abhimanyu, Abhimanyu where are you? See if it’s some kind of a prank, then let me tell you it’s a very bad one. You know I am afraid of the dark. I am going out.

As she turns around lights turn on. She turns back and sees the Hall is beautifully decorated and there is a table for two. Abhimanyu comes from behind and holds her waist.

Abhimanyu: did you like it?

Akshara: this is so pretty, but why

Abhimanyu: come sit I will tell you. But first let's have something. You might be hungry as well.

Akshara: when did you do all this?

Abhimanyu: when you were busy the entire day.

Akshara: reason??

Abhimanyu: it's Abhimanyu Birla's first date with his wife so it definitely had to be special.

Akshara(tears in her eyes and holding his hand): thank you so much. I can't believe you did all this.

Abhimanyu gets up from his chair and sits in front of her holding her hands.

Abhimanyu: I know in this past one year I haven't given you any happiness but now I won’t let tears come in your eyes ever. I promise that and kisses her hands.

Akshara: ok now get up. Dinner is getting cold. BTW how come everything is of my taste?

Abhimanyu: just a bit of help from everyone and I got to know your choice and winks at her.

Once done with the dinner he asks her for a dance and she agrees. He puts his hands on her bare waist and she encircles her hands around his neck. They are lost in each other's eyes and just dancing. Abhimanyu twirls her around and when she turns back at him, he is on his knees.

Akshara: Abhimanyu what are you doing? Why are you on your knees? Get up.

Abhimanyu: I want to tell you something holding her hand.

Akshara: yes (blushing)

Abhimanyu:

Maana ki tumse pyaar nahi tha lekin tumhare hone se ek sukoon hota tha.

Maana ki pyaar nahi tha lekin jab bhi tumne khud ko chod k mujhe aur mere ghar ko aage rakha hai to ek sukoon tha.

Sukoon is baat ka ki tum ho to sab theek ho he jaayega. Sukoon is baat ka ki tumhare rehte kabhi kuch galat nahi hoga mere ghar main. Sukoon is baat ka ki mere baad hai koi jo mere ghar ko sambhal sakta hai, ise tootne se bacha sakta hai.

Akshara: Abhimanyu...

Abhimanyu: shhh. I am not done yet.

Aur yahi sukoon kab meri aadat ban gaya mujhe pata he nahi chala. Kab mujhe is sukoon k bagair jeena namumkin sa lagne laga mujhe ehsaas he nahi hua. Kab ye sukoon meri saansein ban gaya pata he nahi chala.

Aur ab mujhe ye ehsaas hua hai ki ye sukoon he pyaar hai. Wo pyaar jo Abhimanyu Birla tumse karta hai, beintehaa pyaar.

Mrs. Akshara Abhimanyu Birla l, I love you. Khud se bhi zyada. Kya tum bhi.

Akshara(makes him stand): I love you too ( and hugs him). Thank you so much for this.I have waited so long for this.

Abhimanyu(still hugging): and I am sorry I made you wait.

Abhimanyu holds her face kisses her forehead, then both her eyes, her cheeks and her nose.

Abhimanyu: Akshara are you ready for this. I mean are you comfortable.

She blushes and turns away from him. He hugs her from behind and kisses her shoulder and lets her pallu fall down. He turns her around and cups her face and kisses her lips deeply. She too holds his hairs and makes the kiss deeper.They part due to lack of oxygen.

He then kisses her neck and Akshara closes her eyes. She throws her neck back to give him more access. While he gives her a hickey on the neck and she moans his name, his hands proceed toward her back and he tries to open the hooks of her blouse. He reaches to her collar bone while kissing her and opens two out of three hooks. Just then his phone starts ringing.

Akshara(barely managing to say as she is breathing heavily): Abhimanyu your phone is ringing.

Abhimanyu(while kissing the other side of her neck): it might be some unimportant call.

Akshara: check, maybe it’s important

Abhimanyu: arghhhhh.

He takes the phone from his pocket and receives without looking who it is. In the meantime Akshara hugs him tight and he wraps his one hand around her waist.

Abhimanyu: hello who's this? Your voice isn't clear.

Akshara while still hugging him opens his tie and kisses him on the neck and he groans in pleasure. She opens the first two buttons of his shirt and kisses him on the chest.

Abhimanyu(looks at his phone to see who it is): why is Neil calling at this time?

Akshara stops and Abhimanyu calls him back (still holding Akshara).

Abhimanyu: Neil what happened? Is everything fine?

Akshara: speaker

Neil: bhai I am in the hospital.

Akshara: Neil what happened? Is Nimisha fine?

Neil:yes she is fine but maa..

Abhimanyu: what happened to maa?

Neil: bhai actually...

Abhimanyu: what actually, speak up? What happened to her?

Akshara: you please relax. Let him talk. Neil tell me what is it?

Neil: bhAbhi, maa is in hospital. She had a heart attack.

Akshara: how is she now? What did the doctor say? Send me the location we are coming.

Neil:doctor said she is stable now. I will send you the location.

Akshara: ok bye. Abhimanyu lets go out till then Neil will send the location.

Abhimanyu( hugging her tight): maa will be fine na?

Akshara: relax, she will be fine as Dr. has said she is stable now.

Abhimanyu: ok let’s move fast.

Akshara: stop. Will we go like this? (while tying her hair in a bun).

