Not relating to Ishita, is fine. I could never relate to Ishita, because I am never that nice and forgiving a person. But, I defend her always, one because Ishita is a beautifully etched character and two she is the most hated and bashed character so I kinda automatically defend her, my protective side come to the fore when everyone hates one person ! Yes, I am silly that way !
Now, has Adi ever tried to sit down and talk to Ishita ? Mothers definitely are protective, impulsive and impetuous where their children are concerned..
Has Adi ever had good influences in his life ? He was brought up by Shagun and hugely influenced by Ashok, both of whom poisoned him day n night against his father and step-mother. Do you think he will be able to let go of years of indoctrination in a blink of an eye ? Has Adi actually accepted Ishita as his mother or is he just grateful that Ishita saved his life ? He was, is and always going to be Shagun's son. Whether he accepts Ishita as Ishima or not. He will always compare Ishita and Shagun. There are no two ways about it. It's natural human tendency.
He is a teenager and he is going to play one parent against the other that's very natural for all teenagers. He is feeling guilty, I understand, for lying to Ishita, but Mothers are a real crazy bunch. Raman is never going to take the hard line with Adi, why ? Because he is his weakness ! Case in point ... Amma's accident. He realized he was wrong and rectified his error is not to be argued, but he went too far to save him, putting his marriage with Ishita on line.
By discounting Ishita he has again put his marriage with her on the line.
Ishita is in over her head with Adi, until now she just had sweet cute little kid Ru who did her bidding... If she said Ru jump, Ru would ask, Ishima how high ! And suddenly a 12-13 year old, who is approaching his rebellious stage, his responsibility is being thrust at her ! And knowing his background, from her extremely negative experience with him, and his happily lying to her once again, has pushed Ishita over the edge !
As for Raman, why is he so angry at finding out about the nanny cam ? Yes he is a hot tempered person... Does that mean he has to lose his temper every time ? Why is Raman's anger justified ? If we cannot justify Ishita's stance, why is Raman's stance justified ?
Why is it ok, that Raman can say harsh words and get away with it ? Because he doesn't mean it and that is his character ! In reality, we speak absolute and utter truth when we are angry.
Why has he never interfered in Ruhi's upbringing ? Remember the video game issue ? He gave in to Ishita, so why is it different now ? Adi is a teenager, but he needs guidance and Raman is not doing him any favours by lying to Ishita.
Why is he alienating Ishita, after he has gone on record saying tum adi ki asli maa kyon nahin ho ?
Isn't it ironic that it was this same Ishita who walked into a burning house to save RAMAN'S children when their biological mother put their life in jeopardy ? I emphasize RAMAN over here.
Now if Adi is used by Vinnie's dad to harm Raman, the same people will go on record and say Ah ! This was done to glorify the female lead... So Ishita can never win.. if she is human and makes mistakes she is bashed and hated ... If she is the all forgiving jagat mata she is bashed and hated ... So she is always in a no win situation...
The way people cut some slack for Raman, why is it so difficult to do the same for ishita ? Everyone wanted a mistake committing Ishita, so why not cut her some slack ? Is it that difficult ?
Oh Raman is chastised, I don't doubt it. But the venom that is spewed at Ishita is at a completely different level. The voices go soft whilst chastising Raman, but are raucous n loud and venomous whilst baying for Ishita's blood !
You know this forum to me sometimes feels like the Red Queen.. off with Ishita's head !!!

PS: on a lighter note, yesterday I watched the promo of a movie, the name was Second Hand Husband and I fell off the chair laughing, thinking about our Puttar !🤣🤣
