I dont like women being portrayed as weak characters..Women shud be strong and shud know how to fight for their rights..Even some of my cousins got married..they never had any such prb's which Akshara is facing..It makes the show look so unreal..They shud focus on other stuff rather than the crap they are showin these days..The trps are already fallin down ...they will fall further if this continues...Infact the overall veiwership of starplus is decreasing.. One thing i dont like Akshara and his mom is tht they are very confused personalities..

Another thing which i always notice is tht there is a lack of chemistry between the lead couple..Their romance doesnt seem interesting.,It shud be more passionate...N to be honest i feel naitik doesnt know how to act..Wenever both are tryin to be romantic ,somethin goes missing..

I can't believe that akshara can't even step out of the house without their permission, she can't even go to the mall, she has to make excuses. and they let their 'munna' doesn't need permission if he wants to go somewhere (unless he goes with akshara), that is so disgusting.

and they show that every girl is suposed to leave her college/career after marriage and walk around the house with her head covered....like she has no life and nothing better to do. ....what's the point of akshara doing college and all if she will only be trapped in that house...

Well said, it does put every girl off marriage. As the title suggested I thought that it would show how the girl will settle in her new life with the support of her husband and his family. This way girls who are shy of getting married will think about it again including me, but this is putting me off

When I went to Maayka to spend ONE NIGHT because my mom's family was in from out of town- I hadn't seen them in 5 years- she was calling me next day early saying come back - I need you to pick up ----- from store ASAP

Even though herDIVORCED daughter and her three kids are over everyday running a muck, making a mess, spending nights, etc- that she sees nothing wrong with

If we went out to eat- she would not say anything directly but next day - she would purposefully make herself food, eat it when I was at work and make sure there is nothing made --when I got home from work- She was like Oh- I figured you would be eating out so I didn't bother to start dinner

Honestly- We went out to dinner once in like 4 Months and that is how she behaved

Purposefully on weekends- washing blankets/ sheets/ pillows just so she could use the washing machine so I would have to do laundry either late at night or during the week

When ever we go on vacation- even if only for 2 days( think 4 times in 7 years)

She will fake sickness so son calls her 10 times a day or cuts trip short.

Or she calls all the time-" to see if we ate anything or not?" ( like I need you to remind me)

Once we were gone over night not faraway- Her son called her and no answer so he didnot bother calling again

When we got home, she was lying on the sofa, bandage on head (lol)

Apparently she fell down the stairs ( Liar) and had no energy to pick up the phone (liar)

Unfortunately there are so many more and so many worse examples I can give

Inlaws are like this everywhere- we are in Canada - Mother in law has been here since 1970 and she still is like this

OMG.. your life can never be boring... please take all these in a positive frame of mind..and if possible enjoy all these dramas..

I would just like to request everyone who reads this to pray for my sister that she gets happiness and peace in her life (and some sense to her in laws) she has been married for 6 months and it was a love marriage and we knew the guys family for a long time but her in laws are treating her really badly and even her husband doesnt support.he hit her 4 times in 6 months only(hitting only once is unacceptable for me). his mom is creating a lot of problem for them. she is very possessive and scared that her son will leave her for his wife.

I'm at a loss of words to say anything😲......in today's day & age aisa bhi hota hai.😕 beating women, playing with them as doll who is just meant to have sex and making kids is something i dont even know how to react.😡 😲 Just 'coz woman are physically weak that does not mean you can abuse them....... they have this child abuse thing in US which is very sensitive .......we see woman being abused all over world. Physical strenght, financial independance, lack of education amoung woman are major causes for these kind of abuses.

Maybe Indian girls sd think abt getting a pre nuptial agreement done. This is abuse why can't she go the police....you all shd help your sister. So, is your sister working or can she work .....she shd become financially independent by using all her talents and capacities to their fullest potential, which is then more than being a doting wife and she shd kick eveil doers as*.

problem here is Love marriage... and her family will not support her .. or else there should have been a way.. if she is stronger enough, she can pull this thru.. now this marriage life is only 6 months, which is sad ..

unknown18, prayers are not enough.. I am assuming you are 18 years and still dependent on your parents...obviously you are in touch with your sister... tell your parents what is happening... regardless of what kind of marriage it is, they should know what is happening... convience them to support your sister... or the worst IS GOING to happen.... one of the main reason your bil's family is ill-treating her is because they think she has no where to go...