Abhimanyu looks at both of them and realizes how they are looking. He stands near Akshara. Akshara buttons up his shirt and takes his tie in her hand. Abhimanyu picks up her pallu and wraps it around her completely. They leave towards the car.

Akshara: give me the keys, I will drive. You sit and relax.

Abhimanyu:ok. Neil has send the location also. Let's leave.

Akshara(while driving): Abhimanyu you have to handle Anisha and Neil, if you will fall weak then who will handle them.

Abhimanyu(holding her hand): thank you.

They reach the hospital and spot Neil. Neil hugs Abhimanyu and Akshara caresses Neil's hair.

Abhimanyu: relax and tell me what happened exactly.

Neil:post dinner I was in my room when I heard some noise from mom's room. I went to check and saw mom was lying unconscious on the floor. Then I brought her here.

Dr. comes out and Akshara goes to speak to him.

Dr: you??

Akshara: I am her daughter in law Mrs. Abhimanyu Birla. How is maa feeling now?

Dr: okkk. She is better now. You can take her home tomorrow.

Akshara sees Abhimanyu smiling.

Akshara: what happened? Why are you smiling so suddenly? Just now you were so worried.

Abhimanyu: when I have you around me, I have no need to worry.

Akshara: ok I will leave now, nimi is alone.

Abhimanyu: why alone? Where is Anisha?

Akshara: she had some camp today.

Abhimanyu: ohh yes she took the fees from me. Come I will drop you.

Akshara: no I will drive. Neil has his car. You two come together tomorrow with mom.

Neil: ok bhAbhi.

Abhimanyu: call me once you reach.

Akshara: ok and starts leaving.

As she is walking her pallu which was wrapped around her completely slips from her hand and is now resting on one shoulder only. Her back is completely visible now. Abhimanyu sees two ward boys standing opposite to him staring at something lustfully. When he looks forward he spots Akshara and what he sees baffles him.

He rushes to her and drags her to a nearby room which is a store room.

Akshara: what happened? You scared me.

Abhimanyu: are you brainless or what? Who walks like this?

Akshara: why are you so angry?

Abhimanyu spots a mirror nearby, drags her there and makes her stand with her back towards the mirror.

Abhimanyu: look.

She turns and she feels embarrassed and hides her face in her hands. She sees out of the 3 hooks of her blouse 2 are still open.

Abhimanyu: you buttoned up my shirt and forgot about yourself.

Abhimanyu while standing in front of her takes his hands around her and closes the other two hooks and hugs her too. She too hugs him.

Abhimanyu: sorry I was rude but you are only mine.

Akshara: ok I will leave now and kisses his cheek.

He escorts her to the parking and she leaves. He spots those two ward boys smoking in the parking. He goes to them and starts beating them ruthlessly.

Ward Boy: sahab kya hua humne kya kiya.

Abhimanyu: kya kiya, meri biwi ko taado ge. Aukaat dekhi hai apni. Dobara kAbhi aisa kisi k saath bhi kiya na, phir main batata hoon tumhe.

And they run from there. He goes back to Neil.

Akshara reaches home and gives him a call.

Abhimanyu: hope you reached safely. Is Nimi fine?

Akshara: yes we both are fine. Ok now you two take rest bye.

Abhimanyu: bye. Tc.

Next morning Abhimanyu and Neil brought their mother home. They took her to the room and made her sit comfortably. Abhimanyu sat by her side and held her hand.

Abhimanyu: maa what is bothering you? Is everything fine?

Akshara(with tray in her hand): what’s this Abhimanyu? You have started your class.Let mom rest and she has to have her breakfast first. Get up now.

Manjari: Akshara I don’t want to eat. You guys have your breakfast first.

Akshara: why won't you eat? You look so weak. You need food for energy because you have to answer all the questions your son.

Everyone laughs and she makes her eat. After that all of them have breakfast too.

Akshara is in the kitchen. Abhimanyu comes and hugs her from behind.

Akshara: don’t you have to go to office?

Abhimanyu(kissing her shoulder): yes I have to but I don't want to.

Akshara: what are you doing, somebody will come here. Go and get ready.

Abhimanyu: no while peppering kisses all over her back.

Akshara(breathing heavily): somebody will come.

Abhimanyu(kissing her earlobes): nobody will come.

Akshara(turning around): you are getting late. Go and get ready and pecks his lips.

She then goes to the room and he is waiting for her with the tie. She starts putting the tie and he holds her waist.

Abhimanyu: btw madam be ready tonight.

Akshara: for???

Abhimanyu: for the thing that was left incomplete yesterday.

Akshara(blushes and puts her head on his shoulder): nothing like this will happen.

Abhimanyu: what do you mean??

Akshara: you forgot Anisha is not here and mom is not feeling well, so I have to sleep with her and winks at him.

Abhimanyu: you are enjoying this, right?

Akshara: what is there to enjoy? I am just saying.

Abhimanyu: ok do whatever you have to do. I am not talking to you.

Akshara: Abhimanyu why are you sulking like a child and laughs.

He leaves without replying to her. She goes to Neil to remind him that they have an appointment with the doctor. She then goes to check Manjari.

Akshara: you are awake? Should I get tea for you?

Manjari: no not yet. I don’t feel like. BTW tell me what was wrong with Abhimanyu?

Akshara: why, what happened?

Manjari: no he didn't say anything but his mood was a bit off.

Akshara: no maa nothing happened. You rest.

She is in the kitchen preparing lunch and thinks to surprise Abhimanyu when Neil and nimisha come back.

Akshara: is everything fine Neil? What did the doctor say?

Neil:everything is fine bhAbhi.

Akshara: did doctor provide some specific diet?

Neil:no the doctor didn't say anything about that.

Akshara: OK. Will you have lunch here or in your room?

Nimisha: no didi we will have it here only.

Akshara: Neil I was thinking, I will take lunch for Abhimanyu to office, will you look after maa.

Neil:yes you go. Bhai will be happy also.

Akshara goes to give lunch to maa and tells her she will have lunch with Abhimanyu in office.

Manjari: ok go.

She gets ready wearing a simple anarkali and leaves for office. In the office everybody knows Abhimanyu is married but nobody knows Akshara by face or name for that matter.

She arrives at the office and goes to the receptionist (R).

Akshara: Excuse me, where is Abhimanyu’s cabin?

R:why? What do you want?

Akshara: no if he is in some meeting, I will wait and sits on a nearby chair.

R: you are so weird. Did I ask you to wait for Abhimanyu Sir? Do you have an appointment and what work do you have with Sir?

Before Akshara could reply soon some other employees (E) come to the reception hearing noises and as its lunch time so everyone is free.

E1: what happened why are you shouting?

R:what else should I do? Look at her, she doesn't have appointment and she wants to meet Abhimanyu sir. Why are you sitting here? Did I ask you to?

Akshara: you please listen to me ( standing up)

E2: listen to her at least.

R: what should I listen? I know such girls. She might have come to ask for some financial help.

"Enoughhhhhh!!!You have spoken a lot"

They all turn back to see Abhimanyu standing with clenched fists.

R: sir look at this girl she is sitting here from past 10 minutes without an appointment.

Abhimanyu: are you in the right frame of mind? Do you know who are you talking to?

Akshara: Abhimanyu listen to me.

Abhimanyu: you keep quite. Why didn't you give me a call? And you (turning to R) she doesn't need your permission but you need her permission to stand here and you all (turning to other employees).

R: sir what are you trying to say?

Abhimanyu: this girl who is standing her (holding Akshara's hand) is the owner of this entire Birla empire Mrs. Akshara Abhimanyu Birla.

R: sir I didn't know this.

Abhimanyu: that's no excuse because there is a way to talk. From tomorrow I don’t want to see you in this office.

Abhimanyu leaves and takes Akshara along to his cabin.

Akshara: Abhimanyu relax. Here drink some water (and hands him the glass)

Abhimanyu: if you were here, why didn't you call me?

Akshara: I didn’t get time. Everything happened so spontaneously.

Abhimanyu: btw you here.

Akshara: I got lunch for you because I know you were sulking when you left from the house and I know you wouldn't have eaten anything and sits on the sofa.

Abhimanyu(remembering he was upset with her and goes to sit on his chair): I am not hungry. You can take it back.

Akshara: why are you so stubborn? Fine I won't also have lunch.

Abhimanyu: why won't you have lunch? You were enjoying in the morning when you were pulling my leg.

She gets up from the sofa, bolts the door of his cabin, heads towards him and sits on his lap.

Akshara: what happened? Why are you so cranky?

Abhimanyu(turning his face away from her): I am not cranky, I am fine.

As Abhimanyu faces away from her, she is about to fall from his lap because he has not held her from back and his hands are resting on the sides. He holds her immediately.

Abhimanyu: what are you doing? You will fall down.

Akshara: not when you are around and encircles her arms around his neck. What did I say so early morning that you aren't having your lunch?

Abhimanyu: nothing (resting his head on the back of the chair).

Since Akshara couldn't take his cranky mood any more, she bends down and kisses his neck letting her lips stay there a little longer leaving a mark and then sits straight (still in his lap)

Abhimanyu: what was this? (with widened eyes)

Akshara: marking what's mine. And you know I can't bare your spoiled mood for a longer time.

Abhimanyu: I am sorry, guess I over-reacted and before she could reply, he cups her face and kisses her deeply.

Both fight for dominance and in the end part due to lack of oxygen resting their foreheads against each other.

Abhimanyu: I love you (kissing her forehead)

Akshara: I love you too (resting her forehead on his shoulder)

Abhimanyu(while caressing her hairs): you should get lunch for me daily and smirks.

Akshara: come let’s have lunch

The yboth have lunch and feed each other. Akshara is now leaving.

Abhimanyu: come I will drop you to the car.

Akshara: no you stay back I will manage. Concentrate on your work because you wasted a lot of time and winks.

She is about leave but notices lipstick mark on his neck and comes back from the door.

Akshara: look up.

Abhimanyu: why? Not satisfied.

Akshara: your single track mind (and lifts his chin and then wipes the lipstick mark from his neck). Bye I will leave now.

Akshara reaches home and goes to check Manjari and gives her medicine. She comes out and sees Neil and Nimisha watching TV in hall with Neil's head in nimisha's lap. She clicks a picture of them and forwards it to Abhimanyu and texts him to get the picture framed.

Neil: bhAbhi when did you come?

Akshara: just now.

Neil:come sit.

Akshara: no you guys watch it and goes to her room.

At night they are having dinner and Manjari also comes to sit with them.

Akshara: why are you here maa? I was bringing your dinner to your room.

Manjari: I am not sick that I will stay in my room. I want to have dinner with all of you.

Abhimanyu: ok, come sit.

Post dinner they all go to their room. Akshara changes and sees Abhimanyu working on laptop.

Akshara: don’t you have to sleep? And yes did you get that frame?

Abhimanyu: yes I had some work. Frame, he will give tomorrow. Btw what do you have to do to that frame?

Akshara: that was a nice picture of them. I thought we will surprise them and I will put it in their room.

Abhimanyu: I am so lucky to have you. You take care of all. Btw aren't you going to maa.

Akshara: yes I am going. I had come to change. Good night

Abhimanyu: good night.

Manjari: Akshara what are you doing here at this time?

Akshara: yes maa. I will sleep with you today.

Manjari: why, I am perfectly fine. Why are you people so worried?

Akshara: maa it’s ok. Please don't deny and sleeps on the bed.

Manjari: you are my stubborn son's stubborn wife. Why would you agree with me?

They both sleep. At night Akshara feels thirsty and sees the jug is empty. She goes to get water from kitchen and notices that the door of her room is open as well as the light.

She goes upstairs and sees Abhimanyu has slept on the couch while working. She goes to him, makes him lie down on the couch slowly and puts a blanket on him. She ruffles his hair, kisses his forehead and turns of the light.

She then goes to her MIL and sleeps.

Chapter 25

Abhi romancing and making up for all the time lost, but the attention that Birla family’s member wants inadvertently becomes a barrier between them. It was sweet of her to make it up to him by visiting him in the office.

Next morning Akshara comes to her room and sees Abhimanyu is in the washroom. She puts his clothes on the bed and goes to kitchen to prepare breakfast. He comes out of the washroom and starts getting ready.

Akshara: your coffee. I will freshen up.

Abhimanyu: ok and sits on the couch.

After some time.

Akshara(from the washroom): Abhimanyu are you there?

Abhimanyu: yes, I am here only.

Akshara: actually, I forgot to bring my clothes.

Abhimanyu(smirks): so I don't mind if you come out just in towel, I have bolted the door.

Akshara: Abhimanyu pleaseeeee. Give me clothes from my Cupboard.

Abhimanyu: ok fine. Wait.

He takes out something yellow colored from her cupboard and goes to the washroom door and knocks. Akshara peeks through a small gap.

Abhimanyu: here take this. Btw I can come inside and help you as well and winks.

Akshara(taking the clothes): don't you think, your shamelessness in increasing day by day( and closes the door).

Abhimanyu: hadh hai, what do you mean I am shameless? My wife, my wish.

Akshara: Abhimanyu what have you given me? In this huge Cupboard, didn’t you find anything else.

Abhimanyu: what is it? I gave you whatever came in my hand first.

Akshara: this is a saree. I can't handle it that's why I wear it occasionally.

Abhimanyu:ok wait i will give you something else.

Akshara: let it be now. I am already late. I have to go downstairs. Arghhhhh.

She comes out of the washroom and picks up his tie. While she is making him wear the tie, the pleats of her saree open and fall to the floor.

Akshara(making a crying sound): this is the reason I don't wear a saree. You go downstairs I will change and come.

Abhimanyu: stop.

He sits down with one knee on the floor and takes the saree in his hand.

Akshara: what are you doing??

Abhimanyu: shhh (looking up to her)

He then folds the saree neatly making nice pleats. Then he gets up with pleats in one hand and with the the other hand he takes her pallu and places it on her shoulder making her bare waist visible.

Abhimanyu: hold this and don't leave them (handing her the pleats).

He goes to the dressing table and looks for a pin. Once he finds it, he takes the pleats from her hands and inserts the pin in the pleats.

Akshara: you know all this. Not bad.

Abhimanyu: yes mam and sits down

He slowly puts the pleats into her saree and Akshara closes her eyes as his cold hands come in contact with her body. Once done with the pleats he looks up to Akshara and sees, her eyes are closed.

Abhimanyu: wow, you look so beautiful and kisses her stomach.

Akshara(moans): Abhimanyu while ruffling her hand through his hair.

Unable to control his urge, Abhimanyu stands up and lifts her in bridal style and places her on the bed. He starts kissing her stomach and then removes her pallu and kisses her neck. He then bites on her neck.

Akshara: ouchh

Abhimanyu: sorry and kisses the bite and then licks it to soothe her pain.

He then proceeds down while kissing her and then there is a knock on the door.

Neil: bhaiya someone has come to meet you.

Akshara: Abhimanyu, Neil is knocking.

Abhimanyu(shouts from the bed not leaving Akshara): I am coming Neil.

He cups Akshara's face and kisses her on the lips and she too reciprocates and in the flow she slightly bites at his lower lip and they break the kiss

Abhimanyu(touching his lower lip): revenge, is it?

Akshara: no actually (blushing) sorry.

Abhimanyu: it's ok and kisses her forehead.

Akshara: somebody is waiting for you downstairs.

Abhimanyu(standing in front of the mirror combing his hair): the whole world gets to know Abhimanyu Birla is with his wife, lets irritate him.

Akshara(laughing):what are you saying and straightens his collar. Did it hurt too much (while touching his lower lip)

Abhimanyu: not at all madam. Shall we?

Akshara: one minute. (She holds his face and sucks at his lower lip slowly to make him feel better). You go I will come and rushes to the bathroom without waiting for his reaction.

Abhimanyu(to himself): she is only mine.

In the washroom Akshara covers her neck with the pallu to hide his mark on her.

He goes downstairs to meet the person. He is from some NGO asking for help. Abhimanyu gives him a cheque and he leaves.

Manjari: come Abhimanyu, have your breakfast.

Abhimanyu: yes maa and sits at the table.

Manjari: how did you hurt yourself? (pointing at his lips)

Nei land Nimisha stare at him trying to control their laughter and Akshara stands embarrassed thinking how will he handle the situation.

Abhimanyu: no maa actually,

Manjari: actually what, say something.

Abhimanyu: maa the mug from which I drank coffee in the morning had a crack so that's why.

Neil spills the juice from his mouth hearing his explanation and Akshara rushes to the kitchen.

Neil: bhai what did you say?

Abhimanyu: wahi jo tune suna, eat your breakfast and dont focu's on other things.

Manjari: where did Akshara go suddenly?

Nimi: maa she might have gone to check that cracked mug and winks at Neil.

Abhimanyu blushes and leaves.

Abhimanyu: maa I will leave now, bye.

Manjari: finish your breakfast.

Abhimanyu: maa I am done. Akshara(shouts) I am leaving.

Akshara(coming from kitchen): you did your breakfast so fast.

Abhimanyu: yes bye.

Akshara: byeee.

Manjari: come Akshara you also have your breakfast. Btw you are looking beautiful in the saree.

Nimi: yes maa you are right.

Akshara gives medicine to Manjari and then goes to her room. She changes the saree and wears a suit.

At Lunch

Manjari: Akshara why did you change, you were looking so pretty.

Akshara: maa I wasn't able to handle it.

Nimisha: ohhhhhhh and winks at her.

There is a knock at the door.

Akshara: I will check

Person: maam these are 2 parcels. One for Mrs. Birla and one for Ms. Anisha Birla. You sign here and he leaves.

Akshara: nimi did you order anything. One is for Anisha.

Nimi: no I didn't.

Neil: open it and I will ask Anisha about the other one.

Akshara: yes. Call her.

Neil: hello, Anisha there is a parcel by your name.

Anisha: yes bhai. It has been delivered today? It's for Abhimanyu bhaiya and bhAbhi. You guys check it. I will call you later bye.

Akshara: what did she say?

Neil: she said open it. And it's for you and bhai.

Akshara: ok but why? Let's see it.

They all sit in Hall as Akshara opens it. While opening it she realizes it's the frame she had asked Abhimanyu for.

Manjari: this looks like some photo frame.

Manjari(stands up and kisses Akshara): how much you care for all. Now show us what Anisha has got for you two.

Nimi: yes di open it.

Akshara(while opening): this also looks like a photo frame.

Neil: wow this is such a nice photo.

Akshara looks at the picture. It's Abhimanyu and Akshara's with Akshara in his arms on the stairs.

Akshara: when did Anisha take this photo? I don't remember at all.

Manjari: it's from the day when you were injured and Abhimanyu brought you down from the room.

Akshara: ohhhh yes. Neil take this to your room. I will take this in mine.

Nimi: di you also put it up on the wall

Akshara: yes

Akshara goes to her room and stands on her bed to fix the frame above the bed. That wall is exactly opposite to the door and the frame is visible from the door itself. She smiles looking at the photo.

After sometime Aarohi comes to meet Akshara.

Aarohi: di how are you? I missed you so much. You didn't come to visit since so many days.

Akshara: i am fine how are you and mummy papa.

Aarohi: they are also fine. I have work with you.

Akshara: ok but first tell me what will you take? Tea or coffee?

Aarohi: nothing.You come with me.

Akshara: where?

Aarohi: I have to do some shopping and you know my choice isn't good.

Akshara: ok fine I will change, till then you meet maa and Nimisha.

Aarohi meets nimisha as well as maa and till then Akshara comes downstairs.

Akshara: maa i will go with Aarohi. I will come soon.

Maa: ok go take care.

They have been shopping for quite some time now.

Akshara: Aarohi are you done.How much shopping will you do? It's already late. Abhimanyu might be coming home as well.

Aarohi: bas i am almost done.

Just then Akshara's phone starts ringing.

Abhimanyu: hi, tell me was the frame delivered?

Akshara: yes

Abhimanyu: ok, fine. Btw where are you? There is so much noise.

Akshara: yes i had come out with Aarohi. She had to do some shopping.

Abhimanyu: ok should I pick you up?

Akshara: no, no. You go home straight. I will also come.

Post dinner Akshara is sitting with her parents and they are talking and laughing.On the other hand Abhimanyu is missing Akshara in their room. He calls her.

Akshara: mummy I will be back, Abhimanyu is calling

Mummy: ok we will also sleep now. Its already late.

Aarohi: di give me the phone, I will talk first (as they both proceed to their room).

Abhimanyu: hello

Aarohi: hi jiju. You didn't sleep?

Abhimanyu: no not yet. Where is Akshara?

Aarohi: missing her already

Abhimanyu: nothing like that. I just called btw.

Aarohi: ohhhh but di has already slept. (Winking at Akshara)

Next morning Abhimanyu calls Akshara but Aarohi recieves.

Aarohi: jiju its just 8. Why are you calling so early?

Abhimanyu: 8 is too late for your Di. Give her the phone.

Aarohi: that's when she is there but not here.

Abhimanyu: what do you mean?

Aarohi: I mean that she is still sleeping.

Abhimanyu: how is that possible? Is she feeling well?

Aarohi: yes she is perfectly fine. She had no work here so she is still sleeping.

Abhimanyu: ohhh. Ok. let her know I had called.

Aarohi: ok bye.

Abhimanyu: bye

Abhimanyu thinks he has never seen her sleeping peacefully. She is always so busy with him Or nimisha in this house that she hardly gets time for herself. He so wants to pamper her, look at her, observe her. He thinks of paying her a visit right now but then thinks what will his in laws think about him coming so early. Just then his phone rings.

Abhimanyu: hello papa, how are you? You called at this time, is everything fine.

Papa:yes all is well. Actually Akshara's mother was saying that since Akshara is here so why don't you also come and we will have breakfast together.

Abhimanyu(smiling to himself): yes Papa I will come.

He reaches their within 10 minutes.

Papa:beta aap aagaye??

Abhimanyu: no actually I thought then their is traffic and I might get late. So I didn't want to make you people wait.

Aarohi(laughing):what jiju at least you should have come up with some believable excuse.

Swarna: is this way to talk to your jiju, Aarohi?

Abhimanyu: mummy she is just joking. Why are you scolding her?

Mummy:go take him to Akshara’s room, till then breakfast will be ready as well.

Aarohi: ok mummy.

She takes him to the room and leaves. He bolts the door and heads to Akshara.

He sees she is sleeping peacefully with her hair messed all over her face. He removes the hair strands from her face.

Akshara: let me sleep Abhimanyu.

Abhimanyu: how does she know I am here.

Akshara: please don't irritate me

Abhimanyu: ohh she is dreaming and smiles.

He sees its only 8:30 and thinks breakfast still has time, so he too can sleep with her. He takes of his shoes and his shirt too (he has his vest on). He goes to the other side and slips into the bed besides her. He puts his arm around her waist and pulls her closer to himself and then kisses her shoulder.

Akshara: You don't let me sleep even in my dreams Abhimanyu.

Abhimanyu chuckles and continues his work of peppering her with kisses. She turns around and hugs him tight, sleeping on his chest. He kisses her hairs and then places her on the pillow and continues to observe every inch of her face. He holds her hand and drifts into sleep.

After an hour and half Akshara’s phone starts ringing and she recieves it.

Akshara: hello,

Aarohi: di its me

Akshara(opening her eyes fully): Aarohi if you are calling me, then who is with me in the room holding my hand.

Aarohi(laughing):breakfast is ready, you two also come and disconnects the call.

Akshara turns her head around (as she is still lying down) and spots him sleeping peacefully holding her hand. She raises herself from the bed on support of her elbow and ogles at his well toned body. As he is wearing only the vest so his muscles are clearly visible. Akshara bends down to kiss his chest and then proceeds to his neck.

Abhimanyu turns around in his sleep such that Akshara’s lips crash on his and he wakes up opening his eyes and Akshara is embarrassed and tries to get up but Abhimanyu stops her.

Akshara: what are you doing here early in the morning?

Abhimanyu: why?? Should I leave?

Akshara: I didn't mean that. I was saying why so suddenly.

Abhimanyu: actually papa called and invited me for the breakfast.

Akshara: okkk, that means you came just now.

Abhimanyu: no i thought later there is too much traffic on the roads so I came at 8:30 only.

Akshara: Abhimanyu and pulls his cheek.

Abhimanyu: what? Let's finish what you started.

Akshara blushes but complies to his demand and they have a long kiss which is broken by the ringing phone. Akshara receives it. Abhimanyu is above Akshara as she is talking.

Aarohi: di what are you two planning, to come down straight for lunch?

Abhimanyu slides her shirt down and kisses her just above the chest.

Akshara(Barely managing to say): no we are coming. What's the time?

Abhimanyu shifts to other side and kisses her.

Aarohi: it's 10:30

Akshara: itna late. We are coming just now and disconnects the call.

Abhimanyu: what happened (in between kissing her)

Akshara: Abhimanyu we are late for the breakfast. What will Papa think?

Abhimanyu: relax he won't think anything, let's continue and winks at her

Akshara: you let it be its all because of you and turns her face around.

Abhimanyu takes it as an opportunity and bites her earlobe and kisses the nape of her neck.

Akshara(pushing him): you won't let me go and gets up from the bed.

Abhimanyu holds her hand and looks her from head to toe. Akshara is wearing a shirt ending just above her knees.

Akshara: whattt????

Abhimanyu: whatever you are wearing is looking good on you. Why don't you wear this at home?

Akshara: its Aarohi's not mine.

Abhimanyu: you should get it too. You look beautiful while licking his lips.

Akshara: kitne, matlab kitne besharam hogaye hain aap. Leave me.

Abhimanyu: you know what I was saying is we are already late and Papa will also not feelgood.

Abhimanyu chuckles and winks at Aarohi. Just then Akshara calls Aarohi from the washroom.

Aarohi: wait a second and after sometime hands her the clothes.

Akshara: what is this Aarohi? You know I don't wear such clothes now.

Aarohi: I know but I don't have anything else. Also whose here its only Jiju. I don't think he will have a problem.

Akshara wears the clothes and comes out in the Hall. Abhimanyu looks at her as she is looking totally different. He has never seen her like this. She is wearing a jeans and a short top. She comes and sits besides him.

Swarna: Akshara why didn't you wake up when Abhimanyu asked you to?

Anokni: mummy what did I do?

Swarna: Abhimanyu told me that he tried to wake you up many times but you were just sleeping like a log.

Akshara: whatttt (glaring at Abhimanyu).

Papa:let it be now. Let's have breakfast.

Akshara(whispering to Abhimanyu): you will pay for this.

Abhimanyu: btw why don't you wear such clothes at home.

Akshara: just like that.

Post breakfast they are sitting and chit chatting.

Aarohi: jiju you had told me that you want to watch that documentary

Abhimanyu: yes the one about that business start up.

Aarohi: I have two tickets of it. Do you want one?

Abhimanyu: why one give me both. I will take Akshara along.

Aarohi: didi and documentary. No chance

Abhimanyu: who's going to tell her it's a documentary and gives her a high five.

Aarohi: di, jiju is calling you.

Abhimanyu: i was thinking let's go watch a movie.

Akshara: suddenly?

Aarohi: I had two tickets but my friends are busy so I thought you two can go.

Akshara: let me change

Abhimanyu: no you are looking fine.

Akshara: sure?

Abhimanyu: yes.

They reach the theater.

Akshara: why does the theater look so empty? Which movie is it?

Abhimanyu: guess we are late. Let's go inside. You will get to know the movie inside only.Also I get very engrossed in a movie so don't feel bad.

Akshara: ok.

They enter and see that it's almost empty with 5 or 8 people only.

Akshara: what is this?

Abhimanyu: i don't know let's sit.

They sit and Akshara sees the title of the documentary and Is annoyed.

Akshara: what is this Abhimanyu? I am leaving.

Abhimanyu: please sit Akshara. I have been waiting for this movie since quite sometime.

Halfway through the documentary and Akshara sees Abhimanyu is so engrossed in the movie and is actually watching it with utmost interest. Akshara thinks mummy se daant lagwayi thi inhone ab dikhati hoon.

Akshara looks around and sees there is a lady sitting 2 seats away from her. She gets up and exchanges seat with her and then Akshara leaves for home as she is hell bored. She drops Abhimanyu a text. After some time Abhimanyu holds the hand of the lady sitting next to him thinking it's Akshara and plays with her fingers.This happens till the movie ends.

Abhimanyu: it was fun na Akshara (still holding hand).

Lady:yes too much but it's not Akshara.

Abhimanyu(immediately leaving her hand): I am extremely sorry mam. I thought it's my wife.

Lady:I know. She exchanged the seat with me and left.

Abhimanyu takes out his phone to call her and sees her text.

Akshara: Enjoyed the movie. Happy driving. I am already home 😘😘😘

Abhimanyu(thinks):you didn't do this right Akshara and heads home.

He reaches home and sees all are sitting in Hall. Nimisha is oiling Neil's hair and his mother is oiling Akshara’s hair. They are all watching some movie on TV.

Manjari: you are back, come sit.

Neil: bhai where were you?

Abhimanyu: nothing I had some work (with an irritated face) and goes upstairs.

Manjari: what happened to him?

Akshara: I will see.

She makes coffee for him and goes to the room.

Akshara: coffee??

Abhimanyu: i am not talking to you.

Akshara: you know what, you look so cute when you are angry (pulling his cheeks).

Abhimanyu: you think this is some joke

Akshara: nope not at all. In the morning you played a prank on me and now I did the same. We are even Mr. Birla.

Abhimanyu: so it's all about being even Mrs. Birla? (Putting his arms around her neck).

Anisha: bhaiya, bhAbhi and rushes to hug themboth.

Abhimanyu: when did you come?

Anisha: just now. Come downstairs, I have got something for you.

She has got color coordinated suits and sarees for both the couples and saree for her mother. They are talking about her camp.

Manjari: come lets have dinner. We are already late.

Anisha: yes maa, I am hungry.

Abhimanyu: where is Akshara?

Akshara(coming from kitchen): I was in the kitchen. Come lets have dinner.

Akshara serves dinner to all.

Manjari: you also sit Akshara. We will serve ourselves.

Akshara: will come just now.

Sh ebrings a bowl from the kitchen and places it in front of Anisha.

Anisha: what is this bhAbhi?

Akshara: check it out.

Anisha: wow butter chicken. I love you bhAbhi and stands to hug Akshara.

Nimisha: di when did you make this? Had she informed you?

Akshara: no she hadn't informed at all. Luckily there was chicken in the fridge so I made it quickly when you all were talking.

Anisha: thank you so much.

Akshara: ok now eat everyone.

Post dinner everyone goes to their room. Abhimanyu has changed and is ready to sleep. Akshara comes and goes to change.She comes out wearing a shirt ending above her knees.

Abhimanyu: not bad Mrs. Birla.

Akshara: now Mr. Birla had demanded something, so I had to fulfill it( while putting lotion on her arms).

Abhimanyu: but when did you buy it.

Akshara: when you were busy in that movie of yours.

In the meantime Abhimanyu gets up from the bed and stands behind her near the dressing table and picks up the lotion bottle.

Abhimanyu(ask sthrough the mirror): may I?

Akshara nods her head in a yes. He puts the lotion on his hand and rubs along one arm while he starts kissing her in the nape of neck. He takes more lotion in his hands and and rubs another arm while still kissing her constantly and now Akshara is breathing heavily.

Abhimanyu closes the lotion and puts it back. He then lifts her and places her delicately on the bed.

Abhimanyu: sleep now.

Abhimanyu comes and sleeps on his side kissing her forehead. Akshara comes to him and places her head on his chest.

Akshara: thanks.

Abhimanyu: what for?

Akshara: just like that.

Abhimanyu: still, why so suddenly.

Akshara: for understanding me always.

Abhimanyu(kissing her hairs): btw I also want to say thank you.

Akshara: why?

Abhimanyu: for coming into my life, for understanding my family like it's own.

Akshara: it is my own.

Abhimanyu: come now let's sleep and engulfs her in his arms.

3 Months Later

Abhimanyu wakes up and sees its 6 am and sees Akshara is not on the bed. He looks around and spots her on the balcony. He goes to her and hugs her from behind.

Abhimanyu: up so early?? All ok?

Akshara: yeah, wasn't feeling sleepy. Coffee?

Abhimanyu:I will have yours only (holds her hand and sips coffee from her mug). Akshara is everything fine? (Kissing her shoulder)

Akshara: yes everything is fine.

Abhimanyu(placing his chin on her shoulder): you don't seem to be fine since yesterday.Since that phone call precisely?

Akshara: which phone call? (Making him sip coffee)

Abhimanyu: bua ji's call. I noticed the change in your expression but i shrugged it off.But now I am pretty sure bua ji said something to you.

Akshara(cupping his cheek with her free hand): nothing like that. You are thinking too much.

Abhimanyu(leaving her): you don't want to tell me, fine.

Akshara(placing the mug on side table follows him and hugs him): what happened, why are you reacting like this?

Abhimanyu(holding her tight): because you are lying. Something is bothering you for sure.

Akshara(clutching his shirt tight): yes something is bothering me but I don't know am I right or not.

Abhimanyu: tell me first. I am not here to judge you (making her face him)

Akshara: you know Bua ji is coming and maa was saying she is a bit strict.

Abhimanyu: so what is exactly bothering you?

Akshara: maa was also saying that she wanted you to marry someone else.

Abhimanyu: so?

Akshara: What if she doesn't like me for you (hugging him with tears in her eyes).

Abhimanyu: so what. What are you trying to say? (Angry).

Akshara: if she asked you to leave me.

Abhimanyu(leaves her angrily): is this what you think of me? Don't you trust me?

Akshara goes to wake up Neil and tells them to leave ASAP. Then she goes back to her room and sees Abhimanyu lying on the bed. She sleeps besides him and places her head on his chest. He engulfs her in his embrace.

Abhimanyu: Did they leave?

Akshara: yes. Time flies as if. Nimi has completed 7 months. I am so excited.

Abhimanyu: so am I.

Everyone is having breakfast when Neil and Nimisha come back.

Manjari: Neil is everything fine.

Neil:yes maa all is well. Now bhAbhi takes so much care of Nimisha that nothing can go wrong. Thank you so much bhAbhi.

Nimi: yes didi whatever you have done for me, I can't thank you enough.

Akshara: ohh now you guys will say thank you to me. Are you listening to them Abhimanyu?

Abhimanyu: yes I am listening and seeing also how grown up my little brother is (twisting his ears).

Neil: bhai it’s hurting, ouchhh. ok sorry, sorry.

Akshara: come now, have your breakfast

Abhimanyu: I will get ready first.

Akshara brings breakfast for them. They are eating while Akshara goes to kitchen to get something. On the way she hits her toe against leg of the table.

Akshara: Neil did the doctor make any changes in her diet.

Neil:no bhAbhi.

Manjari: nimi why aren't you eating? Why are you playing with the food?

Nimi: maa I am not hungry.

Akshara: why so? Keep quiet and eat and she feeds her.

Neil captures their photos. Meanwhile Abhimanyu calls Akshara and she goes. She makes him wear the tie.

Abhimanyu: please don't think about bua ji. Or is it that you are jealous of that girl(winking at her).

Akshara: it’s nothing like that (kissing his cheek).

Abhimanyu spots a red mark on her foot.

Abhimanyu: what's this on your foot?

Akshara: it’s nothing (realizing its blood as she had hit the table downstairs) you go.You are getting late.

Abhimanyu: sit down. Let me check.

Akshara: it’s nothing Abhimanyu.

Abhimanyu(makes her sit on bed and lifts her foot): can't you walk straight? You take care of the entire house, you need to look after yourself as well, just a bit.

Akshara: you are not angry, I thought....

Abhimanyu(while dressing her wound): I am used to all this now. I don't like scolding you because even after that you don't listen to me. You just ignore me. Right?

Akshara(realizes he is taunting her): sorry. I was just walking and I didn't realize when I hit the table. Sorrrryy (holding her ears)

Abhimanyu: it's ok. Please take care. Please. Ok bye.

Akshara: bye.

Post dinner Akshara goes to Abhimanyu in their room.

Akshara: you know what, bua ji is coming here.

Abhimanyu: when?

Akshara: I don't know. She was calling maa.

Abhimanyu: okkkk. Hey why do you look stressed? Please do not worry. Please. Come now let's sleep.

She hugs Abhimanyu and sleeps in his embrace.
